Don't you go out?

Upset because of mere picture? You guys take some of this things too serious. My grandma's picture is still hanging in our sitting room despite she's late and I never met her and my mum never talked about it for a day. I wonder where you guys meet the kind of women that make you draw such conclusions.
Are you like your mother?

Mayvin:
I like her a whole lot, but just as a friend. She's very intelligent and goal oriented. However, we share contrasting ideas on a wide range of subjects and life vision. Hence, marriage can't possibly work. Moreso, I don't love her.
I had to log in just to tell you that nothing is wrong with you brother.
It's good that you understand this before one of those idealistic people comes here to ask you how you can have sex with someone you don't love...

They don't realize that it's simply what men (most men) do/can do.

Now back to the main issue:
You're having a 'no-strings-attached' sexual relationship with a chic who totally understands the situation clearly. She's not married or dating anyone else, and she doesn't mind having this casual sex with you continuously.

Hello there, please remind me why you started this thread again?
Oh wait, I think just remembered... You always feel guilty after having premarital sex right?
Well, duhh!! As if that's going to stop you from having sex with her again next week. cheesy

On a more serious note now:
Your problem my brother, is proximity – she's easily accessible, she's available to you, and she loves to fornicate just as much as you do. It's that simple.
But if you really (as in, really) want to stop, you simply eliminate that 'closeness' – not the emotional one, only the physical one.
However way you will choose to go about this, is really up to you... but please do it nicely, because on your bad days, on those days when you will feel so down and out, you may just find yourself longing for that body of hers which you can't control yourself from having enough of now.

You already made a mistake by getting intimate with a neighbour (too close in proximity) – this was one of my many DON'TS when I was still like you.
You just have to deal with this mess you have put yourself into one way or the other.

AsherAmari:
Your opinion.

whether premarital sex, or premarital cohabitation, it's still the same and one thing because with premarital cohabitation, comes premarital sex. They are inseparable. They both coexist. So whether I mentioned one first instead of the other really makes no difference.

Also don't try to get personal here with your comments by attacking the messenger. Leave the messenger and take hold of the message. Very key.

A valid point you help me buttressed there about going back completely to the ancient landmark like in the days of Jacob. That would be very fantastic! And I welcome the idea. At least it will reduce drastically the rate of sexual immorality and decadence that has eaten deep I to the society and help build back our moral standards and value system.

Anyways, I'm glad you got the message. So, if you are into such or have friends who indulge in such practices, tell them to desist from it henceforth.
Or else wha?

@red bold, are you saying you don't mind not dating/courting a man.. he just goes to your parents to ask for your hand huh.

By the time they start purging, is you that will pour the cook indomie away, you will still buy drugs on top.

If a toddler spoil anything at home, the caregiver should be blamed for keeping such things on their reach.
Eating it at least once daily until it all finishes, is what I meant... not eating it all at a go.

As for your second paragraph, is it written on indomie packs/cartons to "keep out of the reach of children"?
Family › Re: Mummies And Daddies, Can Premarital Cohabitation Be Morally Justified? by crackhaus:
A simple case of selective morality is all I can glean from this post.

It would have been noteworthy to begin your preaching from the larger issue of premarital sex & relationships and how they should be avoided COMPLETELY, before delving into the smaller issue of premarital cohabitation.

If we were to live by the ancient landmarks (whatever this means), then people shouldn't have any romantic relationships with anyone of the opposite sex until they're just ready for marriage.
Just like Jacob, men would simply go meet the woman's family and pick her out for marriage – no courting, no dating, and no opportunity to have any kind of premarital what-nots.

It's always amazing though when the same group of people who have had/having/will continue having premarital sexual relationships, and keep talking about how preserving one's virginity until her wedding night is NOT a guarantee for having a blissful marriage, still boldface turn around to act high and mighty in judgement of other people who cohabit with their sexual partners – as if it's not all the same sin.

Hilarious...

If you are married and cannot bare it all to your wife, then you have missed it in marriage.

Your wife is meant to help you.

[s]If you see your wife as a problem, you have really made a mistake.[/s]

You will never enjoy the favor that comes upon a man who finds a wife.

A wife is a good thing, so take your time to seek out and marry your wife so you can be helped when you need it.
You have been watching too many movies or reading too many books on romance.

Real life is not so straightforward.

There are some issues/problems a man doesn't need to share immediately with his wife for her own sake.
Better to let her know at a latter time when the effect will be less on her after hearing it.
Family › Re: Ladies: Would You Welcome A Framed Picture Of Your MIL In Your Home? by crackhaus:
What a troublesome question... grin

If you are in the mood and just want to start a quarrel with your wife for the fun of it, then go ahead and broach this subject to her.

You will get either of these two reactions:
1. She will become upset, and she will express it immediately.
2. She will become upset, but she will pretend she is fine with it... until a latter date. Lol

ALL women will fall into one of the two categories above, NONE is exempt... but be more careful around those women who fall into the second category. cheesy

True that locks will arouse one curiosity. I even see people who scream "Don't Touch my phone" as not serious.
I can't trust you if you quickly lock your phone bfre dropping it while going to bath or cook or something.

I know people who have been saved frm serious heartbreak and deceit by going through their partners phone and finding the truth.
People like that are simply not ready for commitment. They are still playing the field.

I just realized that I have not checked her phones in a very long time, and this is probably because I know the passwords.
If I didn't know them, I definitely would be very curious to know what's happening there.

Here is my story......my fiancee buys her pants in pairs and i complained and she said why would she wear different colours of pants when am the only one seeing it, and i agreed with her......secondly i travelled to ghana and spent 3 months and i came back and found out she is bushy down below she refused to shave and i complained and she said she refused to shave because i was not around and because i was the only one seeing it, and i believed her.....I DECIDED TO SEARCH HER PHONE WHILE SHE WAS ASLEEP AND I FOUNDS NUDES SHE SENT TO ANOTHER GUY AND THAT WAS THE END OF THAT RELATIONSHIP. bottom line guys dont check your wife or girlfriend phone if you dont want to die young or develop BP
So after discovering she sent nudes when you went through her phone, your bottom line now is that people should NOT go through their partner's phones eh?

I don't get the logic.

Perhaps you prefer to delay having BP... cos las las, if you had not checked, the nudes will still be there and she still sent it to someone – it changes absolutely nothing except the time she will spend taking you for a fool.

If they like, let indomie tree grow out of their stomach...they must finish it.

The next time they see indomie, they will not want to go close to it.

I'm not a fan of people who propose/get married within a few months of dating. It rings bells for me because I can't fathom how well you can know someone in so short a time enough to want to spend your entire life with them.

The lady did nothing wrong in refusing, and her reasons are valid.
If the guy really cares about her, he should take a step back and work on building a relationship with her without any pressure...

Family › Re: In A Marriage, Responsibilities Should Be 50/50 by crackhaus: 7:34pm On Apr 23, 2021
Dear OP, don't kid yourself...
There's no where in the world that a woman would agree to share all financial responsibilities 50/50, I dare say this.

I could make an exception for families where the husband and wife have decided not to birth kids. A woman in this union may just (emphasis on may) agree to do 50/50, but then it'd still be rare.

Women are simply not built to want to split financial responsibilities straight down the middle – doesn't matter how modern or exposed she is.
You could very well meet exceptions to the above generalization, but they will all be non-african women.

If it's a naija woman you're looking for to split bills/share financial responsibilities 50/50 with you, then sorry oo. cheesy
Our wonderful sisters believe that opening their legs for you entitles them to your money (lots of it), not to mention when they now have children for you... ohh trust me, it's a mountain of gold sef they expect from their men for pushing out babies.

Any woman (like some above) who tells you to share in the housekeeping, child raising, and chores, so that they can share the financial responsibility with you 50/50, is lying to you oo. NA TRAP!
You will just end up doing plenty housework, and still see yourself spending the most money. LOL! No such thing as 50/50 when it comes to money in a naija woman's handbook... Better make peace with this fact and learn how to be following dem with brain.
Family › Re: Is She Not A Disgrace To Womanhood For Saying This? by crackhaus: 6:06pm On Apr 19, 2021
What I find really fascinating is how these group of women who have no interest in having kids, always love to announce and reiterate their choices over and over again for everyone to hear.

For people who claim they don't care about pandering to societal expectations, they sure do care enough about being judged which is why they feel the need to announce it in the first place.

If you don't want kids, that's really your personal problem... no stranger on the internet gives a fvck at the end of the day. Yes, people will talk and criticize but by the time the day is done, everyone retreats and faces their own problems.

What women like this need to do is to simply find a man who shares those same goals with them and to ensure they're open enough to let any guy they're dating know about their choice very early in the relationship.

Don't go and marry first before telling your husband you don't want to have kids, then start crying crocodile tears when he doesn't support it.
Na you do yourself...
