why would the UK,US or Russia want to destroy the country, besides isn't the country already destroyed by US?.
these same Taliban was created by CIA to fight the Soviets in the 80s, US created the monster, same as other terror groupshuh
No they (US) did not create the Taliban.
In fact they did not create any group.
The US/Britain allegedly 'supported' the Mujahideen NOT the Taliban in the 70s against communist USSR. Support is not the same as creating a group.

If any international body decides to throw in support for any of the raging seccession groups in Nigeria today, would it be right to say that such international body/country created the succession group?

The Former Afghanistan President wasn't committed to his country. Stories of Ghost soldiers in their forces/corruption also abound.
In short, the government wasn't serious.

Islamic Banking is even better than the western banking, they rarely charge interest, and lots of stress free opportunities when it comes to borrowing of loan for projects, they will always be there to support you.

So for some ignorant people saying another way of islamising Nigeria.

Should just stfu for fvck sake.
True. They don't take interest . But they share profits.
Still similar. Both traditional banking and Islamic takes a cut from your loan endeavours one fixed. The other varied.

God does not even require that a one who claims to be a Christian marry another who claims to be a Christian either. undecided

In Luke 20 vs 34 - 36, Jesus Christ all but announced that marriages are of this world and have nothing to do with the Kingdom of God. So whoever you want to and chose to marry, na for here e go begin and for here on earth it will end.. undecided
It is true that marriage is of this world but you would want to have a relatively happy life while IN the world right?

Professions, choice of cars, foods, friends are also lifetime matters but they make our lives here better. So we act wisely in making these choices still.

Doctrines are different from Administrative rules.
Organisations have standard and procedures for various operations. When you belong to the organisation you follow the process and procedures .
Absence of procedures will mean everyone doing it his or her own way and orderliness will be lacking.
So let's not mix up doctrines with administrative procedures. Every Church I guess have there marriage procedures.
You're right except however that this has to do with the personal life of an individual with lifetime implications too.

These 'Administrative rules' while well intended run the risk of overreaching in their decisions. Who bears the brunt of this decisions — the couple.
The suggestion that marriage committees are the ONLY way to foster orderliness in God's church does not cut it as there were no marriage committees in the bible (as we know it today).
Even when Jesus Christ was invited to a marriage in the bible he was invited as a guest NOT a moderator.

Most churches point to rules /orderliness as some of the reasons for durable marriages in their denominations. While this may be true. Some non-christian societies/countries also have durable marriages too with few divorces — in fact divorces are a taboo as amongst christians (e.g. India, SriLanka etc.).

My point is that a true christian would be orderly in his marriage plans without a committee. The committee thing looks to me as an institution for standardization of practice than a truly spiritual. endeavor. Even the G.S. has criticized their practices a few times in DL.

May God help us.

Most times God works from both ends when it comes to the will of God in marriage . Gen 24:12-14. If one cannot pray and wait for God to direct him or her. There is no need going to tell the committee lies that God led you to someone. Just tell them you like the person for marriage and don't be surprised that God can still work it out for you. We need to learn to depend on God in this life. If we learn to always depend on God we will not make mistakes and the good Lord will prosper us. Shalom.
Does God tell people specific people to get married to? Or does he just require that who Christians get married to are children of God as his only requiment?

I Cor 7 v 39 shows Paul's message to widows to marry whom they will as long as in the lord" . If widows are given the only Godly requirement of marrying christians, why do christian nowadays add the extra burden of marrying that one person who God has 'specified'.

God help us.

A sister was so sure this bro was the one. You could see the excitement and all. Marriage committee ask bro how far, bro said nothing clear.
Sister was broken. See ehn, these things happens every now and then, and it's one of the contributing factors why some persons are even not sure of what they know to be true again.
The basics of this whole thing about finding a partner should be that the said partner actually knows God on a personal level. That's it!
As far as kingdom is concerned, God have many sons and daughters, and they're not only in a particular denomination (na church doctrine bring all this limitation), them yapa! Find the one that fits your spec, as far they're saved and love Jesus, take the next step. That's what marriage committee is supposed to be for, I guess.
You intentions are pure but the world has become more complicated.
The same reason why we have different denominations In the world today -i.e. christians don't necessarily believe the same things (both major & minor) — is the same reason why inter-denominational marriages aren't encouraged.

While the marriage committee institution was/is, I believe, born out of good intentions, they (in most churches) would overreach in some decisions too.
Those so kin on marriage here should know that it has its many problems too.

May God help us.

True but whether or not a strong personality /country is behind the takeover may not be as important as Afghan authorities not being committed to their country.

In the late 1990s a man named Ahmad shah Mansood stood against the Talibans with much less

I pity all the Southerners in the army and those who are still joining. It's obvious they can't read the handwriting on the wall, that they're nothing but guinea pigs in this so-called warfare. The Fulani Muslim terrorists are gradually making moves to increase their own (Fulani Muslims) number of soldiers against 2023. Or do you think Fulani can cede power to the south without blood and sweat?

These "repentant Boko Haram terrorists" are no different from the Fulani Muslim soldiers in the army; they speak the same language and pursue the same goal albeit using different routes. It will be laughable to believe the federal government is not behind these moves.

PS: ignore the clueless guy above me.
Are you sure of your claims?

Since the inception of Boko Haram ~2010 Core northerners have suffered more than any other group from their onslaught.
I'm talking displaced villagers, LGAs, towns.
There have also been more northern casualties than any other group. Let's not even go into Civilian Vigilante groups that risk & lose lives on the field.

Of the thousands of IDPs in the north today, how many are southerners? The towns BH ruled over & maimed disobedient villagers — how many were of the south?

Anyone who doesn't see that the north has suffered more from BH is not being sincere.

Besides since you said Fulanis are as powerful politically as you suggest, why didn't they win the 2011 presidential election for Buhari?

You have a good profile.
Have you done your Professional qualification?

If not (maybe for funds) are you aware that ICAN gives scholarships to first class students?

Also you may want to streamline your pursuits. Too many pursued is none caught. I.e. You'll definitely lack depth in any one area.

Pick an area of focus for your tech interests. Be it Data Analytics, web development, Cyber security, etc.

For scholarships, You may want to be more open.

Russia has open doors scholarships into nice institutions like HSE University & St Petersburg state university.
Belgium has KU Leuven.

Are you surprised?

We were far more productive in 1980 than we are today

In 1980 the key reasons for economic growth were are as follows:

1) We were a net exporter of refined petroleum products. Today we import all our refined petroleum products.

2) We rode in locally assembled cars, buses and trucks. Peugeot cars in Kaduna and Volkswagen cars in Lagos.

Leyland in Ibadan and ANAMCO in Enugu produced our buses and trucks.

Steyr at Bauchi producing our Agricultural tractors.

And it was not just Assembly, we were producing many of the components.

Vono products in Lagos producing the seats.

Exide in Ibadan producing the batteries, not just for Nigeria but for the entire West Africa.

Isoglass and TSG in Ibadan producing the windshields.

Ferodo in Ibadan producing the brake pads and discs

Tyres produced by Dunlop in Lagos and Mitchelin in Portharcourt.

And I mean tyres produced from rubber plantations located in Ogun and Cross Rivers State.

3) We were listening to Radio and watching television sets assembled in Ibadan by Sanyo.

4) We were using refrigerators, freezers and Airconditioners produced by Thermocool and Debo.

5) We were putting on clothes produced from the UNTL textile mills in Kaduna and Chellarams in Lagos.

Not from imported cotton but from cotton grown in Nigeria.

6) Our water was running through pipes produced by Kwalipipe in Kano and Duraplast in Lagos .

7) Our toilets were fitted with WC produced at Kano and Abeokuta.

We were cooking with LPG gas stored inside gas cylinders produced at the NGC factory in Ibadan.

9) Our electricity was flowing through cables produced by the Nigerian wire and Cable, Ibadan, NOCACO in Kaduna and Kablemetal in Lagos and Portharcourt.

10) We had Bata and Lennards producing the shoes we were putting on

Not from imported leather but from locally tanned leather at Kaduna.

11) We were mainly flying our airways, the Nigeria Airways, to most places in the world.

The Airways was about the biggest in Africa at that time.

12) Most of the food we ate were being grown or produced in Nigeria.

We were producing all of the above and more in 1980

Today, we import almost everything.

There lies the source of the terrible exchange rate we are experiencing today and everybody reading this has a critical role to play in reversing this very UGLY trend.

We have been talking about these problems and more for ages...

It is not enough for us to complain about the exchange rate or point out what others are not doing or are failing to do, the key question is what are we producing or what are we planning to produce?

Going forward, it's time to ponder and think of the way forward before it's TOO LATE.

What solutions do you have in mind?
Wow. Really sad.

Thanks for this challenge.

Well this isn't true for most brilliant scholars — That a scholar would be able to answer exams excellently & be in exam mode ALL the time /at short notice—They may score well (above average) but not as good, perhaps, as they would with preparation.

Someone able to answer any exam questions(I am guessing not the same already answered before), anyday, anytime in his field would be a rare type of genius.
First class students aren't always geniuses.
In most Nigerian institutions, any combination of equal parts — Averagely weighted—As and Bs in all your modules would give you a First class. This can be achieved by a few non-geniuses.

However, I am not against giving the student here a retest/re-examination. No. I am just saying almost none of us is a walking, exam-ready student prepared for any/all college courses. That's why we prepare.

Data science (I love to call it Advanced analytics) would be more profitable to those who also have subject matter expertise (Accountants, Engineers, Lawyers, Pharmacists, Doctors, Salespeople, etc) to match their technical chops.

For those keen on a learning path,
I have seen no better than:
https://practicum.yandex.com/data-scientist/
If you have the money.
It's like a compressed Masters Programme.

For everything else just buy books on Packt publishing or Manning.

For those in the management sciences get a good book on Business Statistics. Fundamentals are key.
If not download the free textbook by Danielle Navarro - Learn Statistics with R.
With this you achieve 2 goals, Learn Statistics & become proficient in R.
Ken Black's Business Statistics is also Perfect.

SQL - Check Packt publishing
Python- Check Packt too.
But remember that these are just tools. The aim (ultimately) is to help clients derive value from their data.

Certifications are key nowadays since clients don't know any better.
I'll keep reading too.

Your point is understandable but not really strong because Kyari is an ENFORCEMENT officer of the law. Not a Judge.

If Kyari is asked to arrest him and he refuses, other officers would take over from there.
The big question is if the Public prosecutors (i.e. the government counsel) can hold a case against him & if the Judiciary would be unbiased.

Arrest is no big deal. Every Big political figure in Nigeria that is worth his salt would probably have been arrested at one time or the other.

It's also remarkable to celebrate success (beyond the genders).
But if we were to do an academic exercise, an MBA is not an academic Masters, and as such may have its curriculum designed to accommodate 'experienced managers' - this program often brush-through what the student are already familiar with.
Having said that, an undergraduate program in any field is considered thorough and directed at preparing professionals/executives who would use their learning to propel their fields/industry.

Juxtaposing a BPharm holder climbing the ladder in Banking simply because she possessed an MBA with say a BSc Financial Studies holder heading a Pharmaceutical company (even if he holds a PGD in the Health Sciences) helps to provide a good grasp of the picture of this argument.

But, since this is Naija where competence is a secondary consideration in making appointments, I can't but wish the Woman a successful tenure...

BTW no be she dey trade divorce papers with her husband recently?
This is not always true.

I.e. Assessing competence based solely on one's first degree.

Aspen is one of Africa's (Homegrown) Largest Pharmaceutical companies.
It was founded(not just the MD) by Stephen Saad. He is an accountant.

You may say that is South African.
In Nigeria, Fidson Pharmaceuticals, another successful firm, was founded by Fidelis Ayebae. He is a trained Civil Engineer.
Erastus Akingbola founded & led a bank in the early 2000s. He wasn't a university graduate (not bashing him. He probably has done greater than I'll may do).

My point: Truly Great people define their professions. They transcend it. Conversely anyone who is purely defined [just] by boundaries of his/her profession, is/would be limited in life.

Ask yourself, were those who drew up the first university BPharmacy degree curriculum Pharmacist themselves?

Besides the same is also true in Pharma.
One of the largest Pharmaceutical companies in Africa — Aspen — has been led /founded by Stephen Saad, himself an accountant. Does he produce the drugs?

Nigeria's own Fidson pharmaceuticals was created by Fidelis Ayebae who is a Civil Engineer by training.
He still leads the company today.
