Pls where can i get it in Lagos

We stock flushable and reusable nappy liners in our online shop.

The flushable one comes in a roll of 100 pcs.

If only wee, You can gently hand wash them or machine wash IF using a laundry mesh bag. ( It keeps it from disintergrating) and reuse at least once before discarding.

Please find link below:

Any questions please feel free to holla.

A friend of mine has three children one nine, the other seven and the last aged five or so. We were chatting the other day and she says her children are in bed daily by 7.30pm. I was wowed is that even possible ? In this Lagos!!!

She's got a nanny and a maid though so she has some help but still that she can coordinate herself that well is superb to me.

Let's explore this today..

The beef I currently have for this your friend ehn!! undecided it has graduated to suya!

HOW THE $#&!%÷+ DOES SHE DO IT??!!!

Our bed time is roughly 20:30 as that is when I would have had time for dinner, maybe dishes, have a bit of a breather etc. ( no help so I cannot come and go and die oh jare)

Any time earlier is impossible except on the days dd gets home super tired from nursery (no nap) and I can manage to give a quick bath and half a meal before she plonks off.

If not I let her do a 30 mins to 1 hr "power" nap. Wake her up for dinner a bath and we go back to bed.

When we get to bed We will do some prayers, Then read a book or / and sing like 20 nursery rhymes. undecided. Before madam will enter under duvet. I usually hang about in the room either on my phone or lap top till she sleeps off. Usually by 21:30.

So i have then till 23:00 to do all other stuff before I go to bed myself.

Good afternoon mama's... please I have a question.

Is it compulsory you use a white coloured gown for christening/naming a baby girl? what if it's a mixture of white & any other colour?
cc: all mama's, TIA.

For christening/ naming it doesn't matter, however if you are doing a baptism, then white is the norm as it symbolises Christ washing away all your sins and making you pure.

Oh, thank you all so much for the imput. I appreciate everyone who responded to me.

Hubby also wasn't too thrilled about the shit part in the machine.

First of all let me warn you, they say i dey write plenty Oh! Older members may have mentioned it you, if not... well consider yourself warned.... grin grin grin

To use a machine to wash your diapers:

●You do a rinse cycle first,

●Then a hot wash - max. 60 degrees

●Then do an extra rinse.

If you are exclusively breast feeding, the poop is completely water soluble. So not an issue it will rinse right out. .

Even for formulae feeding it still gets it out. you could do more intensive wash ( not higher than 60 degrees oh or you will ruin your waterproof products)

Washing poop diapers is no different from washing clothes that had a poo explosion or leak on it.

My hubby was the same when we started using nappies at first. To ease his worry I tend to do a maintenance wash on the machine like every 6 weeks ( We should generally be doing this regarly to ensure the insides of the machines are kept clean anyways)

To do a maintenance wash, you wash at your hottest cycle ( 90 degrees). I sometimes use a sanitizer in the wash or add a generous helping of white vinegar to the wash with some normal detergent, Some people add a bit of bleach and let it wash EMPTY. This will help freshen your machine.

As tatacherie mentioned, you can use nappy liners for poop these are more efficient when you start solids however I have always used them even since the pre-weaning days. (As I have always been precious of my nappies not staining)

It catches the worst of the poo. And you just then flush the soiled liners.

I also tend to rinse out poopy diapers and i spray with a very diluted laundry liquid before putting it in the machine or storing it till you are ready to wash.

I know people who can't be bothered with all the above serenren and they have not had any issues.

So it's really not that bad. Considering that if you are lucky you may not even have to wash poop every day, if your baby doesn't poop that often.

Good evening mamas. First post alert.

I'm an expectant mom, with about 8weeks to go. I've done majority of my shopping, I'm left with diapers and wipes and co.

So i was doing my research online on diapers and stumbled upon washable diaper clothes, not the old type we used as kids o.

My question now is has anybody here used it? How is it like? Is it really machine friendly? Cos i need it to save diaper cost o. Pls just enlighten me.

Thank you

Ogun is the Yoruba god of iron, metallurgy and warfare.

Ogundele means ogun has come (to ones) home. Literally

You can substitute the ogun with other words like
Ayo - joy
Olu - God
Ola - wealth
