Stark illiterate, were those states involved in slavery - yes or no? If they were involved in slavery and their original flag is what became the US flag, with extra stars - how does that make the flag different the confederate flag in terms of slavery?

Despicable bum, US flags from 1775:
No wonder you are so ignorant, you still don't understand the difference between the original 13 States and the States which started the confederacy! I've done everything to analyze the difference but you are still blind as a bat, mehn how stubborn must one person be? Wait maybe there's still hope, let's try this: The Biafran flag exists and it represents some States in Nigeria, now because of this, does the views of the Biafran people represent the entire Nigerian population? Stop being an ass and learn simple comprehension! Gosh I hate eggheads!

Point#1: The American flag existed long before the Confederate flag, the confederate flag was created in 1861 about 100 years after the American flag, the confederacy consisted of only 7 States initially out of about 30 states.
Point#2: There would be no Confederate flag or confederates if the Union didn't advocate to end slavery.
Point#3: If the union and confederate are one and the same then why kill each other over a civil war?
Point#4: Europeans owned slaves, Africans owned slaves and even Asians but at a point they gave it all up, only one country had a civil war because of slavery and that's the USA. The Confederacy was created as a form of defiance and it still represents that till today for white supremacists.

In light of these 4 points above, if you still believe in your lame theory that the confederate flag and the American flag represents the same thing then good luck with your ignorance!

Stop pontificating and writing disjointed essays about ya autobiography...I'm not interested in the story of ya life. Just state what the red stripes represent. Is that too difficult to answer?

You're a clown and I believe you lack reading and comprehension skills. In the post you quoted: I stated that I don't think you can label the Confederate flag as a slavery, without also labeling the US flag a slavery flag, since both parties were guilty in the act - Unionists and Confederate states. However, you can make a legit case for racism, oppression during Jim Crow, and lynching of black folks - and no sensible black person should be running around with a flag like that. Is that too difficult for you to understand, or do you want me to use google translate, to translate it to whatever language you can demystify?

Anyway, you keep exposing ya ignorance and to save myself an unnecessary back and forth, I shall tell you what the red stripes represent. The stripes represent the American British colonies that became rebellious to Great Britain...they're 13 in number and those were the states where slavery started in America. The first slaves taken to America were taken to Virginia to King George's plantation. So if those states represent the genesis of slavery in America, and they've been on every American union flag and they're still well represented on the current US flag - how's the US flag different from the confederate flag in terms of slavery?
Did you miss this part of my last comment, "I don't know what you are blabbing about regarding the red stripes, the red and white stripes represents the original 13 colonies who fought for freedom against Great Britain, or do you have another conspiracy theory?" or are you too blind to notice? Your theory still does not make sense, you want to know why? You are equating the Confederates with the entire United States and that is a fallacy. The Confederates started as just 7 States and about half of the states in the original 13 colonies were not part of them. I don't know maybe it's because you are not very bright or maybe you want to be right so badly but why can't you answer simple questions? Would there be a need for a Confederate flag or the Confederates if the Union or North decided they want to continue owning slaves? Deep inside you know the answer is no and this hereby nullifies your argument that the Union and the confederates are one of the same, it matters not what everyone did initially as everyone owned slaves even Africans but what matters is who did the right thing in the end. In every country's history there's a defining moment, the United States' denounced slavery while a couple of rebel States rejected that denouncement, this is what led to the Civil War that led to many deaths. You do understand what Civil War means? A country almost divided due to fundamental differences, if the union and the confederates represented the same fundamentals why was there a war? Explain this to me Einstein!

Typical illiterate.

Can you tell me the difference between the US flag of today and the Union flag of the Americin civil war, and what all the colours represent? Once you post the answer, you will see how you put ya foot in ya mouth trying to jump into something you have no clue whatsoever about.

And did the US founding fathers, including George Washington, own slaves or not? So if they were slave owners and also the main actors amongst the unionists...how does that make them different from the slave owners in the confederate states, since both parties were involved in the act?

I'm sure you don't know that the stars on the US flag represent the states and the union flag was the same flag, with the Stars representing the confederate states missing on it, no?

You lot of just blinkered louts and you talk too much for being ignorant and empty vessels. You'll self-destruct when you find out what the red stripes on the US flag represent.
Stop exposing your cluelessness, apart from taking several classes in U.S and World history, I'm blessed with an uncle who is an Historian, so kid you're barking up the wrong tree! Now to educate you a little, the original union flag had 33 stars representing every State and grew to 36 by the end of the war, the original Confederate flag had 7 stars representing the States of the confederacy and grew all the way to 13, the fundamental difference between both flags is that one represents all States and one represents States wishing to separate. I don't really need to argue with you because anyone that took basic U.S history in high school or college understands the fundamental difference between the Union and the Confederates. One group decided to end slavery and the other group decided they would rather die than live in a country without slaves. This is the most simple version and even a simpleton like yourself can grab the meaning. Now to the bold part of your silly write-up, they wouldn't call it a union if it didn't represent all the States would they? Your illogical reasoning still shies away from the fact that there would have been no Civil War if the North or the Union decided they want to continue owning slaves. In fact, Slaves were free in the North at least 5 to 10 years before the Civil War, so your little theory does not hold any water. You've yet to answer my question, if Africans sold each other as slaves initially, does it make all African countries as bad as slave owners in the States? I don't know what you are blabbing about regarding the red stripes, the red and white stripes represents the original 13 colonies who fought for freedom against Great Britain, or do you have another conspiracy theory?

In as much as the flag represents racism and all the atrocities committed against black folks, and Jim Crow - it is no different from the official US flag when it comes to slavery.

The confederate states weren't the only US states involved in slavery - the unionists were also slave traders/owners. Heck, all the founding fathers of America owned slaves.

And it gets tricky when you find out that a lot of black folks fought and died for the confederate states under the same flag, just as a lot of black folks fought and died for the unionists. So it is matter of opinion, albeit the Jim Crow era put a nail on the coffin of the confederate flag. But that doesn't negate the fact that this flag and the official US flag are both slavery flags, if you want to get to the nitty gritty of it. And if you've a problem with this one cos of slavery, then you should have a problem with the official US flag for the same reason.

Regardless, running around with a symbol of Jim Crow, racism, and the lynching of thousands of black folks isn't a wise thing to do.
Wow did I just read this? The official U.S flag represents slavery? Bro, what ya' smoking? We might as well say the official flags of all African countries represents slavery because Africans sold each other first before Europeans ever thought of it! If you truly understood what racism in the states did to the mentality of blacks, you would realize just how horrible it is to even condone anything that represents it's core value. The confederate flag is a symbol that still reminds many white supremacists today what they had back in the days, it is a source of inspiration for them. The mere fact that a Nigerian that's supposed to be a symbol of inspiration for his fans is so naïve of his heritage to the point that he would wear something which shows the world he's exactly the way the white man sees him, "an inferior piece of sh*t!"

The truth about this matter is that men and women were never created equally. In society, women are often given a higher moral standing than men. A woman with good character, loyal and submissive is seen as more worthy than one who is flashy, rude and foul mouthed. This brings us to the issue of forgiveness. It is very hard for a man to forgive his wife for adultery because by doing so the man is admitting that his wife and him are of the same moral weakness and the high pedestal he's been putting his wife is no longer there. Such a man if very strong can forgive but things will never be the same. Forget all those pretenders and hypocrites, forgiveness does not equal forgetting. As a man that trust is forever gone, the only thing left is management. The reason most women find it easy to forgive is because they are often not the breadwinner, in a marriage where the woman is the breadwinner and the husband cheats, trust me there would be hell to pay! In a nutshell, time heals some wounds but it takes lots of counseling, prayers and hard-work and this only works when both parties are still interested in trying, unfortunately sometimes it's not even worth the stress!

In summary, every country for itself. America will always protect American interests and its allies. Russia and China will always provide the counter. The wildcard many people don't seem to realize is North Korea, if North Korea by any method aligns with Russia, China and Iran then we can say it's going to be Armageddon! What most people don't realize is that no country has half of the fire power that the armed forces of the United States controls and if the Republican gains control of the Oval office then it is going to be tripled. The only thing preventing war so far has been the American people who saw what the Afghan and Iraq war did to the economy but when it comes to imminent danger the same people will gladly support a full onslaught of the enemy.Let's all pray that things won't deteriorate to that level for when two elephants(advanced countries) fights it is the grass(third-world countries) that suffers the most.

#1. Dating for 2 years, no kisses, sex , no intimacy.
#2. She's just 22 years, hardly ready to settle down!
#3. She wants to go for her masters yet I can bet you probably don't have yours.
#4. You are 28 years of age.

From the girl's words it is clear that she does not have a mind of her own and is clearly being influenced. As far as I can tell, you don't really love her that much anyways because it didn't take long for you to find alternatives when you called things off. So here is my greatest advice for you; you are a man, you are the provider, you are the one that needs to steer the ship in the right direction. Put down your feet and let her know where you stand, cut her off completely and move on with your life. Those ones saying let her go for masters abroad after introduction or wedding truly are out of touch with reality. Newly married couples should never live apart when an easier alternative is on the table, all in all my guy consider your age and your future, is it worth waiting for a girl that does not know what she truly wants in life?

I agree with you that neither nominee will win with a landslide. The winning margin of the popular vote would be similar to Gore's 500,000 vote "victory" over Bush in 2000. This yr, we could see a 271-266 EC victory.

Nonetheless, the mainstream media will do everything in their power to give minimal or no coverage to Clinton's past scandals. Already, no one in the MSM is talking about Benghazi-gate or her use of a private server to transmit classified info.

On the other hand, Trump will be ceaselessly savaged by the media. His several declarations of bankruptcy, misogyny, and racist statements will be played on the loop 24/7; not forgetting his dodgy "Trump University", and his absolute lack of knowledge on foreign affairs/national security issues.

The media helped Obama win 2 elections, and so will they help Secretary Clinton in her historic quest. If the same media can throw scandal-free Bernie under the bus, you can only imagine what they will do to a more controversial character in Donald Trump.
I agree completely but if there's anything the primaries have thought us so far, it is the fact that Americans are angry. Angry enough to just cause an historic upset, the media is up against a Billionaire and he has not even started spending yet. By the time he gets the Republican establishment behind him, we might see the same people that bashed Trump turn around to be his biggest allies. The media loves controversy and Trump is the master of turning controversy into popularity, he knows exactly what he's doing!

Do you think Obama's Justice Department will indict HRC? If she's indicted, she will surely spill the beans on Obama's dirty deals; so, unfortunately she will go scot-free.

Moreover, Trump won't win up to 20% of the Latino vote which is required for him to have a prayer in the general election.
Trust me Obama is one of the most useless president in U.S history. His cabinet members are constantly screwing him over and over gain but that's not the point. The point is that a legal case is a talking point for Trump couple that with her shady history, her mentor being a former KKK patron, her husband's illicit affairs and her sponsoring by wall street and other lobbyists; when you put it all together, you'll realize it won't be an easy election as most people think. Speaking of Latinos they represent the same thing as the Black community, most of them cannot vote. When you add the Latino and Black community registered voters it is not up to 20% of registered voters as a whole. If enough whites decide to support Trump, he'll surely give HRC a tough time at the polls. I'm particularly interested in States like Florida, New York, California and Iowa, these four states alone can make or break any of the candidates and don't forget there's something called the electoral college in America. Now realistically speaking, it's going to be a battle across all demographics but I don't believe one candidate is going to win in a landslide.

Nice and accurate history lesson there. But Trump is gonna lose to HRC because:
1) he won't get all the White votes. Sure, he will get a majority of the White working-class vote, and elderly vote; but they won't be enough because at least 90% of the minority vote will swing to HRC.

2) The youth vote (18-29) will also swing Hillary's way. That age demographic has always voted for Dems in presidential elections; and I don't see that pattern changing soon.

3) 70% of women here hold an unfavorable view of Trump, including 47% of Republican women. In the 2012 election, women comprised 53% of the electorate that voted for Obama. So, if Hillary gets a heavy majority of the women vote, then I see her winning the election.
You are forgetting one thing, Election is not until November and one thing about Trump that everyone agrees to is his tenacity. HRC also has an unfavorable rating among working class men around 60%, around working class women of 40%, a pending legal case and a whole lot of dirty secrets. Let's just say it's going to be a fiercely contested election!

Mindfulness:
Demand

Synonyms

ask, challenge, inquire, interrogate, question, request
call for, cry out for, entail, involve, necessitate, need, require, take, want
claim, exact, expect, insist on, order

So women are demanded / required to include their husbands' names by the so called culture and tradition but men can choose whether they include her or not? grin grin grin
Go back to school and read more about synonyms, a lot of them are subject to interpretation or context. If your brain tells you that demand means 'ask' and at the same time means 'require' then your brain should also be able to understand this is not an absolute correlation but a correlation within context or subject to interpretation. I understand where you are coming from, trying to bolster your argument by mixing apples with oranges but my guy save it for the less informed!

P.S: Just to make things clearer for you, in African societies there's no requirement preventing a single woman from sleeping around openly with no regrets but society will judge such a woman harshly and this deters most women from going such route. This way society demands morality for our women but the choice still remains with each woman to comply or rebel. The same society would easily forgive a man for such immoral acts even though the man and the woman broke the exact same rule. I hope you understand things better now!
