Does anyone have any experience with sniffing in a switched network? it's easy in a network that uses hubs but when switches are used, you can't seem to capture any traffic from other hosts. Is there any way you can capture packets from other hosts on the same network without running arp poisoning and other harmful software tricks?

NIIT gives different training to different people and companies. The training the Central bank of Nigeria staff will receive will be different from the same training every other person will receive. In all, NIIT is a waste of money.

You said something that solves your problem 50%. You asked if you need to take your computer to cafe and put it online - the answer to that question is yes. You see, iPODs work very well with i-Tunes and they are tightly integrated.

What you need to do is restore your iPOD to default settings and you need to be online to do this. Your iPOD should have a manual to help you with this, if not go to http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/family/ and select the type of problem that you are having.

You can import any songs from CDs to your iTunes library and copy them to your iPOD or you can get any MP3 songs into your i-tunes and copy them to your iPOD as well. I hope this helps you.

1. Does your sound card work on linux? - When you installed linux, did your sound card work. If it does then you shouldn't have issues installing.
2. What GUI are you using i.e GHOME or KDE?
