My relationship is 6yrs old and we are getting stronger by the day with mutual love and respect.

She was 18 and I was 24 when we started but I think what earned me her love and respect was how I stepped up and lead like a leader.

First, I was a fresh jobless graduate living in a face me I face you. When I approached her she blatantly told me that relationship was last thing on her mind, to cut long story short we began, I am her first boyfriend.

As usual she said no sex till marriage and I agreed, sex was the last thing on my mind because to me I want to marry.

I pushed her to become a better person, instead of sitting and waiting for admission, I pushed her to learn a skill, thought her alot and I am not only her advisor but also her confidant. 3yrs we dated and kept building ourselves many people even her parents and friends didn't want me around because they felt as guys do I would just eat and clean mouth but I kept assuring her that I am in for good.

It's been 6yrs down the line and everyone that doubted are now in the believe, her parents, siblings , friends, uncles etc plus Mine already see themselves as in-laws.... We have good relationship and have also built our finances too.

Till date I still do the things I used to do when we newly started, I pick her from work, I still take lunch to her in the office, we still gist, never have they been insults, infidelity etc, just vibes and love

When I gained admission into IMT Enugu back then in 2011, if you were familiar with that school then you will remember how over populated it was... During registration we were asked to do Medical one of which was genotype and on a specific location was picked (campus 2). When I got there the crowd was too much and they took my sample and after one month I went for my result and it came out AS.

When I returned for HND, I went for another genotype test but this time in a quiet place and it came out AA. I was confused, as in Shey genotype dey change ni.

I went on with those two confusing results until I met my fiancee, I know she is going to be my wife so I didn't want stories, she is AS so to know our compatibility I went for a third test and it came out AA again.

5yrs down the line, time to make the relationship permanent, I had to conduct a 4th test and it came out AA again

Just work on your finances and once you get to that stage where you can afford to eat anything you like, you will grow fat and big even without eating.

As a salary earner I was skinny because I was always calculating my expenses and rationing it so I don't go broke before month end. My waist size was 31 - 32 then.

I left that job and moved to where I get daily money, more comfortable and a better pay. Even with increased stress I am still adding wait. I can eat what I want and when I want. I was surprised when I checked my waist size and it's 36 now

For me, I was an office worker on a 60k salary a month but I wasn't satisfied, while on the job I was still attending interviews until one day I decided to quit and used my little savings to start up something. As a salary earner surviving on 60k per month I saved rigorously to start a POS business which my girlfriend was helping me to manage in her mom's shop then. The POS couldn't function like it did since my babe went to school and her mom focused on her husband who took ill. Any time I feel hungry I eat but these days I am adding too much and have reduced the rate I eat.

I bought a 2002 Toyota Camry as my first car in October and for the first 2-3 months the car performed pretty well.

However lately, from January it has been one problem to the other.

From overheating to coil problem to spark plug problem and others.

The recent issue with the car is that the car doesn’t hold slow anymore.

That is the car goes off at slow speeds. I’ve changed coil, changed spark plug, ringed engine twice all to no avail.

This has caused a huge hole in my pocket as I’ve even had to borrow to pay for some of these repairs.

Just yesterday in a bid to resolve this issue, I took the car to another mechanic and he told me my engine block had washed and that even if he grinded the valve the holding slow issue won’t stop. I inquired about the cost of replacing the block and purchase alone was close to a 100 thousand. I’m just tired and frustrated, I need advise, do I sell the car or do I repair this?

Is this mechanic trying to extort me. Experience car users please advise

Put that car up for sale and within a week you will sell it almost same amount you bought it.

That car engine is going and the more you spend on it the more you will keep spending.

Cars are expensive now especially Toyota products.

State the problem with the car and put the price you go sell am.

Because once u fix that stuff next engine go pack up.

I had this senior in ss3 (I was in jss2) that hated me so much. Like this guy would flog me for no reason. I think he was the Labour prefect then and always gave me the hardest job. I was still very little then but well known by most teachers because my dad was the PTA chairman in our school. Teachers hardly flogged me, most of the perfects didn't have that time but seems like that dude took a special interest in me and was always bullying and beating me.

Fast forward to several years later, I was already in my 4th year In school waiting to enter my final year, this dude I saw him among students processing their registration. He just secured admission into year one and held his files like a newbie.

I saw him and was surprised. Ahhh no be senior KC be that, I told my friends.

He saw me and we exchanged greetings. This time not as junior and senior but in a guy guy level. He told me he was trying to complete his registration and I had to teach him how to boycott some processes to speed up things (sorting cos that school if u follow protocol u fit die).

We related well, no harsh feelings, no payback, back then we reasoned like kids so I didn't used that against him because life can happen to anyone.

It's been 8yrs since I graduated and served but with covid and ASUU palava I think he should either be in his final year now or currently serving

I don't post my private life on social media.

I don't post birthdays, I don't post any achievements, I don't post siblings or celebrate anything on social media. I use social media strictly for business and for cruise.

Before I met my present girlfriend, I met others who felt I didn't love them enough to post them on social media. I told them do not take our private life online and don't post me because I won't post you. They wanted to define my feelings for them by my social media activities, so we splitted.

Presently, I am in a relationship with lovely lady, 29th of May will make us 5yrs together. We love each other so much and understand ourselves. She barely come on facebook (just whatsapp), she doesn't post and I don't post her. Many pple still think I am single because I only introduced her to the most important people in my life.

My family and close friends. My sister has taken her like her younger sister, my mom is fond of her and my brothers are very free with her even the wives married into my family know her.

On the other hand, her parents are cool with me, we even talk on phone, her siblings jump at me whenever they see me, her uncles know me, even her cousins.

It's been 5yrs, I have never posted her online but we share deep bond together, I also don't play games because I am too busy for that, everyone knows.

Next year, definitely we will become man and wife, still not a single pix of our wedding will be posted online, except the ones friends snap and post by them selves.

I lost my brother early last month and I have been unsettled and paranoid. He visited us a day before and he was healthy and hearty only for us to hear of his death the next day which was on Sunday.

He was admitted in the Hospital, on the bases that he was short of blood. He took 4/5 pants of blood and stayed 1/2 weeks before he was discharged and that only made him live for a month or so.

I want to know more about his death, exactly what happened. His wife is someone who didn't relate well with us (in laws) and she distanced my brother from us, while he objectively did as well.

This wife didn't visit my mum throughout her stay in the hospital for more than 3 months before my mum passed on a year ago. When I visited the hospital where my brother was rushed to being the same place he was admitted, they told me that he must have been bothered about somethings, and that the drugs he was given parts were hypertensive, that he stopped taking the drugs and all those excuses.

I was informed by the nurses that my brother has been suffering from insomnia, he hardly sleeps in nights and if he does, it's just few hours. All these things, the wife didn't tell us anything.

Now, I want to take the fight to her. I need her to tell me exactly what transpired, how did it happen! She's been in 40 days mandatory sit-at-home stuff and I can't wait to sit her ass down and interrogate her.

I wonder why some guys get married or consider getting married to their classmates. Most classmates are agemates, I can never get married to my agemate. Most women age faster than men, later in life your wife would look like your elder sister or mum.


I met some of my secondary school classmates sometime ago, you won't even believe we were classmates. They all look more matured than me, fat and all that......My girlfriend even called one aunty . I know I will also call their husbands bros because I am very sure they'll be far older than me.

1. Toyin - She was my former classmate and friend back in school. She currently works in a bank as a CFC Agent. We met late last year during our school old student get together, we exchanged contact and kept in touch regularly. Our vibes have been good and encouraging. At 27yrs you are too young for that marriage.... Don't argue with me on this, in Nigeria as we speak the marriage bracket for guys starts from 30yrs up. Don't fall for silly pressure from ladies to tie you down.

Just 3yrs difference is too close, once she starts giving birth she will appear like your big sister and will challenge the hell out of you.

Look around any age gap should begin from 7yrs and above. My Mom isn't dramatic at all. Very simple woman without issue. Same applied to my dad. They never raised their hands on us, infact I grew up not knowing what it means to be flogged OR punished. I never saw them quarreled for one single day

My dad is late now, I am in my early 30s, my mom is in Her early 70s yet no drama.

When you visit, she just welcomes you then sit down and talk about mostly her Zion ministry which I find funny at times.
