fuckboys:It gave me same result but the second time it opened. |
Amotolongbo:Adam and Ahmed in the same name? |
Kriss216:You didn't read well. All the invited professors commenced the processes which included screening and physical interviews with one Prof Ahmed topping in all of the processes for consideration.Who is this other Prof Ahmed? This makes me have doubts on the article itself. The absence of northerners in the 5 names brings suspicion and my suspicion is confirmed by the name Ahmed, another northerner. The issue is, Nairalanders would just whip up sentiments with out considering there are truths vs propaganda. |
fuckboys:Try again |
Adex2442:I tried again and it work. |
Its obvious this thing is dead on arrival. This is what my NIN and my number showed. I never saw anything on my number. This means if someone has access to your NIN and phone no, your identity is automatically stolen. There should be an OTP sent to my number, in that case the person needs me to use it but as it is, i am out of my own identity app. Thanks but no thanks FG.

Meanwhile, at my friends wedding in Kaduna, after the church wedding the convoy of grooms men and some yoyo bride maids had not arrived the reception venue 2hrs after leaving church. Even the bride and groom had gone home, ate, refreshed and changed clothes and had arrived the reception. There were endless calls because even the best man was not there and there was no traffic at all. The reception could not go on without the usual dance entrance. Apparently, they were all drinking beer at a joint. Omo come see dancing, that reception was lit. Immediately after the couple sat down inn the reception, we relocated to the club adjacent the wedding hall. Naija weddings sha.

With a MAF sensor, itt should be a 2005. |
uruba23:You said something important, maintenance. However, even for now, maintenance is not yet the problem but affordability. Nigerians are really really poor and this is not going to solve the transportation issues. By road, Abj to Kaduna is N1000-1500 to central market. By train, you are looking at N2500 to get to central market. Besides that, the station is located at Rigasa, a location you would not like to be if their is trouble in the state. The station before that is technically in the bush a very far distance from the town. What am trying to say is, it doesn't make sense for the poor or even the middle class. The railway may not be patronised by the very people it is intended for. The upper class are above it, the middle class and the poor are below it. Who will patronized it. If I will spend N2500 to get to my destination in Kaduna by train, my own car consumes N3000 fuel to get to same destination, why will I opt for the train? Besides, with N3000, I have room for 4 more people. With such low patronage and when corruption sets in, that will be the end. |
delpee:Pls don't start what you can't finish. What about Obj and Yaradua. Do you know what they did on these projects? |
frozen70:Sex even under marriage has to be consensual. Although being married makes it hard to proof rape especially without the associated forced entry and violence. |
Zane2point4:White elephant you mean. The thread is titled, "I am considering....". At no point did mention I must complete the job. Like I said before, if my spray gun will not do a good job, I will pull the plug. I have not had time to test it, but will soon. Since my front bumper is going off, I will get little paint and clear coat to test the spray. If the output is nice and smooth, we are game. |
Johnsonkeyz2019:Your bushings are bad. |
9icetoo:If you don't argue, they will write worn out tires, hoping you will not go to court. Once you talk and they understand you know your rights, they will never book you and will end in just an argument. This is same reason they avoid commercial drivers and go for the gentle people who can easily dip a hand in the pocket. |
Praxtech:Tires expire for sure, but they don't have a certain date, time or period to expire. 4 brand new tires of same production date and brand could expire at different periods. It just pains me that FRSC conclude that 4yrs is the right expiry date when manufacturers clearly would not agree or have not said so. Michelin recommends 10yrs to change their tires.

prince985:This one don murder his employee. They use a translation software so will not know how horrible their message is. |
ALEX182:Tell him, "if i were you, i would not be sending money to a girl i have not met". If you can, record your conversation as a simple advice to someone you think is being scammed. |
tripoli007:When I buy brake pads for N4,500. It costs me N500 to pay my mechanic to install them. But no, I take it home and install myself. Its not about the N500 installation fee. 80% of the time I wash my car myself. Its not about the N500 fee. Within this same period that I created this thread, I have painted a car. I have the painter's number to call him? Do you drive? I guess yes. Why do drive? As in, why don't you hire a driver instead of driving yourself? Its just 40k a month am sure you can afford it. You get what I mean? In my own case, clearly I can't afford 60k for a paint job, do you want to volunteer? I would gladly, accept and appreciate your offer. As an update to the thread, I have ordered 2 items and it has been 2months now, no show. Stuffs i ordered February were refunded last month, its not easy to get what I want. Besides, after my accident, I have bought a bumper, headlight, bumper bracket, inner fender mudliner and engine splash shield. All I need is to drop the car with my panel beater in Jos. If at any point I cannot proceed as planned, I would have no regrets to call it off. I have seen far more expensive ventures on NL that have not yielded desired results. I know when to quit except if you order me to quit by stepping up right now. |
dustydee:The driver's brother owns the car and let his brother who didn't have a license drive. Unfortunately for the police in this case. They are charging the owner for allowing the driver to drive while charging the driver for not having the owners permission to drive. I am confused at these Police o. All those charges will not stick. Involuntary manslaughter on the driver, yes and driving with out license is a 10k fine. He has done 4 weeks of his sentence already so case may end up in little or no jail time. |
Olayinka777:After my data capture 2 days ago, I got few clarifications. 1. Yes the official fee is N6350 2. You can open the website select renewal, fill your license no/date of birth and update your data if necessary (not all fields can be edited such as name and date of birth) 3. On the section "Do you want to recapture?", apparently, the issues associated with selecting no has been resolved so you can select yes or no, either way you have to show up for approval. If you select yes or no, know that you will be scheduled on another day to recapture and/or pick up the temporary DL 4. Pay on the website using your ATM card or at the bank or any of the option you see. Wait a day till your application status says payment confirmed then print an acknowledgment slip, if possible 2 copies. 5. Attach a copy of the slip and a photocopy of the expired DL and take to your selected licensing office for approval. (The 2nd slip can help you avoid VIO and FRSC as along as payment is confirmed) They should tell you when to check back if you are to recapture or otherwise. 6. Upon approval, you maybe sent a date for recapture and/or pick a temporary license. I also got a clarification on their charges. They usually have a printed form for renewal. This form, the internet costs and the text message are all inclusive in this charge. Some MLA charge upto N500-1,000. In my own case, I paid N200 to laminate the temporary DL. So total charges should be in the range of N500-N1,200 max. Since some officers will not care if you did everything yourself and still demand you pay like others. |
The problem with Nairaland is that so many people write posts when they have no experience whatsoever on the matter. Only a man knows who his wife is, even her own parents have no idea the kind of wife their daughter is. So if this man says what counters his wife, one of them is known to be lying but its bad too assume its the husband just because he left her or they are poor. What if the wife actually has bad attitude that he couldn't live with? The wife is actually beautiful, what if she was disappointed he couldn't provide more. |
thebigkendo:The least the law makers should do is give me a warning not a fine for their own irresponsibility. |
Natmvaa:No one is saying that a faded plate number is ok. What I don't agree or feel is injustice is the fine for it and the cost of reprint. You can retain my drivers license or documents and write a retention note to reprint the plates but not fine me as well as ask me to pay for reprint when the initial fault was not mine. It is gross injustice. In saner climes, you get a warning. But here everything ends up a fine. |
ndcide:Na tampering of plate number be that, that one na 10k! LOL Nigerian has gone to the dogs already. |
bolaayenimo:Youk know of course he can't. You of all people know how hard they will come for his head. |
debola33:Your mum is a good woman likewise your wife. You don't wanna take that risk if it were another case. The damage is forever. Men are easy but women! |
OluwaLina1:Your sister is actually avoiding trouble, however, she's doing it harshly. The problem with living with a MIL in her own house is that, that is literally her house. Your sister has no certain rights in her husbands house. It is even worst than being a second wife. Everything depends on the kind of person the MIL and your sister is. Outright cancellation of the wedding means your sister may not be head over heels with the guy and the MIL can use it against her. You sister doesn't need to be blunt as the stake has been stacked against her already. Your sister needs to deal with her MIL directly not through the son. Your sister needs some understanding from the MIL and only she can let the boy go. |
When a friend of mine introduced me to betting, I quickly realised its not a profit making venture (the way we do it). I have friends that will bet their entire salary on a game. Just like a Ponzi, you don't put your savings. You put what you can afford to lose with a smile and not lose sleep. I decided that N100/day and N400/week is my personal limit and I stuck to that. I did add personal rules and kept to it. This helped me curtail the spending and serial loosing. I have seen how professional bettors do it and may invest in it sometime but for now, betting isn't even interesting. Betting is not for everyone. |
Next time, a big daddy has a shift lock release button shown below. When the brake switch fails, just press that button with the key while shifting the shifter out of park. Leave the shifter at Neutral position since the car cannot start at any position other than park and neutral. You can start the engine and put the shift to Drive or Reverse. You can Drive the car normal until you replace the switch. I am personally having issues with my brake switch. It happened a month ago when I gave my brother my car. He got stuck and was going to call a mechanic. I told him what to do and he came back successfully. By the time he came back the brake switch started working. It happened again randomly 2 times in the past 1 month. Note, shift lock release is an emergency feature so one should fix the brake switch since brake lights will be out which is a road traffic violation.
