Crime › Re: Evans Reveals How SARS Tortured Him And Killed Detainees In His Presence by delpee(f): 10:48pm On Oct 27, 2018
Interesting coming from a man whose victims claimed that he dealt with them badly. Maybe they were all lying and the ransoms they paid only vanished into the air.
Culture › Re: Stop Electing Leaders Without Education To Public Offices – Sanusi by delpee(f): 9:43pm On Oct 27, 2018
I can only pray that the younger generation will galvanise towards a younger credible candidate. Those of us who have lived most of our lives under a recycling generation of leaders are deeply worried. These are leaders who started ruling in their 20s and 30s. They're still the ones in charge today!

We weathered the storms of June 12 with the hope of a progressive brighter future for our children. Unfortunately they're more interested in standing at the bustop we've been struggling to leave. Going by what i see on social media, there's little hope for change.

We really need a new dawn in this nation. May God help us.

Isn't his Masters degree from the US acceptable? WASC is simply a minimum qualification.
Politics › Re: It Is Impossible To Pay N30,000 As Minimum Wage – Presidency by delpee(f): 10:32pm On Oct 26, 2018
But it's very easy to pay politicians in millions! undecided

We need to work towards reducing NASS to one house with lower emoluments. It should also function as a part time assembly. Afterall they're on recess so often. Savings from that alone will be sufficient to pay thousands of workers 30,000 per month.

Perhaps FHA needs to collaborate with LASG. Or has the Estate been handed over to Lagos State? I thought it belongs to Federal Housing Authority.

Butterflyleo:
Obasanjo didn't spend $16b. Obasanjo looted that $16b.

Likewise Jonathan looted his own too
Actually no government spent $16 billion on electricity. There's a difference between budgeted and actual figures. Also it was confirmed that some equipment paid for at that time were abandoned at the ports due to non clearance by Customs during the Yaradua/Jonathan administration. Investigations and reports on all the issues by relevant authorities have been published several times.

We need to be careful especially with recent rumours that some Asians package human parts as food and drugs.

sad How can any sane man marry a lady that has fornicated with wizkid uncountable times? Only God knows the number of abortions she did to avoid the baby mama tag. Yet a mumu man deem it fit to marry such a used and dumped lady? Smh

Politics › Re: ‘Nigerian Workers Should Be Clapping For Us’ – Chris Ngige by delpee(f): 11:11am On Oct 22, 2018
We should be grateful for our suffering and smiling situation abi. These people don't give a damn about our suffering masses.

While most workers are struggling to survive on 18 - 40k per month (when available), legislooters are earning millions for the half job that they do. They've been on recess for months now and will still be paid outrageous sums for the period. The executive too have their own ways a la Ganduje method.

It's imperative that we have a reallocation of resources very soon. People are dying of poverty while the rich live obscenely. angry Still they rub it in our faces.

This has been on for so long anyway. I just wonder if we can continue like this forever.

Hold his hand and walk. It requires patience and a lot of encouragement. Don't worry anyway. If he can walk on the bed, he'll walk on the floor in due course. He may have fallen on the floor and so knows the difference between a cushioned fall and a hard one.

We have 15 churches just in my street alone

Government needs to do something on this stupid people calling man gods.
Do something about it. Enlist the support of others on your street. Some streets have many Churches, Mosques, event centres and music shops that ensures that the environment is noisy all day long. It's unhealthy, stressful and annoying.

If you're in Lagos, there are laws to protect you. There's a limit to the level of noise allowed too. Most people are suffering needlessly. Sometimes due to the fear of being seen as godless, we allow ourselves to be trampled upon by self centred people.

Desperate importers will not poison us one of these days. Any edible stuff from China without proper clarification is a no no for me. No more Chinese restaurant sef. Those people can cook or eat ANYTHING.

Yesterday there was a warning in respect of capsules/drugs containing human parts from China too. shocked

May God deliver us from those who want to be billionaires whichever way.

That's why someone said blacks are still slaves ...in the mind. A nation that has billionaires buying outrageously priced designer wear and yet goes cap in hand begging for foreign aid..Hmmm.

We have a very long way to go.

Probably to discuss the cattle colony matter since BAT spoke in favor of that against the wishes of South Westerners.

Alaafin seems to be against it considering what Ajimobi said when Oyo was listed as one of the places to be used.

I'm just tired of this intertribal internet wars. Still wondering how we degenerated to this low level. Wheres the humanity and godliness in us? All for show at Churches and Mosques. Nothing like love, justice, fairness and merit anymore. huh

So much hatred and bitterness in this our once-upon-a- time united country. It's so disheartening! sad

technicallyrich:
kwara is sarakis inheritance, after his great grand father slaughtered afonjass that betrayed their own fellow oyorubass.
One of my favourite stories though, wish it could be turned in to a movie,so that other generations will know about how kwara state was taken and handed over to a fulansi man,the sarakiss never to be relinquisdhe.
Try and read up on the history of Ilorin. It has nothing to do with the Sarakis who arrived there much later. The Saraki story has been told separately by others including Alh. Abdulrasaq who is the father of the current APC governorship aspirant in Kwara. Google is your friend.
