Officialgarri:must you guys turn everything into the tribalistic war? This rubbish really has to stop it's getting old. |
Bendeco2020:Guy I take God beg you, no go there. The number crisis wey don happen for waffi no bi childs. We are happy the town don cool down small. So please no carry make this kin statement. Make some boys wey dey find activity no begin get ideas. I take God beg you. |
WARRI!!! If you know you know. |
Datazone:Babe calm down, no bi fight I'm not from Delta State, but u have a lot of Ijaw and Itsekiri friends and I'm only relaying a fact that I have personally proven and gotten from both sides of the divide. I'm only quoting what I heard from both sides being an inquisitive young man and an avid follower of history, notice that I didn't mention urhobos much while talking about the main Warri. I know the truth according to my own gospel. Peace!!! In other news, So your people are ready to flow with the Oduduwa Republic. |
Ghostwon651:Dude I reside in Warri, and I'm telling you exactly what is happening on ground. You have every right to disagree with me, because my truth may be different from your own truth, that your right to freedom of expression, but what I will never take from anybody whomsoever is to insult me for not dancing to your tune. That is a complete show of immaturity which I will not condone. Go to Ijaw quarters or NPA and call the current Olu the Olu of Warri and see what will become of you. |
supereagle:Yes the itsekiris are decendants of Yoruba extraction, but remember the Itsekiris are a small minority in that small Warri town. If an Urhoboman or an Ijaw man ever hear you call the name Olu of Warri, your in trouble. You must call him the Olu of Itsekiri and the palace of the Olu of Itsekiri is a rented house. So how on Earth are you going to make the whole of Warri part of Oduduwa Republic when the Itsekiris their are less than 30% of the total population in Warri, How does that even work? The Ijaws rather die than ever see that happen not to talk of the Urhobos. The dream of adding Warri to your Oduduwa Republic is dead on arrival. |

SIONKPO1:No arguments here, but they also know when to get good hands. I keep saying this. Never throw away the baby with the dirty water. |
abnot:I understand you perfectly, these parastatals have been bastardized by out elite class. But they still employ people who are extremely good at what they do. For example I personally know of a colleague of mine who left the university where I teach for FIRS, this dude graduated with a 1st class degree from a first generation university here in Nigeria, got scholarship to study for his Masters degree and PhD in the UK. This guy won every award that was needed to be won as far as the academia was concerned in the UK, he set record after record over there. He was given automatic employment as a lecturer in the university where he studied over there, but being an only child he just had to come back to Nigeria. Not to play the devil's advocate, but we still have people like that in those agencies. They are a minority granted, but those minorities are the ones that get the job done. You don't throw away the baby with the dirty water. My two cents though, but mark my words, if this government goes ahead to do this, yes there would be some initial gains, but the damages with be monumental. Bookmark this comment. By the way, I've worked with some of them when I was consulting for an IOC some years back. Most of the guys you find in the field (not the ones in the offices) are really good. Jokes apart I don't think any IOC in the world pays as good as Saudi Aramco( Saudi Arabia's equivalent of our NNPC). |
NextBuhari:Not all of them, the good ones are a minority, but this will be a collosal mistake if it goes ahead. |

galaxy2020:If not for the way corruption is enshrined in Nigeria, there would have been no need for the analysis you gave above. To clear the air, I don't work for NNPC, CBN or FIRS, but I'm just trying to be a bit honest here in other countries people who work in these types of parastatals don't and can never earn the same as people who work in other government agencies. The purpose for this is to attract the best brains and since they work in areas that has to deal with the revenue earnings of a Nation to prevent any form of inducements or corruption tendencies so that the funds generated by these people would not be touched because they are presumed to be comfortable. But what we have in Nigeria is a complete opposite of the reason for their monstrous pay. Just know that if this report is implemented and the salaries of these people reduce drastically. We are heading for a massive disaster. Brain drain and unbelievable levels of kleptomaniacs in government parastatals will be the order of the day. |
Did anybody else read the part of him being married to this same woman for 50years? Something is wrong somewhere. |
doggedfighter:[/b] That bullet pulling people's trousers part off me walahi. ![]() |
maupe:President Buhari, How can the farmers produce bountifully with herdsmen on the loose, killing farmers, burning down hectares of farmland, laying waste to vast farmlands with their hoards of cattle eating away at the sweat and toil of the farmers. You were playing politics with people's lives so as not to offend Meyitti Allah. Now covid-19 came suddenly as a flood and everything is now in shambles. It's unfortunate that you and your family won't experience the coming hardship and hunger Nigerians are going to face in the days to come. But God in his infinite mercies will see all of us through. |
Solorrman3310:Your lack of understanding is not just legendary, and breath taking. Your display of arrogance in your ignorance is totally something else. I have so many Muslim friends, but they don't reason the way you do. They are well traveled and enlightened, but you see some of you northern Muslims that grew up in the almajiri system that conditioned your brains to be moronic is something else. No wonder you and your jihadist brothers behave like animals, bombing children hospitals and killing women. How can you support a pediohile for crying out loud? A fully grown man that kidnaps and rapes a 13year old girl, stealing her childhood in the process. No wonder the rising cases of VVF is so common in the North and the ones that escape VVF end up with Pelvic Cancer at a later age, the high number of cases of Pelvic Cancer in the North is alarming. Because girls pelvises are not allowed to mature naturally before it's forced to carry a baby. Is this not an aberation? Are you not tired of your politicians stealling and taking all the opportunities belonging to you and your people for their generations unborn and they use religion and tribalism to blind you, while they do the opposite. Wake up!!! If you wish to. |
it's official, I give up on this country for good. What is this? Every right thinking human being would ask for this pediohile to be castrated or hanged by the balls. But you see all these northern Muslim hypocrites are something else. Now imagine it was a Christian from the south that did this? He would have been beheaded by now. Na God go judge all of una. I'm relocating out of this shit hole for good, I've given up on this country. |
Dear funkmrflexx, Since you insist on dying, because God himself has shown you a glimpse of the future if and when you get married. Simply continue and please to ensure you don't stress people, pay for your space in the cemetery and make a down payment on the casket. Also start a savings plan for your funeral expenses. A girl with this kind of anger issues will definitely stab you to death in your sleep one day over a very simple matter and blame it on devil when her eye clear. Thanks. NOTE: You even said she is from an abusive home, that was your red flag right there. |
Interesting, but I beg to differ. If you're talking about high toxicity levels, due to the presence of heavy metals such as chromium and copper. not to talk of high cadium presence in the tissues of they got from the fishes. Then why is it mainly only one specie of fish is mainly being affected. |
Explorers:But seriously, who kills babies. Babies for crying out loud. These animals are worst than demons. |
O-town my beloved city. My love for Owerri is something else. |
jolyment:Truth be told I love this country no matter how battered and uninhabitable our leaders make it seem, but this right here is the very last straw. Let this covid-19 of a thing become a thing of the past first, I'm definitely taking my services out of this country. I've had enough. |
vivalavida:Meaning the HDMI port is gone. |
vivalavida:My brother, polystar products are substandard. Almost bought one a few years ago, but my boss told me a story similar to this and the that the picture quality was unbelievably terrible compared to TVs of the same category. Just go get a new one, repairing it is not worth it at all. Lost my TV when a lightening bolt, struck my compound early last year. Found out after that incident that my landlord didn't Earth the house. I don't use a TV anymore, I just my laptop and smartphone for entertainment these days, if I really want to feel the music, I just connect my phone to my sound bar via Bluetooth the sound production is excellent. |
BigTableShaker:So you are implying that he is Igbo, when the report clearly says Benue. I pity you, your hatred for Igbos will definitely one day push you to commit suicide by falling into a filled up septic tank and drowning in poop. |
A305:Huh?! Seriously? So you don't realize that overpopulation is quicker way of extinction? We are humans and we are not base creatures, this sexual immorality of a thing seriously needs to be curbed, else we'll fukk ourselves into extinction. |
Sammy07:young man, I only made my view on this bigotry laced thread known. But I can see your up for an e-war, I have better things to do than to come here and exchange insults with a poorly brought up kid. Have nice life. |
Sammy07:Have you been to Enugu recently? How on Earth do you compare the red roof republic with Enugu of all places? Was ibadan ravaged and razed to the ground by war? Note ibadan's close proximity to the ports in Lagos contributed immensely to it's development. Dude please tell yourself some home truth. |
tysontim:Sir, I'm as Igbo as they come. I preach self discovery and development above all else. Politics as practiced in Nigeria can never bring up anything good. We are doing very well on our own, without federal presence. The small money that is given the SE states end up being squandered by the politicians so we still end up with nothing over here. Onye ajuru adịghị ajụ onwe ya. |
SangoOlukosoOba:Thanks for sharing your own view. Only time will tell. |
SangoOlukosoOba:I'm an Igbo man and a very proud one at that, I'm happy an igboman is not president yet and I wish it last longer than 50years. You guys think you are marginalizing us? The joke is on you guys. We the Igbos were robbed and almost decimated after that civil war. But look at Igbo land today, we believe that a person abandoned can't abandon himself. The North and West believe in politics and it's drawing back development in those areas because politics is a means of quick money. Apart from some parts of Lagos and Abuja which other part of Nigeria is as developed as igboland? Self-help is working for us. Apart from some greedy and moronic igbomen like rochas and co that can't stand up and talk in a village meeting in igboland touting for presidency. Eat your presidency, my Warri friend once said, "hunger go make you discover talent". Continue with your presidency while we keep growing our home and buying up your lands. It's only a matter of time. |
