I remember when my nephew was caught up in such a marriage and it really broke my heart that the elders in my family were against him divorcing her because they had a new born at the time.

I nearly lost my mind and I phoned her and told her I would travel across the globe to beat the demons out of her if she ever touches my nephew again.

This psycho would smash objects over his head, and leave scratches on his face like he fought a wild cat. I was so traumatised because my nephew came from a healthy home and he could not bring himself to defend himself against her. All he did was to try and restrain her until he could escape.

I pushed him to divorce her and shut down anyone who apposed with a simple fact "if he was one of the girls would we say the same things" I honestly feared this psycho would stab him one day. ALL VIOLENCE IS VIOLENCE!

Don't entertain threats, tell her to stop threatening you or you will not be with her. People should stop romancing violence or threats of violence. She needs to sort her head out because it's never okay to threaten someone you claim to love. This is a huge red flag.

I am a freelancer. I don't use PayPal; I use Payoneer. I had to get someone to quickly create that PayPal account because a new client insisted on paying through PayPal.
I have learned the hard way though.

People get scammed when they try to do things that can't be done. If you can't create and use PayPal then you should have walked away from the job but greed kicked in and it's through greed that scammers thrive. I'm really sorry for your predicament and I'm not trying to make you feel bad but I'm vex for you

Even PayPal warned you that the account isn't verified but you went ahead anyway. Stop being so easy to scam.
