FroshJaynex:I wish that our fallen heroes are honoured in death the way it's done in other nations. They're sacrificing so much for us to live in peace. I don't know any of them but I can't help the tears ... |
I just feel so sad about this loss and the endless yet meaningless BH war. Too many young men are dying because of this needless war. Too many young widows and fatherless children. Just too painful! How do we console a one month old bride. Lord have mercy! Sometimes I wish it's something that can be solved simply by carving out an area for them to live Sharia compliant lives as they wish. Others sympathetic to their cause will be free to join them there instead of creating problems for us by spying for them and endangering our lives. May their souls rest in perfect peace as God comforts and upholds their families. May God strengthen, guide and protect our dear gallant men in battle. We appreciate all that you do to keep us safe and secure. God bless you and your families. Amen |
According to TVC news, Auna, a village 24km away from Maiduguri was under heavy attack today. Let's pray that Borno State doesn't fall into the hands of these unrelenting terrorists. I don't even understand what they want. Afterall there's Sharia in the North already. |
Its good to work towards fulfilling ones life purpose. That way, every other peripheral action becomes irrelevant to ones life. A man who dumps you is either not meant for you or doesn't deserve you, so why not move to greater things? It's sad that many young people are not deep thinkers. The artificial Internet life is indeed a problem. |
SixDividedByTwo:Amen |
That's what happens when people refuse to read their Bibles, meditate on the words and use it to fight their battles aka 'Do it yourself Ministry '. Anyone who depends on a 'man of God' for protection is foolish. Priests are there to guide and teach. If they depart from the word of God, one should take a walk. They can only play on the intelligence of gullible people with lazy minds. The Bible says we should get 'wisdom and understanding'. People should open their eyes, hearts and minds to discern between falsehood and the truth. |
XaintJoel20:How is that possible without arms and ammunition? They should face the AK47 bearing warlords with sticks and stones? |
Terrible! May God comfort and uphold this family. |
I feel sorry for this guy. Nigerian Army needs to work out better terms of engagement for the soldiers. A tour of duty should have a tenure such that they can see family/friends after a while. It's a psychological boost in my opinion. Rotation is key. That reminds me of the young airforce man who died two weeks after his wedding. So disheartening! I thought that they're normally given time off (even if it's annual leave) for such. I pray for peace in the heart of our gallant soldiers who are sacrificing so much to make our nation safe and peaceful. May they and their families experience generational blessings. May the departed souls rest in perfect peace. Amen Always proud of our military. Doing their best against all odds. God bless and keep you all safe and secure. May you always overcome the enemies to God's glory. Amen |
Thomas Jefferson had a Quran because he wanted to understand the reasoning behind the raids of the Barbary Pirates who were Arab Muslims. It's an interesting story for those who may want to Google and read. |
sukerefakere:Brain surgeries are done in UCH Ibadan |
Amina Villa aka Justina Oluoha appears to be a fraudster who has collaborators within the villa. What baffles me is the involvement of the so called traditional ruler. If it was indeed a good deal, he could have raised funds on his own to buy it. |
The days of an active Student's Union are long gone. The 70s to 80s had NUNS which stood up for the students and the masses. Today's NANS is more focused on hero worshipping their oppressors. Great pity! ![]() |
festacman:The summary of Ambodes errors. |
This is disheartening! May his soul rest in perfect peace. I feel so sad that we're sending out our boys to protect us without giving them all that they need. That's not better than the BH guys who send out girls on suicide missions. Our gallant soldiers deserve much better. |
Ignorance par excellence! There is indeed a Christian calendar which revolves around Jewish traditions and the life of Jesus Christ. It certainly has nothing to do with January 1st. January to December is an accepted official calendar used worldwide including Arab countries. Other calendars are for religous or cultural and limited to particular groups of people. |
Great idea! It will be so useful in Lagos. Just imagine that you're leaving VI to Ikeja only to get to Ozumba Mbadiwe and there's heavy traffic.. Change gear, drive into the lagoon to cross over to Ikoyi and link Osborne rd/Third mainland bridge. Traffic at Oworonshoki ...change gear again and fly to Ikeja. ![]() Isn't that wonderful? He needs our support truly. |
bdauran:Great news! Thank God. |
Instead of concentrating their efforts on regaining control of Zamfara and Bornu states, Buratai is talking about Python dance all over the nation. We dey siddon look. |
Interesting! If true, the country is thoroughly messed up. |
Remain calm and risk their lives. I don't know what to believe anymore. |
Erin people and trouble all the time with Offa! I came across the presentations made to the tribunal then by the Alaafin of Oyo and the late Emir of Ilorin, Sulu Gambari which indicates that the land originally belonged to Offa. A particular point was noted as the boundary but of course politics is playing a huge role in all these. Like the Ife/Modakeke issue, the matter will be resolved not in court nor by war but by the true law of nature in due season. |
Yeah, I remember Besthope Hospital on Layi Oyekanmi St Mushin. I was curious about acupuncture then. I got a good explanation though it was clear that I had no need for it. Dr Fasehun was indeed a great doctor and very pleasant person. May his soul rest in perfect peace. |
ct2:Yes she's happily married. Her family is based in the UK according to reports. |
This man in reality is a very humble man. |
He should send petitions to EFCC if this is true. At least they'll explain their sources of income. |
PYO warming his way into people's hearts. ![]() Either way, it's obvious from the comments on NL these days that some people are paid to write for or against the two candidates. Young people should stop pandering after the old regime. Take your destiny into your hands. The change you so much desire can only be effected by you. Most of these leaders have been on the scene for more than 40 years. |
I don't think Fashola got a house in Abuja. So he won't be the first. |
I don't think Fashola got a house in Abuja. |
EVILFOREST:It's a regular thing in most Churches. It's just not publicised. Muslims in the neighbourhood are treated in Church clinics and benefit from the food banks all year round. There's no discrimination when they visit hospitals, prisons and underbridge. God expects a Christian to love his neighbour no matter who he is. |
Wow! God is great!! I'm soooo happy that all fake prophets have been brought to shame. Congrats to Funke and her husband. May they have more joy, peace and love in their lives. The children shall be great sources of joy and blessings to them always. Ayo yin a dale o. Amin |
