My rich uncle later became the poorest, died of High Blood Pressure, his wife ruined his business, she sees demons and evil spirit all the time, so to speak, was able to convince my uncle to sack all his mangers and make her the sole manager of his business.

Something like this nearly happened in my family one Christmas holidays, a long time ago. There was a time my Dad's younger brother was the riches in the family, before he became the poorest and died of poverty.

After they buried their mother, my grandmother, because he brought the largest amount of money his wife became arrogant, was talking down on everybody.

So, one morning devotion my Dad's immediate younger brother who was a pastor and a military man asked my mother to pray for the whole family, but my youngest uncle's wife shouted at my Mum not to dare to pray for us, that my Mum is not Spirit filled, she said a lot of things.

My Uncle immediately forgot he was a pastor, the military man in him told over, he nearly beat my youngest uncle and his wife to pulp that morning, if not that we were begging him in tears.

My Uncle warned the both of them, that the next time they will speak disrespectfully to my parents again, he will personally flog them to death.

Till they died, none of them dared my parents again

My Sister inlaw is as smooth as the devil itself, but I always beat her to her game! Like you said, she says something evil with I smile, Me I no dey smile, I dey give her back to back. After sometime, since she couldn't face me, she started calling my parents to insult them, till my elder sister put a stop to that rubbish!

Recently, I gave her a trailer load of my sharp venomous mouth, she started gathering people to beat me up, but you know, once you are BIGGER, you are BIGGER!

I have seen a lot in life! And I know if care is not taken, we are bound to make our parents mistakes with our own children! I am not supporting his mother or the father you talked about!

I am talking about what is good and acceptable before GOD!

Last year I bailed a Benin boy and a loved one from Slavery in Ghana. Their parents pushed and sent them there, both nearly dead, till I have to pay some hard earning money for their freedom, just for the edo boy's parents to tell him not to come back home, with benz and yahoo money.

Some parents are horrible but the bible said "Honor your parents, so that your day will be long"

Let God deal with the wayward parents, our duty is to honor them, less you will repeat their mistakes with your loved ones

guy forget talk, all these Karma of a thing na scam. Some parents are BAD and they deserve whatever they got from their kids. I know of a father who was in support of his son doing Yahoo. They both enjoyed the proceed realised. Sadly, the son had been apprehended. He had spent close to 8 years in prison. Could you believe the useless father moved on easily as if nothing happened? Why? Because he has other children. He hasn't set his eyes on his so called good son since then o. I learnt he claimed he can't be alive again. You can imagine? This is someone who was engineering the son all because of money. Two of the other son's talked to him concerning what he's doing but the useless father used to shut them up because they don't have money still hustling legitimately. This was a poor father who failed in giving his 5 children at least an average life o. He couldn't send any of the children to school. Now one of his son hate him with passion for destroying his brother's life and abandoning him in prison claiming he's long dead. Are you directly or indirectly saying that good for nothing father do not deserve even more than that from his other children? Are you telling me when his other children grow up and have a family their children too will dispise/hate them? What his own parents didn't do to him, he does it to his own children. Can you imagine this father advising his eldest son to look at his younger brother then doing fine, building a house and taking good care of the family while him (the eldest son) is just like a living dead. He was indirectly encouraging his eldest son to go into crime like his younger brother just to make money and be spending for him. Money the useless father couldn't make before bringing those innocent children to this miserable world. The last son hate him with passion and he always fight him whenever he pissed him off. The last son always wish he could see his brother for once and tell him how his accomplice (their father) moved on so easily as if nothing happened after eating and enjoying all his money then, how his father claimed he's dead and never bothered to visit or look for him because he has other children.

Some parents deserves more than that

My cousin married an Akwa Ibom, they are enjoying their marriage, the lady understands and speaks Igbo very well, only that my aunt, her mother-in-law complains that she does not come close to her, which I noticed this Christmas holidays, if she's not beside her husband, she will be inside her room, she doesn't go near her mother in-law like other daughter in-laws do.


A couple of my friends are married to Akwa Ibom ladies and they are enjoying their marriage.

And from observation, I found out that those of my friends and cousin that married from Akwa Ibom that are enjoying their marriages, their wives have one thing in common, they understand and speak their husband languages: Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa.

But we have all agreed in one thing about our Akwa Ibom wives they are all domineering. If you can live with that you are good to go.

Some body in her small circle is emotionally blackmailing her! Could be her mother, could be her parents, could be her siblings. And being the first child, she is supposed to carry the burden her own parents couldn't carry. Making her feel like a bad person because she is not living up to their stupid expectations.

This is one of the things that destroyed my marriage, madam, always felt bad for living a better life, than most of her friends and siblings, and they made her feel bad for having a better life then, by God's grace. That she told me, that she rather be in the same level with her friends and siblings than above them. So with her hands she destroyed her success to please them.

And I saw how depressed she would be some times, after their useless calls, because they make her feel like a bad person.

This thing does not stop unless your woman decide to stop living in guilt of her parents inability to cater for their family.

Last year we read about a doctor that committed suicide because he failed his exams. I met some one close to the family, and I got the right gist, being the first son, there were a lot of expectations from him, to alleviate the family from poverty, not only the family, but a whole village that contribute to his training as a doctor. Thinking if he passed the exam will bring him promotion at work with more money. When he failed I felt like a failure and ended his life, so is your girl feeling right now.
