It happens to fraternal twins. They could be born weeks apart. My friend's fraternal twins were conceived five days apart but they were born on the same day. One twin is much smaller than the other and they look nothing alike. The smaller one looks like her mum and the older one looks like her dad. fraternal twins are more like siblings born on the same day rather than actual twins.

If you were cooking for someone with strict dietary restrictions, and you neglected their requirements, and the person gets sick or dies then you are responsible. You could be charged and could face prison time.

This is a serious allegation and op's wife is very lucky that she is in Nigeria where people will forgive her and beg her husband to forgive her and it could all be prayed away.

There is NO doctor that can confirm his wife fed the mother more than one plate of food, let alone the salt content in the said food without having been there or having the food analyzed in a lab. From reading the story, your wife did not poison your mother. No genuine doctor can say what was said in your story, unless they want to cause confusion in your home. Your mother's sodium increase can be caused by many things. It also sounds like your mother suffers from long term congestive heart failure. I suspect she even got Covid on top of all of this.

As a society, we have to make a hard choice about what to with this group. Do you let them fail? Do you institutionalize them? These are difficult things to wrestle with, but they underlying the fact that if you want this group to conform with the societal model, they’ll need to be supervised full time. There’s not necessarily a right answer - you are either respecting their right to suffer and sit in their own feces, or imposing your will upon them just to make everyone else feel more comfortable.

Most people from western countries live in societies that have some strain of individualist thinking. No one wants to admit that some people just suck. We’d all prefer to think that everyone is inherently good and has intrinsic value.

This is the truth. Some people don't want to work 8 to 12 hours a day only to pay bills. They don't want to be part of this process.

If they sit outside and beg, they walk away with a minimum of £20/30 if 30 people give them £1 or as much as £100 a day. They then buy themselves their drinks and drugs and get to socialize with their new community and this is sustainable for them.

If you put them in a house and give them a schedule, they can not function. They don't know how to be in this situation. I've watched documentaries where these people talk about the loneliness they feel when they close their door and sit in an apartment. The homeless lifestyle offers them a family and camaraderie.

Then there are those who are homeless due to circumstances and it is those people who need help to get back to their normal life.

There are building codes and standards that have to be followed. This cost money and if someone pays for it they will want you to pay rent which will be impossible for someone with mental health issues, drug and alcohol dependence and trauma...

There isn't a lack of homes, there's a lack of affordable housing. Also, everyone wants to live in the big cities because America has land! There are part of America where there are affordable houses but then there are no jobs there and without work your broke and hungry.

There are problems everywhere in the world though. But there are just as much opportunities for success.
