PDP and their cohorts will stop at nothing to ridicle PMB.

What if this share isnt worth N1. Should he have declared assets that have lost their value. May be they want him to count among the cars he owns the one BH destroyed with a bomb. Very soon they will bring a report thag he didnt declare that car.

During GEJ's tenure, i was always hoping GEJ will talk to us now i understand why PMB needs to shut up and let them kill themselves.

Common sense is not common these days o. Hmmmm!

Armed with a spade i sought to open a waste water channel in my parents back yard through a small banana plantation. Opening through some felled banana trunks which were rotten, i came accross a large number of this worms.

I heard its a delicacy in some areas of Nigeria. If its yours, what is the name and how do you prepare it?

Not that am interest in eating it, i want to improve my knowledge. Personally, anything other than Cow, Goat, Sheep, Pig, Chicken, Turkey and fish should not show up on my dining table.

Shatap.
For decades that the southwest voted only Awo and UPN presidential candidates, was southwest denied what is due to it?

Every body, every part in a country must not vote one candidate in election.

The SW and North massed up in APC merely to control oil revenues, not for Nigeria's good. They have made millions more recruits for Biafra
Last civil war, the mass recruits died of starvation, it will happen again.

No one says you must vote for one candidate but when you refuse to vote for a candidate and he wins, dont expect special treament or priviledges.

Wait and see... Before now I used to be indifferent on Biafra, but right now, I'm highly persuaded and motivated. Nigeria is no more worth it... I can boldly tell you that a large army of Biafra conscious and ready armies springing up on daily right now, courtesy of your kind of comments and the body language of your bigoted president. You can't stop Biafra this time... quote me any day.
Now you are only angry GEJ lost elections after you guys put so much energy trying to bring him back. I know why you guys want him back. You want Nigeria destroyed so it will be easy to have your biafra. Unfortunately, the north and SW are better politicians than the SE.

There is no body language. There is just 1 thing, reward for hardwork. This government is for North and SW the last one was for SS and SE, you can see it with the huge numbers of Igbos in Abuja.

Depraved swine. So evry region must support ur dullard to be favoured after elections. GEJ that did so many projects for the northerners like ur sorry self even though u neva liked him, wat wud u say to that? Anyway ur thinking like a proper northerner. Yoruba is the guys I pity. SE will soon be out of this zoo called Nigeria.
In your dreams.

When you sleep by 10pm, biafra comes alive but by 6am Nigeria is the reality. You better stop dreaming and face reality. Vote wise leaders and invest in the future of Nigeria cos there will never be biafra.

Note my spelling of biafra, it does not deserve a capital letter cos its neither a name of a place, animal nor thing. Call me all the names you like, you still remain 2nd class in Nigeria and a political slave.

If you guys think GEJ was hated in the north, then you are confused. I for one vote GEJ in 2011. GEJ actually had atleast half of the votes of the entire northern votes in 2011. He lost the north in 2015 by his own actions or inactions.

Car Talk › Re: Changing Power Steering Seals DIY Style On 2003 Accord (pics!!!) by adanny01(m): 10:38pm On Sep 05, 2015
I decided to risk it by dismantling it.

First attempt in coupling was unsuccesful as it refused to pump due to mistakes in installing outercase and side plate. The mechanic got scared and was reluctant to open up again but i prevailed on him to do it.

Second attempt was very successful and stressless as i sent the mechanic on an errand while i took time to wash the parts clean let them dry, made sure the right parts are placed correctly. Mechanics dont really take their time to do a thorough job. This time around the pump worked like magic and even better than it was originally. I have a new bearing inplace which made the pump very quiet. The difference is clear.

Car Talk › Re: Changing Power Steering Seals DIY Style On 2003 Accord (pics!!!) by adanny01(m): 3:09pm On Sep 05, 2015
Its worst than i thought. The bearing ball braces are the ones that broke.

Car Talk › Re: Changing Power Steering Seals DIY Style On 2003 Accord (pics!!!) by adanny01(m): 12:59pm On Sep 05, 2015
My 03 accord PS pump is under threat. It works perfect at the moment with no significant leaks but physically, i just observed this morning there are metal fillets on the PS pump near its bearing. Closer look confirmed the bearing balls were exposed i could see them. What ever was its cover is grounded and can see scratch marks on the pulley and shaft.

I removed belt and rotated by hand, it was ok but there was one chunk of metal fillet flying around but stuck. Shaking the pulley up and down there is obviously more clearance than usual and pushing in and out shows alot more clearance on the shaft.

My conclusion is that the bearing cover got entangled with the bearing and got crushed. This noise i heard for two weeks when i heard serious grinding noise but i already concluded water pump bearing which was investigated and made the loudest noise when turned by hand among all bearings located there. I was due for service and after it the noise stopped so i was a little confused until this morning.

My problem is a choice of action. Either allow the pump to self destruct when bearing continue failing or attempt to change it now. The problem with the second choice is that to get to the bearing, the pump must be completely disassembled and spindle removed. The removal involves pressing in the machine press. I risk losing its efficiency if i go down this lane and having access to repair kit is a problem from my current location.

ceejay4real asked this question on the thread www.nairaland.com/2574972/ahmad-ibrahim-doko-abu-youngest-professor/5

Yeah, dat's tru! But come o, did he run his BSc program for 7 years? 1991 to 1998 4rm the citation. Just being curious. Pls can someone in the house help? Does ABU run a 7 years Bsc program in Quantity Surveying?
My comment would have perfectly answered his question and maybe he would have not asked this question, but i was banned and my post hidden. I just find it strange that an explanation for this simple question asked by someone which had no abusive words is worth a ban. I just hope someone can shed light.
Nairaland General › Banned By Anti Spam Bot, What Does It Mean? by adanny01(op): 11:16pm On Sep 04, 2015
I have been banned from education section using the language on this thread's title. This is my 3rd or 4th time on NL cant remember well.

Only on one ocassion i sincerely knew i used abusive words and got a ban, other times i just get confused on why i was banned. This occasion is no exception cos there is nothing withing my knowledge that my comment would seem to anyone as abusive.

Even if it was abusive, i have seen so many abusive comments and wondered why these members have not banned?

The message read anti spam, could it be that there is an intergrated anti spam in NL that flaged my post as spam? What qualifies a post to be flagged as spam? Was my post flagged automatically or manually by a moderator? Is there a chance that a moderator will be wrong? What are the measures put in place for members to seek redress for wrongful ban or victimisation? I have seen NL rules and understand them, but when i get banned not for any reason i can point out, i really get confused. I wonder whether a ban should be justifiable or abitrary?

ABU usually gives award base on character and learning. if de view u lacking in one, u are a gonna so southern jumping to conclusions continue since 1960 all ur proffs end up in newspapers keep talking trash. look at ekiti wat has become of dem? food for tot for those quoting me and misrepresenting me too
Am an Abusite too and graduated from that faculty. I cant remember him but his face seem familiar somehow. I noticed he hasnt been around much as he left when i came to the school and returned after i left.

I am so shocked that they gave him that promotion even when he only did Bachelors and didnt stay long as lecturer. The guy probably has connections to the high heavens. A respected Dr Afolayan of Civil engrng was denied that promotion for years until Unimaid offered him and he left. ABU lost so many good people like that but for this case, it smells connections.

Family › Re: Is It Possible To Love All Your Children Equally? by adanny01(m): 2:33pm On Sep 03, 2015
neoapocalypse:
What facts are you talking about ? If you love one child more than the other it doesn't mean everybody does that. It breeds disunity amongst your children , if you understand that then you won't love one child more than the other , it's a choice you consciously make.
To love 2 children exactly equally is an impossible thing to me.

Love is always complicated especially as it relates to parent hood. No parent would admit more love for onw child to the other, but they know it in their hearts. I must say this love is not by choice but by preference of individual personalities of each child even if they are perfectly identical.

Dont forget that love is in the heart, what is visible to others as love is actually a choice which the parent may have made, in this case, to prevent disunity.

I have 2 young boys, i love them both, they are very young so their personalities have not been fullly developed. My love for them is derived from their personalities so its not comparable since personalities differ. To complicate things nature has its way, one is close to me and the other to his mother. Sometimes, nature will cause one child to have better personality everything else so making a parents love to tilt to one direction.

If you ask any parent to choose, no one will, but if the devil forces a choice, one will definately be made which will show where the love was in the first place. My neighbour has two children one is an absolute hopeless drunk while the other the very humble boy. They are both above 30 and i dont expect their parents to love them the same but for unity sake they can only try to pretend they are loved equally.

Many times i have seen people seeking attention or a show of solidarity by sponsoring all kinds of adverts on various media outlets even placing bill boards. I have seen people print t shirts posters etc where the candidates themselves were never aware.

Example is the paid adverts by Fayose front pages of newspapers that attracted public criticism till GEJ and his team had to diatance themselves from it. This case is exactly a similar one and Buhari cannot be held responsible for such a publication.

You obviously dont know what an update is. For me, it makes me feel like a bought a brand new phone without spending a kobo.

When i finally was able to unpdate my Galaxy SII from Gingerbread 2.3 to JellyBean 4.1 it felt ownsome. My boring phone which i used was already pissing off at the time, but with the new update, i had no reason to buy a another phone spending atleast 70k. I only had to buy a new battery for 2.5k plus data which i became contented once again but was stolen.

My next expensive phone LG Nexus 4 delivered me updates like no business. I was happy until the screen broke. I thought i save myself money for buying Tecno Phantom A1-F7, in the long run am tired of it while the phone world has left me far behind.

I give it up to Tecno for their screen which hardly breaks. Both mine and my wife's has taken uncountable and incomparable crashes while my LG took 2 crashes and broke each occasion. Its now laying down.

With an update fall back in love with you old phone
Car Talk › Re: Is There Any Advantage Of Disconnecting Car Engine Temperature Thermostat? by adanny01(m): 9:35pm On Aug 29, 2015
OnlyemmyM:
Let me throw more light to this, first of all am a well trained driver in Autostar transport company and we undergo mechanical training before been given any car to ride, yes because of our hot weather in our country you are advise to remove the thermostat but there are procedures in doing that which many road side mechanics don't know, for instance if the temperature of your car always stay at half of the meter, when you remove the thermostat it will not rise up to even a quarter and is gonna make your Supposition very effective and your engine will be cool and in safe conditions, but you need an expert mechanic to remove it for and that I won't share it here but I can leave my numbers here (08130731770, 08022944196 ).
The unfortunate thing they didnt teach you is that as long as the temp does not reach that half meter, your car will continue to inject more fuel than needed. The car is designed to increase fuel injection when cold and reduce fuel injection when fully hot. That means you car will consume more fuel than usual which you cant stop it from doing so.

Effects are
1. High fuel consumption
2. Premature failure of catalytic coverter
3. Permanent check engine light
4. Reduced piston rings lifespan leading to premature smoking
5. Reduced engine block lifespan leading to premature smoking
Those who in addition connect cooling fan directly will have
6. Reduced lifespan of cooling fan due to undue stress leading to premature failure
7. Low battery lifespan
Car Talk › Re: Is There Any Advantage Of Disconnecting Car Engine Temperature Thermostat? by adanny01(m): 9:16pm On Aug 29, 2015
ajealadick:
The simple truth is from the design of your car it suppose to run in europe or American and temperature conditions can be below "0' degrees which will make coolant in the cooling system freeze therefore a thermostat to ensure the engine does no start cooling via radiator and fan. the thermostat to allow the coolant in the engine build temperature before cooling (note that not only over heating destroys engine, also overcooling, will wear engines out). You can either drive with your thermostat in the tropics, but beware if it breaksdown it will refuse to open and then your car becomes a guinea pig for our mechanics. no car or truck has ever developed faults as a result of the removal of thermostat here in the tropics. if you must keep them, also ensure to regularly check and change them- they don't stay for ever in the engine, they have a life span. the simplest method to check them is in a hot water with the temperature written on them, they should open around the specified temps.
I wish to ask you 2 questions.

1. Whats the temperature range in Nigeria compared to that of the US.
- Nigerian temperature ranges between 15-46 celsuis while that of the US ranges between -50-50. Do youknow what that means? It means there are areas there that are hotter than Nigeria, should car owners in such places also remove their thermostats?
2. Peugeot used to assemble cars in Nigeria, why did they assemble their cars brand new in Nigeria with their thermostats in place? Their engineers should have removed all but why didnt they?
