A Leader in the All Progressives Congress, APC and Former Governor of the state Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has asserted that APC will take over the leadership of the state come 2019.

He charged them to be assertive and ready to defend their votes and withstand every form of intimidation that may result in the process.



He condemned the attitude of owing civil servants and pensioneers in the state and urged Abians to keep fate with APC, as all those maltreatments netted out on the people by the PDP led Government in the state will be a thing of the past come 2019!

The former Governor urged Abians to appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari, who has demonstrated a genuine passion to transform the nation.



Dignitaries who graced the occasion include: The State Party Chairman, Hon. Nwankpa, Sen. Chris Adighije, State Executives of the party And Key Local Government Executives.

A young man identified as Chinaka was shot dead by his friend at Umuozu Ugiri in Isiala Mbano, Imo state while testing his bulletproof charm popularly known as 'Odeshi' prepared by a native doctor.

According to Doctor Ibezim Benjamin Chidi of Ibezim group hospital and maternity in Isiala Mbano, the deceased went to a native doctor and prepared a charm (odeshi) before asking his friend to fire a Dane gun at him. The friend obliged and shot him, killing him instantly.

The friend brought him to the hospital dead on arrival.

According to reports, the friend has been arrested and is currently in police custody .

A young lady, Jasmine Precious John was killed after being stabbed during a robbery attempt by two criminals. The graduate of Kaduna State University, KASU but based in Abuja - was killed after being approached by two armed robbers who snatched her phone from her.

In the course of the robbery, the young lady was reported to have been stabbed in the chest by the hoodlums - who fled the scene after dispossessing her of her phone.

A close friend of the deceased shared the update on Facebook and revealed how she was killed. Read below;

She closed from the shop in the evening yesterday, walked to the road side to board a bike home, little did she know that yesterday was her last day.

Two boys, real sons of belial, approached her and asked her to surrender her phone. For asking "why"?, she was stabbed with a knife on the chest. She slumped there and the two emissaries of satan dispossessed her of the phone and ran away.
