SLS is a Bayero himself but didn't bear the name.

Abdullahi Bayero was SLS's great grandfather and former Emir. SLS's grandfather - Muhammadu Sanusi I was Abdullahi Bayero's 1st son and successor.

SLS's grandfather, and Ado Bayero were brothers and sons of Abdullahi Bayero. So Ado Bayero is a younger brother to SLS's grandfather.

That means Ado Bayero was SLS's granduncle. The new Emir Aminu Bayero is SLS's uncle. SLS's wife is the current Emir's younger sister, also his aunt.

I hope am correct.

If I prefer the a 2010 Accord to a 2006 Avalon, certainly I have my reasons to compare and can make a choice. So who ever is buying a car can compare even a Gwagon to a Picanto then make a choice based on the individual's need and preference. You cant be a judge of someone else's choice.

The reasons for comparison are based but not limited to price, reliability, performance, availability and cost of parts, fuel consumption, ease of repair, tech features, ease of use, luxury, etc

Mark Zuckerberg is a billionaire and can afford multiple $3million Rolce Royce but he drove the likes of Pagani Huayra, Volkswagen Golf, Acura TSX, Honda fit of all vehicles. You can browse the list, of world richest people driving ordinary cars and not luxury cars like you think everyone who has little money should buy luxury. Its not strictly like that, its a choice so comparisons must be made.

Have you ever been in a limited avalon? Avalon is not camry. And it takes about 8 years for an accord/camry to match an older avalon in terms of luxury, equipments and features.

Equipment and features are exactly what makes luxury cars unreliable. You think the 2006 Avalon has no Honda mate or what?

Check the 2006 Honda Legend below, this is a match.

Give me a 2006 Avalon option to a 2010 Accord, I will not even think about it.

Just like Obasanjo, i received the news as good and bad.

Good in the sense that, Sanusi had probably sworn to himself that restoring the throne of his grandfather was the biggest ambition of his life after the grandfather was dethroned and his uncle took over. Sanusi found himself at logger heads with his uncle and cousins, Ado Bayero and his children who would have loved to keep the throne henceforth within their nuclear family. Sanusi beat them to get the throne but could not keep it due to the eagle eyes of his cousins who still habour the wishes of their father to keep the throne within a nuclear family. Sanusi has served, his name is written, his children are direct heirs to the throne so i will say Sanusi is still fulfilled no matter what. The throne is not far from his own Nuclear family.

Bad in the sense that the Kano Emirate has been reduce to nothing. 2 of Ado Bayero's son's are Emirs but the five Emirs put together cannot wield the influence of the last true Emir, Sanusi. Bad for the Kano Emirate and bad for people who pride themselves of a powerful Emir and emirate. It is also bad for Ganduje's political reputation. Ganduje's life and political presence will end with this office of governor.

Lastly, even though Sanusi may want to remain in exile to preserve the tradition of his people for dethroned rulers, i feel he should free himself of the traditional bondage and come back to national limelight where his reputation surpasses Ganduje's a million fold. Sanusi could even be Nigeria's president in future, I will vote him.

However, in this modern time, Governor Ganduje has no right to keep Lamido Sanusi under house arrest when he did NOT commit any criminal offence. Having being dethroned, he ceases to be subject to the Kano Emirate bye-laws. His dethronement does not make him a persona non grata. He is still a bona fide citizen of Nigeria entitled to all fundamental rights as guaranteed by the Nigeria Constitution for all its citizens. Therefore, any attempt to banish him and detain him against his will is nothing but an act of kidnapping. I am sure his family, friends, associates and particularly his personal lawyers know what to do.

I think they knew of that thats why the police were not used to banish.

Your car has limited itself to 3000rpm to protect itself from damage due to an existing fault.

When you scan the car, you will know exactly what is wrong then proceed to fix it.

So when next you drive, don't give too much gas so that you will not be disturbed with the jerk. Note that you are also limited to about 65mph.

He rough handled me on my first visit to his house, claims to want a serious relationship. Can he really be serious about being serious or he is just a play boy?

So I met this guy about two weeks ago close to my street. He calls but I hardly pick. Eventually, I picked and he asked if he could pick me after work and we hangout. I accepted. He picked me up after work last week Friday. He was quite interesting and funny, he talked freely like he had known me for years but he was really so touchy, I had barely spent 5 minutes in the car and he was already touching my shoulder and even when we were inside the bar, he tried tickling me, at a point, he put his hands close to my waist, I removed it. We both discussed if we had someone we are currently seeing, I am not seeing anyone which is the truth, he said there is an Ex but they just have sex and she has her own relationship. When he was dropping me off, he asked for a close hug, I hugged him and he wanted to pull me closer and kiss. I broke free and got down. He said I am not nice.

Well, we met again on Monday, I took just water intentionally. This time I minded the distance between us. He wanted to see again on Tuesday, I declined. Then at work yesterday, he asked to see after closing. I told him he can come briefly to my work and we can talk a bit in the car and part ways. He said he would like to host me at his house instead, I declined.

Anyway, he came, I got in and he started driving and saying, I will know his house today and besides his phone battery his low. My mood changed immediately and he tried to guilt trip me and said okay should we stop on the road and get a place to charge his phone. I then told him to continue driving to his house. He stopped on the way and got snacks. We got into his house. It was nice and neat.

Then we were watching a movie, he sat down and placed my leg on his, I was cool with this. Then he made moves to kiss and I declined and pulled away. All of a sudden, he started breathing fast, hugged me so tight and kissed me despite I kept pulling away and didn't kiss back. I am weak when it comes to my Bosom, then he got there and gave me the roughest and painful squeezing I have ever experienced. I haven't been with any man in about 7 months now, I am single and It's hard for me to do a little thing as even kissing randomly. So he got me there when he got to my bosom but it took only just few seconds to snap out. He continued panting and begging for me to reciprocate, he is so hard and hasn't felt this way in a while.

I told him I don't want this, he went in frustrated, stamping his feet, I tot he had agreed, only for him to come back naked and saying okay, he has heard no sex and "I don't want to force you", so he asked for a dry hump and wanted me to turn my back. I didn't. He still kept breathing hard, like he wont survive the next minute. Then he started begging for a Mouth Action. I declined and told him I wasn't up for that. I tried pulling, away and getting angry. He became even more aggressive, removed the hands I used to protect my chest and forced his way into my bra. It was a struggle and then back to begging till I made it clear in a thunder voice for him to stop and take me home.

Then he agreed, wore his cloths and kept complaining that I don't know what I have caused and he wont be himself. We left his house and he tried stopping at a Pharmacist and said he needs to get ibuprofen, then he didn't stop again and just continued driving.

This morning, he is apologizing and repeating the things he said when we got to his house that he wants something serious with me and he wants us to start something and want it to work out. He asked to come see me at work today but I declined. With this red flags, is there a possibility that he is truly serious like he said? Or he is just doing the usual lies to get the cookie and go away. He has a nice ride and nice house, I suspect he may have girls around him. My concern isn't all these, I just want to be with a serious man who is in for commitment and not just sex.

He rough handled me on my first visit to his house, can he be sincere about wanting to be serious?

My Avensis is manual transmission though and as a matter of fact, I have never been to a mechanic since I acquired it so I am sort apprehensive as I don't want any trial and error job on the car. What exactly should I do or tell the mechanic I want done?

Like i said, you probably have a worn inner CV joint aka inner cup. Tell him you have vibration during acceleration and you suspect the inner cup. Make sure you are ready to replace when he inspects and find a bad one.

You should not point to either side as the culprit, inspect both and replace as your mechanic will guide you. The job entails removing both drive shafts.

The key thing here is that you make sure you replace the boots if bad and make sure they are well tied after the job.

One very important info, he should not pull out the inner cup from the gear box in less than 1hr after driving. It sounds like a myth but it does jinx the gear box. I wouldn't know for sure for a manual but its better to be safe than sorry.

The hardest part for me is for husband having kids in the picture.

Children affect everything in marriage.

All the fun is taken away unless the couple are very understanding and can find getaways to keep the relationship alive.

Children affect sex, priorities, finances, free time, and even love.

my mech says we should buy another one.
someone suggested it can by sealed perfectly without long term reoccurrence.
I think I prefer a replacement.
pls what's the cost of a new (tokunbo) evaporator.
Any idea please?

Either buy a new one or fix the one you have but leave toks out of the option.

Don't forget if its new, you will need to add PAG oil.

I live about 15 mins drive from a Copart garage, and about 2 hours drive from another. I would never even look up cars in their garage just 2 hours from me, because I don't want any unnecessary stress and expense for my self. First thing to check is the location you are bidding on. Op learnt the hard way.

Just ignore the truck its not worth it.
Do not mind those people asking you to pay $400 dollars to Copart for an account that's likely not a dealer/paid account. Your account will be barred and you will be unable to bid on any cars. You can get a new account using different Names, addresses and details. An assessor would most likely go through your new account to ensure its not a duplicate before you get your ID number. So be sure that you are providing totally different details. e.g Wifes Name as new account owner.

I saw a thread on nairaland some months ago about this same issue but I can't find it again after numerous searches. I will be grateful if anyone can help me out. Thanks.

First thing is to ensure your rim and tire sizes are exactly the same in the front and in the back. The front should be a perfect pair match and the back another pair match. The front and back can have different sizes but make sure the pair is same at front and back.

Secondly, put the same amount of air pressure in the front pair and the same at back pair.

Thirdly, your mechanic should check for defective control arm bushing, strut height (they should match), tie rod ends (very important) and ball joint. Any bad Item should cause one suspension to have an unstable alignment or camber.

Lastly, you will visit the alignment shop for camber (if you have a MacPherson strut suspension) and alignment adjustment. The problem is, only a few mechanics will know if your camber is correct.

If all is done right and your car still pulls either side, consult your village people.

He probably just placed an innocent minimum bid hoping to be outbidded but ended up the only bidder.

The fact that it was bought brand new or not is not important. What is important is the current state of the car.

Without an employment letter, you can get sacked with no warning or any entitlement. Infact you can be sacked on pay day without a dime.

You can also leave anyday anytime.

The main issue here is that you cannot sue the company nor report them to any authority.

They have plausible deniability on anything that concerns you.

They can send you to represent them but if things go south, you were never their staff.

I just checked the fan, it's blowing normal

Its very difficult to point in a direction but after rulling out cooling fan, leakage/pressure cap (because of the small amount of lost coolant), my remote guess will either be a failed water pump or thermostat stuck close.

To rule out the thermostat, you have to do a small test. At cold start, run the car at idle while you feel the rising temp from the top radiator pipe and the bottom. At first only the top should start warming but 5-10mins later the bottom pipe should be warm or hot. If the bottom pipe is cold after 10 mins, you probably have a stuck close thermostat.

How does it over heat? Does the temp gauge pass the middle? What exactly makes you think the car has overheated.

If water level drops, there must be a leakage. During overheating, you will need to find the leak.

Cooling fans can be working but blowing in the wrong direction which will not be effective.

Not enough information. Also, over heating is broad.

1st things 1st.

Does your coolant level drop? Do you frequently need to add water?

Does your cooling fan rotate? The direction of airflow needs to be confirmed.

If these are well, you need to confirm if the thermostat is still in the car and if it is stuck close.

Then confirm if your water pump actually works.

My Toyota highlander is giving me serious headache,the check engine light and the VSC light is on.I did a scan and I got this error code:

P0020
A camshaft position actuator circuit /open bank 2.

Im really scared of engaging the roadside mechanics as they may do more harm to the vehicle.
Has anyone experience such issue before?
Can I get a good toyota highlander expert that can fix this once and for all?

This is fairly easy.

Find the sensor and make sure the connector and wiring is intact.
