Additionally, I have an option to move to Canada as well but its for schooling....meaning I'd be dependent for a while.
I personally have made researches and Nigerians rate Canada more than the UK when it comes to the opportunities for immigrants. I want to know if this is really significant to consider in this my situation because my fiance is not entirely keen on moving to canada cos their nursing registration process is more rigorous as she might also have to do some courses before working!

Unless i move to canada and she moves to Uk and we maybe link up later. I dont know how thats meant to work! Please help clarify life and career opportunities in the UK for someone with my track record. That might help me make a decision. Thanks guys

2. Abroad, depending on the country, puts your destiny in your hands.

3. Nigeria immigration career progression will be heavily dependent on bosses and politics.

4. I would take the abroad option, especially to a country that can grant me permanent residence or citizenship within 3 - 5 years.

But the most painful part is she doesn't even have a tiny spark of feelings for me. What really made this a problem is the fact that I am a conc stay at home introvert. I work from home on my laptop so we are always home alone together. I used style style to make sure she sees my account balance. she saw it and only hyped me that night. she still didn't budge even though am always taking her out and buying stuff for her. The major pain of this issue now is there is this our young neighbor guy that usually come and pick her with his father's tinted glass car. they will drive to one corner and wind up and that drives me crazy. I will start imagining what they are doing in the car. I even bone her for like one week she no even send, the major problem is staying alone with her and seeing her every minutes makes it hard to move on in my mind. Sometimes I even feel like a simp for being home alone with her and not being able to do anything with her.

The same thing applies to women.

Goodluck Jonathan has become a statesman. He is enjoying his retirement and proving to people that politics is not a do or die.

I am not currently in Nigeria but these issues still apply within Nigerian communities all over the world.

I am now very open about my irreligiosity even though it is no longer a big (new) deal to me.

I want to believe that religion is not a strong enough divider between people that love each other (even though it has already happened to me) but I fail to see how marrying a "strong believer" will work.

Some tie it to things like education or getting married/having kids or staying close to them.

It is not as though the 'kids' can not afford a home. However, a parent adding $10,000 might be the difference between getting a house and your 'dream' home.

5-10K is not average for Americans, it's very expensive. Average is 1-2,5 K, higher is for rich people. People here know how to count money. Average people, if they can afford to pay 5-10K, they better get a mortgage and buy the house and they will not waste money on the expensive rent. Usually renters are young people just starting out of their parents house, people with bad credit (no banks giving them mortgage), drug addicts, new immigrants, temporary stay when you move to the new city, travelers for work or tourists, etc.

In some areas, this is the average rent. Think of where celebrities and billionaires stay.

The 'average' person & immigrant definitely does not pay this.

The only place where you'll rent a one room apartment, i.e, a studio not a one bedroom apartment, for $2,000 is in Manhattan and downtown LA or Hollywood.

In some parts of the USA, rent for a 3 bedroom apartment is less than $1,200. So it depends on where you are.
