EJEHSON:There are many people in the rehab centres. The social welfare department in Lagos is quite effective. We only don't know much about what they do because it's not often publicised. |
This is so necessary. It's so frustrating when you want to sleep and others decide to do a noisy night vigil or patrol the environment with loudspeakers. Ightclubs too with heavy sound equipment all night in residential areas. Even calls to prayer doesn't have to be very loud. Do unto others as you would want them do to you. |
CPA is a professional body like ICAN and ACCA. It's for chartered accountants. He couldn't have been registered with them if he never took their exams. Not all who work as accountants are chartered. |
A good officer as far as I know. Congratulations to him. LLNP |
ONNYX:Terrible roads in that axis! |
Chido26:The Registrar said his admission was based on his performance at Southwest College which was a feeder institution for CSU. The Govt. College matter is irrelevant in this case. If he submitted the GCL certificate to INEC, that can be taken up separately. |
OneCandleAway:Obasanjo never gave such privileges to his children. Iyabo was lifted by Gbenga Daniel. BAT is said to have informed us that DSS insists that he can only use the official jets, not his private jet. Probably for security reasons. Sometimes it's so difficult to judge those at the top when all the information required is not available to us. |
Svoboda:Sadly so. It started in the military era. |
geoworldedu:Of course Israel is made up of orthodox Jews, Muslims and Christians. Palestine has Muslims and Christians too. The war has never been about religion, it's an ethnic fight over land and territories dating back to Biblical days. Unfortunately, many ignorant Muslims and Christians take sides on religious basis. |
Lawyers are cashing out big time.... |
Great pity! Hamas aided by Hezbollah worked against PLO chaired by late Yasser Arafat. Bill Clinton, former US President sued for peace and worked with the UN to give recognition to Israel and Palestine as separate states. That should have brought peace and ended Israels land grabbing tendencies. Sadly, Arafat declined at the tail end of the negotiation to please his people who haven't known peace since then. The fight isn't really religious, it's basically a struggle for land. There are Muslim Jews and Palestinian Christians. Arafat was married to a Palestinian Christian though he was a Muslim. May God's divine intervention resolve the issues for them. |
KingAzubuike:He donated to some orphanages across the country. Some journalists verified that. Some publicly acknowledged him for that. On this matter, I think Amaju and Davido have issues beyond what we're reading. Still, David needs to return the money or perform. |
If only Yasser Arafat/Hamas didn't backpedal on the 2 state deal proposed by Bill Clinton.... They allowed themselves to be deceived/misled by those who have nothing to lose. The idea of eliminating Israel simply will never work. The States of Israel and Palestine coexisting in peace is the best solution. |
I hope he's truly buying.... 38 for 1k sounds strange. I don't know about prices in the Ekiti/Ondo axis though. They have a lot of plantain there. |
How will the business grow when there's free loading? If the husband doesn't pay, other family members and some friends will start feeling entitled. If care is not taken, that eats into the profits leading to poor growth or business failure. It's always wise to avoid sentiments in business. |
Whatisurproblem:You can track her location via phone calls with the the help of a detective. There are possible reasons why she's avoiding you....The baby may not be yours, she just needed a friendly sperm donor for her family, she wants to be a single mother or she's cooking something..... |
swaggerjack:I studied history in secondary school. There are many examples of countries that turned around for good through the effort of the people and sometimes their leaders. |
May her soul rest in peace. The IG needs to come out strongly on this so they can put a stop to the need for police report before treatment commences. The hospital can notify the police as soon as the patient is taken in for record purposes. |
More and more explanation for those who couldn't read and understand the deposition. The fact is you can't change hardened hearts and bitter souls. Whatever shades of grey (if any) lies in between all the submissions will definitely be revealed in due course. That's how all the Jubril El Sudan issue was believed by many only for everyone to see that PMB was still the same. Hoping that people will not develop high BP over this matter. The owner of the problem is at peace while people keep getting worked up with anger and bitterness. People need to keep their eyes on the ball of governance so things don't get much worse while we keep chasing shadows. |
Paraman:A clearer explanation. I hope all NNPC, Mobil and Bovas stations will have fuel. Maybe others will buy from NNPC for now to solve the problem. We really shouldn't go back to the subsidy to independent marketers era. It's too fraud prone. |
Delphi:He mentioned in one of his posts that he took the trouble to visit CSU in Chicago to verify that BAT attended and graduated from the school. It seems that while we are more focused on certificates, the US system is more interested in transcripts which validate attendance and performance better. That's why their certificates are ceremonial. It's more sensible really. Learning new lessons... |
free2ryhme:They're working towards that. I read somewhere that they plan to register the elderly. They can start from the pension verified lists. It's also possible to get data at Ward/LGA levels. |
Good progress! Hope the Red line will come on board soon. The darkness at night is too much. Are there no lights on the Marina flyover? |
Some private universities in Nigeria readily issue transcripts. I know of Babcock for instance though they're American style oriented. |
It's not a good idea. The early part of marriage is the best time to bond well with minimal interference. Your friend should be reasonable enough to find a better solution. |
Disgusting! If you can't afford to host a party, why bother? Very rude. No omoluabi values at all. |
My name was misspelt on an important document. I didn't bother because of the stress I went through to get it but with what is happening now, perhaps I need to sort it out. Simple mistakes can turn out grievous if one isn't careful. Young ones should make sure that their records remain consistent over the years by making necessary adjustments as may be required. Always remember, Folake Olamide isn't the same as Afolake Lamide. Check your documents and ensure that all relevant information match in all cases. It's also the reason why some people have issues getting passports and visas. |
AdamuKD:Read up on the deposition for better understanding. There's a thread here on it. |
TheAlchemist:Reason why we're not progressing! |
Many people have called out NRC on this cash based ticketing to no avail. It leaves room for corruption. Even during the cash crunch, they insisted on collecting cash! That should have been the time to switch to a digital payment platform. BRT and Blue Line are using cards. Even Ibadan buses. Why can't NRC move forward....except if it's deliberate. A sure way of running down the business. Meanwhile, we're still repaying loans. Seems every FG business venture easily gets mismanaged. |
Many people have called out NRC on this cash based ticketing to no avail. It leaves room for corruption. |
Hmmm! Perhaps we should just focus on good governance so Nigeria can move forward. All these people are comfortable and can fight their personal battles about dirty deals without dragging the nation along. We really need to develop our country promptly to reduce the suffering of the masses who don't even understand these online wars. |
