A Young Woman identified as Ann Oshaifi from Delta state was reportedly murdered by a suspected ritualist in Lagos.

Human rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe, who disclosed this via Facebook on Wednesday, April 6, said that Ann was butchered into pieces with her vital parts harvested.

According to Joe, the suspected killer was arrested last month and arraigned in court in Ikeja on Tuesday, April 5.

It was gathered that the deceased was reported missing before her mutilated body was found dumped in a bag.

First of all, the educational system which is considered as one of the pillars that holds the society is at a dysfunctional state here in Nigeria. Over the years we've experienced serious educational decline because we have leaders who have no regard for education. All their children are out there schooling , so nothing like constant ASUU strike, inconvenient atmosphere for learning , hiking of tuition fees, cultism here and there etc. Is not really affecting them but the common man. Couple with the fact that when you graduate they won't be guarantee for a good job. How do you expect them to think, when almost all hope is lost.

They're the number one to blame. Over the years we've being experiencing serious decline in our educational system , with endless ASUU strike going on every year. What kind of graduate do you expect to produce.??

Education is the acquisition of "personal development", knowledge, skill development, habit, morals and values, These are the essence of education.

Therefore, education could be acquired in any language.
Out of this personal development is 'exposure'.

Exposure teaches that we have different people around the world with different languages.
German speaks their language
Spanish speaks theirs
Portuguese with theirs as well.

Hence, if someone can not speak a foreign language or other dialects, it doesn't mean the person is not educated.

We have been dating for a while now. Been coming to my house and my parents knows her. Normally she visits and sleeps over and ofcourse because she is my guest ,I'll have to give her food etc.


So today I decided to be different. I told her I was hungry and if she was, ofcourse she hurried and said yes, dresses up and jumped in my lexus. I just smiled, and started the car and we drove to a restaurant.

Before we got down from the car, I told her that I don't want to spend more than 3k on the meal between the both of us, and I told her to handle it, which she said fine, and split the fees to 1500 each. She got her food and a huge chicken which everything was 1500 naira on her end, and I got swallow which was about 1050 naira on my end. And the total money was 2550 naira. Then suddenly my girlfriend told me she also wants plantain, that the money is not yet upto 3k. That it must reach 3k. I was shocked because, if we were married then she can't help me save money when I tell her let's cut down cost. I thought she would even be happy that she saved me money and now we didn't send upto that 3k. But wow.

The waiter wanted to take the food and add the plantation of 450, but I refused and told her to collect her payment as we were done ordering.

My so called girlfriend then got angry and decided to seat somewhere far away from me, and we didn't see each other till I was done eating, although she waited for me. To my surprise she didn't eat that food, she packaged it back in a takeaway bag, and kept it for me. I asked her why she didn't eat the food she ordered by herself which was already 1500, as we agreed, and she said she won't eat it, and I took the food back. I ate the food myself with the chicken.

Right now, I don't want to take this relationship serious. Did I do the wrong thing by not allowing her spend the remaining money and making it 3k? Which ofcourse was the remaining money from my own food.?

I strongly believe this is one of the hardest questions some people would want to ask themselves, but to the fact remains that we ought to be realistic.

I have met couple of guys who had lost their jobs , and it was not funny at all. They tend to be somewhat miserable.

It is never something anyone would wish for their enemies. Even the ones who have managed to build their own houses are not equally spared as I recently met one and had this great pity on him .

Even to my enemies, I would not want to see them in such state as reality always dawns on people when they experience retrenchment. Most people could tell you one thousand and one ways they would have improved their lives if given a second chance, but the truth is it's like comparing theory with practical. Both can never be the same.

Everyone cannot be an entrepreneur hence I would advise we all go into it.

Now to my question, how would you practically avoid this miserable state especially if you are earning now, or how have you avoided it in the past?

Hmmm, during that lockdown period i saw hell, it was not easy for me at all. I lost my two jobs during that period, five months later i lost my dad. As a young boy who needs to hustle to make ends meet, I've been doing this housing agent work for some years now to sustain myself since no job is forthcoming, and i can say am fully in the game now.

But my major concern as an agent is that, house owners no longer have pity for tenants anymore, they just hike price at-will and when you try to talk to them they get angry and tell you to live if you can't afford it.
The worst part of it is that, most of this houses are not even up to standard. Some of them lack things like water, car park, no space for ventilation and even the rooms are very small.

Pls is there anyone experiencing this too??
