But is the news real?

Apart from Naija Twitter or Facebook, has any foreign media outfit carried the news?
I heard $400 million from another source so all in all it may be bogus. But you see, as a Steve Harvey hater that I am, I don’t care. I hope he wears red pant,
black bra and cooks her favorite meal to beg her.
along with his church leaders and family elders and all the rest of the orisirisi nonsense + ingredient that usually follow such advice

Marjorie was a side chic and Steve was cheating his ex with her. Netizens claim Steve is being served the meal he served his ex-wife
He got exactly what he deserved. He did his first wife so so dirty and moved on with side chic. I’m sure fools like you would have been hailing him at that time. Telling us men are polygamous in nature. All “polygamous in nature” men deserve worse than this. They deserve to have all their kids be fathered by strangers. Since they have sworn that they will never uphold the loyalty they promised their wives, they will continue gnashing teeth. Iseee. Please don’t mention me for nonsense again.
She did absolutely nothing that he didn’t deserve.

I no dey do eye service

Not true

If a man dies, the family have Rright to give the lady to a younger guy in the family

They believe if the lady take her children o another man's house in the name of marriage, the children won't get the proper care they deserve. So they'll give the lady to another guy in the family..

I’m in a serious situation. i have been dating this young widow for a while now without any issues.

But From the day I slept with her i have been noticing some things i don’t want to talk about.

Many things have been going through my mind concerning her.

From the igbo/Yoruba and all other cultures in Nigeria. What should a widow do before she start sleeping with another man? Should she returned the bride price?

Because I’m considering cutting ties with her and go for deliverance.

I’m happy to see the men speak out in support of a dad trying to protect his child from another possibly inappropriate man. The message would be received differently if it were to come from women.
It shows that y’all actually know the truth. You just choose who to listen to

Dad is right here 100%

By the way, what's with the mum filming it for social media?

Just imagine this mumu!!!

He is not dictating to the babymama!!

He is protecting his daughter!! Werey!!

So he can't have a say about the safety of their daughter because he didn't marry her mother? huh

As long as he pays child support and has joint parental rights and control, if he doesn't want any man touch his daughter he has the authority

Peanut butter I milled from the Winco store. They have the peanuts in the dispenser and a meal at the end of the dispenser which grinds the peanuts for you.
Nice. I have a Winco near me. I like how they can process your stuff like coffee and grains for you.

Well I have fried peanut I was thinking of using for peanut soup. But I’ve not used fried seed peanut for soup. Only the butter and the fresh ground peanuts. Was wondering how this one might turn out.

Like extra oily maybe 🤔

I saw a gochujang salmon recipe on tiktok that I liked so I made it and it was good. Here’s a similar recipe but for mine, I added everything on a bagel seasoning on it. Both the gochujang and bagel seasoning are from Trader Joe’s but you can find them at other grocery stores as well.

My brother, leave these people that always blame Nigerians. Do you know what it takes to leave your comfort zone, friends and family and Japa to another country?

Who be dey reason Japa and staying permanent in UK before?

Before Oct 14th 2014, one dollar was trading at 165$ (BM). APC came with the threat that if they didn't win, they would run an parallel govt and other useless threats that charged the atmosphere. Investors and businesses started buying dollars to hedge because of this and this drove the price from 165$ to 200$ (BM).

Evil APC on seeing this development started singing 1$ = 1NGN gibberish and some people actually believe this jingo.

They won the election and fast forward yesterday, I bought dollar for 920$. That's from 165$ to 920$ (82% depreciation of your currency in 8yrs).

How do we survive this?

Well someone up there said they can only do the job they got the visa for and those jobs are nonexistent. So I guess …
Toks2008:
Exactly my point.

I'm so sorry to say this but most Nigerians have this annoying entitlement mentality.

If you know what 5years work permit visa can do for you, "paying 10k" to get it is like a child's play compared to what you will benefit. Even if you start from cleaning for £10 an hour, you will still make enough by month end and you can build from there but these dumb Nigerians come to the UK hoping to get white collar jobs.

Many undocumented people in America and UK go into arranged marriages spending about £20k yet fail to secure residence permit and all is in the bid to be able to live and work legally.

This lady who granted this interview is stupid, dumb Nd brainless.

How i wish the home office could do their job and revoke her visa cos she is foolish not to understand that buying that visa is even a crime.

Some Nigerians are just so freaking stupid.

This.

If you’re coming from a place where you’ve graduated 5-10 years waiting for a job and none is coming. You found yourself in a different country where unemployment isn’t as terrible and you have a legal permit to work. Not the “undocumented working under the table” situation, why not grit through it and see if there are jobs you can do? Is it that no one will employ them even though their visa is valid?

Well I can say I know how the uk works but having a work visa sounds like a good opportunity compared to being unemployed where they are coming from

Toks2008:
If only they know that coming to the UK with work permit for 5 years in itself is golden, they will care less if a particular job is waiting for them..

That's their problem. Truth be told, I'm a misogynist too, but not this insecure type. If I'm better than a woman, I have to prove it with "hard evidence", not unnecessary explanations grin, nor with unnecessary envy.

When Chimamanda said it they almost came for her head. But she was right. They want women to be successful but not too successful. Always threading a thin line below which you’re a liability and beyond which your success starts to piss people off because now you can’t be “controlled”. It’s exhausting

Jeferious:
I'm with you on this one. See how people are subtly encouraging women not to make progress in life. For whathuh That is the very height of insecurity.

This is part of the reason why I must marry a rich lady, Inshallah. Someone who can take care of herself with her OWN resources. If you're a mad woman, I would love to see the madness on time. I don't want to be with a pretender "humbled" by poverty. grin grin

Women if you are in a position to improve yourself, don’t do it so that you don’t mistakenly surpass your man. That would be too woke and unnatural. It goes against nature.

If you’re already married and an opportunity comes your way that will make you more money but unfortunately it means your income will now be higher than your husbands income, reject the opportunity. Or get divorced. either way it will ensure you are not in a marriage where your income can exceed your man’s.

Carefully curate your life so that you can have money but never more than him. If you’re getting paid for something and it turns out it’s going to be a bigger check than what’s he’s getting on his end, refund some of the money. God forbid you earn more than him.

If you have a business and get a chance to expand your operations, don’t take the chance. How are we going to explain it? That you defied the natural order of things and sought to grow yourself and your career?

Y’all are so mind numbingly xtupid with these threads and responses. May God protect women from marrying their enemies. Enemies of progress
