I know 50 people who weren't in SA that need this job. We needs to send a patriotic message when it matters. It helps restore belief in one's country. If 400 employers create 50 sustainable jobs for returnees from Libya, SA and others it will go a long way restoring hope. State govt can also help with indigenous returnees to their states. As for FG, I nor just wan talk at all. |

They become totally invisible to the public later that some even say it's only for show.
I would not be surprised if security bosses leave many unserviced and divert some to become private farm trucks. |

franchasng: They are shouting Buhari because this is when a President that loves his citizen and country act to win more citizens to his side and to also gain international recognition and respect for his nation.
Did you watch the black American guy arrested in Norway last month and how Donald Trump took it upon himself even though the guy in question is a black who is not even a native American but someone that acquired US citizenship at adulthood.
He even sent private jet to bring the guy home. That is how a real President of a nation acts.
Buhari ought to have given a live press briefing on this matter and as soon as he heard about SA government stopping some Nigerians trying to leave through government approved evacuation of Nigerian citizens, he ought to send Nigerian Airforce jet with some Nigerian military on board to at least tell the world that we are not a push over nation even if for nothing else.
Life is about packaging. You need good packaging to succeed in life, and that's what has been sustaining US and European nations which China and others have also learnt and its working perfectly for them.
Buhari is just a big mistake that ought not to have happens, he is too bad to rule even a local community I was wondering if we have no viable military Jets able to evacuate Nigerians from abroad at any time. I would have thought that was part of our defence system. But we had to wait for a private airline to volunteer. Not rubbishing Bubu's effort o. Because most Nigerian leaders of the past would be just as sluggish as Buhari. Except maybe Abacha. |

He's still rich. It's just that he could have had a better career. Fiorentina is still a decent club playing in Serie A. I believe he'll be fine. If he can kick the habits that reduced his overall success. One may acknowledge it but entirely kicking it can be tough. The state of his finances might not be the best now. And realises that in the 2 to 4 years left of his career, a big club move might not be forthcoming anymore.. But he can still earn a decent pension in China or Middle East in that time. |

Well, I can understand FFK's feelings about events in SA. But fact is we should have seen this happening well before it did.
Our HC there has a duty to know. I guess we have a security/military attache there. It's not about attending lavish parties and chasing the ample ikebe of SA women. It's serious work to anticipate security risk to your country and citizens where you are located.
FG past and present has slept on duty for too long regarding bad treatment of Nigerians abroad. Once a typical black man gets VIP treatment somewhere, his compatriots can be battered with baton as a welcome greeting, he doesn't care.
We cannot seize any business because it's bad for future FDI. A country that cannot run a chicken coop has no business running any serious business. Civil servants will run them aground like Nigeria Airways, universities, museums, hospitals, etc.
We can impose high taxes on them and use the money to compensate Nigerian victims instead & possible diplomatic sanctions. |
Family › Re: Children Of "Deadbeat" Fathers. Time To Think. by AreaFada2: 9:09pm On Sep 08, 2019 |
1Sharon: Lool..I disagree with this. Its boys that empathise with the mums more, whereas the girls wont succumb the mothers brainwashing.
Its nature. The boys protect the women/mothers and the dads protect the girls.
Some men admit they do prefer female children.
When men are faced with another man that's someone they can fight and antagonize but women are less of a threat My dear, I am talking from what I have seen korokoro many times. If the man was truly abusive and the kids witnessed it, sure boys might even fight their dad. But where no kids have any first hand experience of the alleged "evil" of their dad, boys go out more to find their dad later. I stated it in my post. Despite their mother's brainwash. In any case once the girls marry and follow their men, they hardly care. I remember one case close to home. A man sent his wife to further her education after they had several kids. It was her dream to finally get the education she missed out on due to poor economic background. Upon getting her degree she moved out to live with another man. All the daughters went with her. Only the boy refused to follow. Her relatives and in-laws were stunned. She could not explain why she was leaving. They advised her to stay but no way. A few years later the new lover kicked her out. She begged to return to first hubby but no way. All her daughters have failed marriages now too. Only the boy is happily married. |

XhosaNostra: Lol, I have this thing...I'm not sure what to call it (an aura perhaps?) that makes people do & say weird things. I cannot speak of social media experiences because I'm not big on that. However, I could write a book on the craziest things I've seen & heard in my waking life.
One time I was having a random conversation with a tattoo artist in my area. Out of the blue, he asked if I wanted to see his penìs tattoo & before I could grasp out a response, Jack was already out of the pulpit. It was just bizarre. I didn't find that particular incident annoying though. What I find annoying is the fact that people seem to feel (free?) enough around me to say & do inappropriate things. I'm not talking only about people I'm acquainted with (like the tattoo guy), but also random strangers I don't know from Adam. I've seem more penìses than a whòrehouse wench. Strangely enough, this didn't start now. We moved from my early childhood home because my father beat up a neighbour for exposing himself to me. I believe I was 8 or 9 at the time. It has happened so often that now I almost expect it & that's the annoying part of it. Hahahahaha. This post really crack me up. Once a marriage crashes and the woman has custody of the kids, in over 90% of cases the kids will never have a balanced view of their dad.
If all your kids are girls, very sorry. Most girls will empathize with their mother only. Demonisation of father goes into full swing. Especially if mother says their dad cheated or abused her physically. Mostly if the kids were too young to remember anything from time together. At least more boys will seek to know dad better.
Very useful piece here. |

You didnt even say rip to dead guy, you and everyone else talking about the baby southafrican looks and his diaper. Shame on you areafada. Haba! I said RIP on at least in two other posts about him already. Enough wishes to last eternity. There are occasions you go with a kid or when he's not too "bubbly" as usual, you just use diaper as a precaution. It doesn't mean the child has not been toilet trained already. |
Crime › Re: Identity Of A Nigerian Man Killed In South Africa Mayhem Emerges(photos) by AreaFada2: 5:45am On Sep 08, 2019 |
ImperialYoruba: Stop encouraging nonsense. Go to page 1 and look at the picture of the man carrying the baby. The child is already half the size of the grown man, thats why i called him half-man. Child that huge should not wear diaper. Do you people know why kids are put in diaper?
Children are put in diaper because of their immobility. They will urinate and shit where they are because they dont know where to go to release body waste. Once a child start walking on their own they can now be taught the location of toilet and what to do when waste need to come out.
At that size this half-man is already walking. Why has he not been taught how to bring his preek out? Do you also notice he is carried? Why? Why not put him in a stroller?
They cant put him in stroller because his feet will drag ground. He is oversized.
Stop encouraging nonsense. This is how ajebutter start. Over pampering and hyped elitism in a ghetto lifestyle. So if he's ajebutter, is it your ajebutter? You can make your own ajepako na. Wash him with Dudu Osun, feed him akpu from age of 3 months, put blended efor riro in his feeding bottle when two weeks old and fura da nunu as baby milk, who cares? Make him walk from Modakeke to Okitipupa from age of 15 months if you want, na your choice o. The dead guy will not give a horse's dump. He's not doing anything illegal so let other people be. Your fellow busybody people will also have things to say against style no matter how you raise your own. |
