I was so much in love with my girlfriend during my uni days. The problem was that she wasn't a beautiful girl and I had no plans of making it official.

i aborted the wrap ops, based on cost and shipping time..took the car to a conventional spray paint shop.. i intend to take my time, and buy the wrap ali e xpress and probablly use it to cover scratches and dinges on various matching sections of the car, when it comes up.

I did consider wrapping my car. I did a comprehensive search for a suitable wrap on AliExpress but didn't get any that would match the OEM paint. I want to stick with the factory colour. That means I am only considering a silver glossy wrap which I didn't see a match.

The second issue was that my car needs panel beating. This means that to wrap the car, i still have to do all what is required to prepare the car for paint. Also, wrapping requires a second skilled pair of hand.

Sorry to say, the true vanquished is the Edo APC and their candidate if Oshiomhole folds his hands.

So, I received my spray gun today. I tested the spray pattern with water, I can't conclude unless i do some actual painting on a smooth metal sheet.

I confirmed it's nozzle to be 2.5mm. My readings suggest 1.3-1.4mm for base and clear coat and min of 1.7 for primer. I am still considering the best way forward.

Meanwhile, I took another car to my affordable painter in Jos. This painter has done 3 of my car paint jobs before. The result isn't great even with his experience.

The paint has runs, very little orange peels all over and a very rough finish. The lustre is good but mirror image is very distorted. Sanding and buffing would have made it better but I didn't pay for it so am not touching it. It makes me feel I can do better.

What is the actual time? Immediately you met? Weeks, months after you met? Before you establish a relationship with him/her? When is the appropriate time that he/she will not get hurt nor walk away especially if they both met and love immediately?

This is exactly the reason my sister's wedding was halted.

I admire your spirit. You are in for something great. Trial DIY is sweet when you have enough cash for repetitions and final resignation to employing an expert in case you don't get it right.

Spray gun is a no no. It spits. It doesn't give a continuous stream of air. I have one. I used it to spray an old fridge and the job wasn't wonderful.
You need a proper spraying machine which you can borrow/hire from a furniture maker.

The art of spraying is not easy. You need time to learn the hand movements. How to start and brake the stream for consistency without causing bleeding. How to spray difficult corners too.

Mixing the paint is not difficult. An experienced paint dealer can teach you that. Do not be deceived, you don't need plenty of thinner. Painters make people believe they do.

If you feel your finishing is not right, scrape it and start over. You have all the time in the world.

Sanding disc is not ideal for auto finishing especially for a novice. Buffer is ok. Use your hand and go gradually. To get the surfaces and edges straight, hold the sand paper with a block of wood at the back.
Follow those videos but don't forget they were made by experts using the right equipment and under the best conditions.

Unfortunately, I bought the spray gun already but not taken delivery of it yet. I have a welder who is interested in the spray gun if I have no use for it.

I wanted a solo run but it seems I have to outsource.

the only difference is that glasses do work on me, and I've had a number of glasses over the years but recently I noticed a new problem arising.

I now see double whenever I am looking at an object that is far away even when wearing glasses, and I feel like it is just a matter of time before I cannot walk normally because I will see everything doubled.

and I have visited a number of hospitals they just recommend glasses to me over and over again in fact I have like four pair of glasses currently.

what am asking is that has any of you ever experienced such or anyone close to you, or do I have to go abroad eventually because nobody seem to share the same problem as me.

There are several things that can cause double vision.

Since a human has 2 eyes, you need to know if the problem is from one eye or both.

Its simple, cover the left eye and see if the right eye can see without double vision. Do same for the other eye.

Your results will narrow down the problem.

I have done so many DIYs that I have not posted here. The reason I no longer post my DIYs is because most people associate it to money. Even the mechanics and other artisans would think its about money but no, I want things done carefully, planned and perfect. Sometimes its just satisfying my curiosity. Sometimes about the money, sometimes its about what I have read somewhere.

I have watched videos of DIY painting, the worst that can happen is having orange peel effect.

If not for my resilience, I would have spent a fortune on my car. Even the paint supplier I contacted told me I cannot do the paint myself. This isn't new.

What I am spending for now is what I can afford to gamble so I am not planning to regret.

The indirect primaries only favours the faction with deepest pockets. You appoint your delegates and pay them hard currency and they will never fail.

The direct primaries however ensures that those with conscience will do the needful and those with price tags gets a small stipend. There is also a limit to the rigging even though its possible but at a lesser scale to the indirect primaries.

I am scared to place order for the sand paper, sanding and buffing bits. They are only available on Jumia Global or AliExpress which will take forever due to the lockdown.

If I can get local options, I will proceed right away.

I tend to forget where I keep my stuff easily, and it's really annoying. I may do something right now and forget it seconds later. Ironically, I remember things like names of people, what people said and the faces of people easily and accurately. I can still remember the surnames and names of my ex-classmates in secondary school perfectly, and the names and surnames of 202 people in my class at the University level.

My forgetfulness, however, petrifies me a lot as I'm 22 years old. What could be wrong? Should I be worried or it's normal at such an age?

I forget names of some people I met 5mins ago, I don't recognize some faces who introduced themselves 5 times. If 5 people introduced themselves, I will forget the names of atleast 2 by the yime they finished. For me, out of sight is out of mind.

I was shocked when a federal government director recognized me in church, called my name when the last time he saw me, I was in primary school like over 20yrs ago. Our next meeting in church, he called my name before i knew who he was. Imagine how embarrassing it is. This kind of thing happens too often that I appear to them as snubbing or dumb. For me, out of sight is out of mind.

On the other hand, if i parked my car for a year, I will know if it moved an inch. I arrange my things orderly and can remember the order i kept them. You will see me moving the center rug everyday because someone swept the sitting room but didn't adjust its position very well.

If I dropped a stained shirt in the laundry basket, I will not forget I have a stain on such a shirt.

I feel the same way you do and wish I could help.
