Great woman! God bless her.

BTW why is her tribe so important? All that is necessary is to appreciate her and learn from her enterprise.

Sad indeed! All the years of building a brand and growth gone to waste. Sir Pascal Dozie should have made his son train under good bank administrators before allowing him to manage the bank. Maybe I'm missing something though.

That's what Chief Subomi Baloguns son did and FCMB is still going strong.
Christianity Etc › Re: RCCG Sells A Bag Of Rice At N9k To Their Members In Abuja by delpee(f): 11:54am On Dec 17, 2018
Churches give freely on a regular basis. It's just that Biblical teaching frowns against publicity in such circumstances. I belong to a Church Ministry that gives so much to society in all spheres. Never have we made our giving public and never will we do so. God's appreciation is all that is necessary.

RCCG gives massively and have been able to rehabilitate a lot of destitutes and the helpless by so doing. I know that Mrs Adeboye, Mrs Osinbajo and Arise Women among many others are doing a wonderful job.

Freeze doesn't know much or he's probably looking at the Church through the tainted lenses of some fraudulent ministers who are not living by the Word of God.

NOTE: I'm not a member of RCCG. I know cos I'm sometimes invited to their events by friends.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Don't Pastors Preach About PAUPER'S TITHE As Prescribed By Scriptures? by delpee(f): 9:36pm On Dec 16, 2018
That's why there's Gleaners harvest in the Anglican Church and maybe other orthodox Churches. Whatever is collected is shared to the less privileged. That's apart from routine giving all through the year.

The heart of man is indeed terribly wicked! Very sad news.

Wondering how a mother will allow her daughter to be sexually abused.

It's sad that the real enemies of many young girls are those closest to them; those who should protect them.

FIDA and FEGO Colleges OSA should take this up. Many are highly placed in politics and government service too so his position as Special Adviser can't intimidate them.

May God heal her thoroughly. I hope her state government can take her away from her mum for better care.

Don't get yourself into trouble. Considering her high taste, chances of her leaving him for you is slim. It's also a risky venture. If she's from a comfortable family truly, her family can assist her without your intervention.

If she needs help, she should contact relevant NGOs.

Nigerians. We are the most stupid people on earth.
I have been following the protests in France for three weeks now.. The protests have been bloody. Many people injured and arrested.. Las las, the protesters won.

Protests heavily participated by young people. The govt has suspended the diesel price increase which led to the protests..

No govt can stand a determined protest. None at all. What we do is come online and blab. ASUU is on strike and students are not protesting. If students can protest for three weeks and cause serious problem around, the govt and ASUU go get sense..

Nigeria is a unique country. The only reason South Africa is a bit reasonable compare to other black African countries is due to the fact her citizens don't joke with protest..

Any small thing, they don enter street. Our current and past leaders have done things that can lead to protests but we simply sit down and blab online.

Sorry my people. We can't make progress as a nation. Las las, we go all apply for visa to run away to countries where the citizens worked so hard to make their leaders accountable.
Sadly our people focus more on personal/tribal and religous considerations. It's so difficult to get a united front for meaningful deliberations and action. Too many interests to consider. These days, one group protests and others gather for counter protest.

Just wondering...why are some people swallowing panadol for another man's headache? His wife, his daughters, his life!

I admire his guts though. A real man who knows how to shield his home from predators and home destroyers. Anyone who has been married for a while will understand that there's no big deal in what happened. If you can't manage crisis in your home, you'll keep changing wives/husbands. No couple is perfect. They work on/ tolerate/ forgive each other's inadequacies. That's the only way to stay happily married.

The G.O. who preaches that people should stop depending on their Pastors for miracles!

He expects his Church members to fight their battles in accordance with his do it yourself ministry.

I love listening to his teachings on spiritual development. It makes a significant impact on one's views about life.
Family › Re: Should I Continue Giving Money To My Friend's Wife? by delpee(f): 8:10pm On Dec 07, 2018
Why don't you give your friend and let him give his wife? Consistent direct communication with and payments to her without involving your friend could lead to trouble.

Also be careful. It's wiser to assist your friend by assisting to set him or his wife up in a viable business if he's unemployed. You'll get tired of giving someday if they don't relent. Giving is great and attracts amazing blessings but one should give those truly in need.

The Bible says a man who can not provide for his family has denied the faith. 1 Timothy 5:8. It also says a woman must be a homemaker (in summary) by being a valuable helpmate for her husband. Prov.31:10-31
She's not expected to be totally dependent on her husband.

Give by all means but plan your own life too.

@OP

Please see a doctor in General Hospital or a reputable private hospital. Reason...you'll have access to a consultant if necessary. You'll also do relevant tests to determine the real problem and your body's compatibility with a chosen drug plus it's efficacy. Don't ever buy antibiotics on your own!

It's not a big deal. All will be well with you shortly. Note that I'm not a doctor but I've seen many seasons.
Politics › Re: Buhari’s Military Junta Persecuted Atiku Over 53 Suitcases – Titi Atiku Abubakar by delpee(f): 8:20pm On Dec 06, 2018
Positivepoint:
It would be recalled that Atiku was the Customs Officer in Charge of Murtala Muhammed Airport command when the suitcases were imported into the country in 1994.

Atiku’s wife said: “When Atiku was in Customs, there was one incident that happened in the 80’s when 53 suitcases were brought in by a traditional ruler during the administration of the present president and he (Atiku) insisted that those suitcases must be opened.

I just need clarification on the event date. Did it happen in 1994 or 80s? Or is this another badly scripted article.
It happened in 1984. All luggages were to be searched in accordance with a decree (law) in place then to prevent money laundering. PMB was HOS then. The release of the luggages led to the rumours that the suitcases were loaded with cash.

Our children need to be taught history. However those who seek knowledge will find it. People should resolve to read more. One is in a better position to understand today and plan for the future if the past is known.

Crime › Re: Yahoo Plus And Ritual Money Doesn't Exist, Stop The Unnecessary Killings by delpee(f): 9:45pm On Dec 04, 2018
skillz111:
The truth is ritual is real but you won't get the money from the body parts it's only a source of convenant with your source of diabolic wealth the killing is the sin you have to commit and mortal sin is one of the worst.
Karma is a potent force in our universe something like cause and effect body parts would never translate to money but the killing is needed for your karma to be stamped for the money you are been granted.
To all my religious people you know what it means to have a convenant with God not to talk of having a convenant with the devil who does not even like you if you are unlucky the devil fulfil his part then you must fulfill yours
On a lighter note those who fail to fulfill there mission on there ritual journey when caught naa immediately devil dey comot in hand for there matter even if you blame am he go still denial you bros D person wey no fear you ehn.
In the history of mankind nobody I repeat nobody as ever beaten evil to its game you would lose at the end especially money rituals its real but an illusion that leads to suffering at the end the one you were trying to escape say no to rituals there would never be a happy ending.
You're right. Karma is so real. The spiritual realm is so deep and powerful! Any well schooled Christian understands that perfectly. Biblical principles and stories make all these very clear. You'll always reap as you sow whichever way and no matter how long it takes. Sometimes it becomes a generational curse. It's simply a natural law.

The juju priests know the implications that's why they won't do those rituals for themselves. If making money the devilish way is sustainable, the Yoruba teaching of old, "Ise loogun ise" (Work is the antidote to poverty) and many others we learnt growing up will not exist. Our cultural belief is that any funds derived fraudulently will not last.

However I think some people get unwittingly involved in organ trade while thinking they're performing rituals.

Those who don't understand these things should stay clear of such and watch their steps. Those who care to know more should read widely starting with a better understanding of the deep spiritual stories and principles stated in the Holy Books.

Crime › Re: Supo Bamidele, Businessman Arrested With Human Parts In Osun (Photo) by delpee(f): 4:43pm On Dec 04, 2018
I really wonder why people believe that they can make money by killing others. The Bible and Quran are very clear about murder being a sin. Even our culture emphasises the need to be kind hearted and righteous to attract blessings from the Almighty. You can't kill and prosper by it. Heartless souls indeed! angry

Besides "oun ti a ko ba jiya fun kii tojo, oun ti a ba fara sise fun lo npe lowo eni".
You can only reap bountifully from the labour of your hands.
Politics › Re: How Did The Olukumin People Accept A Hausa Derogatory Term As Their Name? by delpee(f): 8:36am On Dec 04, 2018
rhidollah:
olukumi means the person I can trust i.e eni ti o ku mi ku, the Yoruba are also known as aku which was very derived from the way they greet i.e eku owuro , e ku osan etc.
That's the correct tranlation of Olukumi. Same translation is stated for Lucumis in South America or Brazil to be precise. Some believe that they're an ancient Yoruba tribe that migrated eastwards during the Yoruba ethnic group wars. Their original language sounds like some Yoruba dialects. Our local dialects differ greatly. Oyo dialect is the most prominent and the mutually accepted mode of communication in public space.

Jimi agbaje can not do anything for lagosians, although we are not getting much the current government of Ambode compared to Fashola era. That does not mean the next governor will not perform bbetter.

What has Jimi Agbaje done in his private capacity to uplift the suffering of the people in his community in about 12 years he has been trying to become Lagos state governor?
He behaves like an opportunist every election year and goes into hiding once he loses the election only to appear back once another election period is around the corner. All his social media handles become dormant after every election only to become active once election starts again.

What is his vision for lagos statehuhhuh
He truly hasn't done well in that regard.
