Start preaching the gospel and doing evangelism. Then also you should pray to recieve the Holy Spirit as He gives boldness and courage
In the name of the Lord Jesus I pray that she's safe and her life is preserved wherever she is, as the Spirit of God reveals her whereabouts to you and the relevant authorities, Amen.
Kobojunkie: 1. My first inkling was to ask you why you quote from a passage that has absolutely to do with any of what you or I said in previous posts, but I decided to bite anyways to see if you would realize this for your own self. The passage above is basically Paul drawing a line to show that Jesus Christ's gift of Eternal life is not like Adam's sin and the effect it had on mankind.
Wow, and you failed to see that part of that gift 🎁 is Righteousness Like seriously You should see 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 It would help your faith.
Kobojunkie: Depth of what sacrificial giving? So all that Jesus Christ said of God desiring obedience over sacrifice obviously went over your head?
By the way, God said He does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous; your prayers, praises, offerings/vows/tithes/seed sowing, good works, etc., are tainted by your sins and are filthy abominations to God Meaning that if you are not first righteous, all your prayers, your offerings, your petitions, your praises, etc., never reach God. What this means is that no amount of praying, fasting, seed sowing, church-going, praising, vows, tithes, or offerings, can get anyone close to the power of God.
You claim that what you call sacrificial givings do something in his life. And I wonder by what power except the one that drains his resources in order to line the pockets of her gods of men?
Rom.5.14 - Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. Rom.5.15 - But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. Rom.5.16 - And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. Rom.5.17 - For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Rom.5.18 - Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Rom.5.19 - For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Rom.5.20 - Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: Rom.5.21 - That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Corn is a very popular street snack in Nigeria, and I doubt there's a Nigerian who does not like corn. As for me, I always look forward to corn season. I like my corn boiled, but I can't decide between ube and coconut, which I prefer to pair with my corn.
So, how do you prefer your corn? Boiled or roasted? Which is your favourite pair?
Fryx: Got a chipped tooth about ten years ago, and those brown stain have cover the chipped parts ever since.
They don't bother me in any other way, except that I love grooming myself and those stains irritates me.

Deeprooted: After the declaration of state of emergency in the agricultural sector, our health sector needs such immediate attention.
I was in a public health center in the federal capital territory and my experience was not good.
First is the attitude of the health workers. These people need to be given orientation on how to relate with people. They insult patients, very rude and lack empathy.
Secondly, my perspective changed when I see the level of work these guys were handling. A single doctor on call attending to 83 patients! The doctors and nurses are obviously worn out, hence their attitude ( not a justification though)
I sheded tears for 3 children brought in but could not get the attention of the doctor because she was clearly tired and completely worn out. She was the only one in the entire Emergency Paediatric Unit (EPU).
I then saw why most of my doctor friends left the country.
If you're healthy, you don't know what God is doing for you.
More health workers are urgently needed but I was informed that no new doctors were employed in the last few years back despite the departure of most consultants from the country.
Pray you don't fall sick!
Now you know... It takes a lot to train to become a doctor and then the government tries to bully you after such struggles and sacrifices with peanuts as pay and ungodly regulations and laws
I rarely make this hairstyle and I don't know why. Anyway, recently I made it and the compliments I've gotten are too much. I can't even walk down the road in peace Seriously, I thought men only liked it when women wore expensive wigs.
Or maybe they think it's low maintenance, so they stand a chance?? No, I don't think so. Even women complimented the hairstyle☺️
Brings out the beauty of the lady in such a way that she cannot be ignored.
His wife got a job in the UK which pays her about £30,000/ annum. Husband will be going with the wife along with thier 3months old baby as a dependent. How do you think this man can cope nursing thier baby for God knows how long before he gets something doing.
On a second thought he will rather let the wife go while he stays back with the baby in Nigeria managing his business. He's not doing do bad in Nigeria.
My people what's the best option he should take that would favour him and his family?.
Give no foothold to satan and what God has joined together, let not man put asunder. Get a trustworthy fellow to handle your business. Pack your things and move with your wife but be ready to hustle it to get a job too really fast before satan will also use that against you and cause quarrels.
obembet: My dear Nairalanders, kindly save me from this loan Marchant. I was deceived by Thier agent.
Please ignore my typing errors.
According to Otijah
I have been borrowing from this app for sometime now until I decided to stop due to the one week duration they do give and the high interest rate during this interval
After 2days an agent of them chatted me up and told me about the increment in my loan to 50k and and extended duration of 1 month, I told him if its not what he said then I will wait he said no problem. He even said I should carry him along while doing it.
I went to the app clicked on it and saw 55k to pay 66k and after I did it I received an alert of 38k in my account instead of the 55k and a one week duration at that to pay 66k.
I chatted that agent to tell him about the outcome but he ignored me, I called him up he refused to answer, I told him I want to refund the money because I don't need it, as I did tell him initially yet he was ignoring me.
After three days I contacted another agent of theirs and told him about the incident he later gave me an account number to refund the principal, which I did immediately
Fast forward to one week later these people started threatening the hell of my life that I must pay those interest, that is non of their business. One even openly told me that they are trained to Deceive their customers and tell them lies do at to attract them.
Even till today am still receiving threatening messages from them
please I need an appropriate place to channel this. thanks
A woman loses respect for a man or her current boyfriend once she starts getting intimate with someone that is richer and more well to do than him
Hear my story out before you judge me:
So I lost my ex about 2 months back when she became a Personal Assistant to a serving senator, I just noticed that she stopped appreciating the little money and things that I usually gave her and did for her since she started working with the senator.
She was staying at her parents house in Abuja but recently rented a place for herself and furnished it to taste, I was shocked and I asked how a girl that just started a personal assistant job with a senator and a salary of just 120k per month is able to rent a self contained apartments of about 750k per year and even furnished it to taste, she got very angry and said I should be happy for her that if I can't do it atleast she did it herself.
She has also never allowed me to stay in the house 🏠🏡 for once not to talk of coming to visit her
Brother did you even ask how she got the job in the first place
Kirchoffs: I stay alone in a room and parlor self contain here in Lagos , although we have constant light, I have been in this area for less than 2year and light is at least 23-24 hrs per day.
I use 7000 naira to buy Nepa units on the 28th June and it’s finished already today being 12th of July, note that I don’t use anything that draws power in my house .
UPDATE!!!!
So I went to Nepa office today and I was told that there is a debt of 65k on the prepaid meter, each time I recharge Nepa takes off 60% from me for the debt settlement.
Now my question is, am I supposed to be paying a debt I don’t owe or is this the duty of the landlord.
Go and discuss with your landlord or ask to be placed on a separate meter.
questioner: My mum has people staying with her - my niece, an extended family member and a close family friend and her daughter. We are okay with it cos it ensures she always has company and reduces the need to always travel to check on her.
Recently the monthly subscription I do on the router at home, which usually has carry over data by the time it expires, now lasts about a week before they start calling me to renew Everybody in the house denied being the cause of the data drain.
Last week, I came to spend some days at my mum's and first thing I did was to install a network tracker to monitor. Long story short, I discovered the excessive consumption was from my niece but that's not the major issue. She was visiting porn sites which was draining data but that's still not the major prob. My problem was the frequency and how long she spent on porn daily.
The day I came, after she retreated to her room, the porn streaming started and didn't stop until the family member sharing a room with her came back at night. The next morning once the other lady left for work, she continued with the porn until it was time to leve for her lessons. Once she came back in the afternoon, she did some chores, ate, sat around the sitting room for a while and went inside and boom the porn resumed until the other girl came around hours later. This was practically the routine for the 4 days I stayed there.
The day I was to leave I told my mum that I observed the drain came from my niece and blocked her from the router. She called my niece and questioned her but she denied knowing anything about it, I spared her blushes by saying sometimes apps have background processes that consume data without the owner knowing.
Ever since, I have been wondering if I handled the situation properly. I didn't confront her about it cos I was concerned about the embarrassment she will feel for a male family to find out about her secret. She might even assume I have told my mum or my elder bro (her dad), which might weigh her down emotionally.
Also, I am concerned if this is a sign of promiscuity, she will be 17 next month And aside the fact that she's quite tall, she might as well pass for a 14 year old. She's barely endowed for her age- bottomline, not the kind of girl, you will associate with waywardness.
My question is 1. Would it have been better if I had confronted her 2. Is this a possible sign of promiscuity ? - if so, I will suggest mum sends her back to her Dad cos I am not sure at her advanced age she should be dealing with issues like this, to avoid stories that touch later on
Hmmm... Your concerns are great... But based on the narration you gave it could be worse, what if she's videoing and uploading her own videos? Talk to her about it... Counsel her... And pray for her...
SultanOfPuna: Religion has turned my mother into a shadow of herself. Ever since our teenage years my mother was not the churchy type. We are raised Catholics Back then she was active and bubbling.
all of a sudden my mother left Catholic faith and started messing around with different churches. This has cause countless rift between us, my dad and elder sister have done everything possible but my mum is too brainwashed by these Pentecostal pastors.
How can someone be attending Christ embassy and winners chapel?? I Heard she wants to join mountain of fire but changed her mind. Everytime church, church, church Yet she never gain anything from it I have been sending her money for her for upkeep since November last year only to come back home February this year and discovered she donates everything to different churches
I feel she might have a mental disorder and I don't know how to save her. She literally spends all the money in church donation tithe and all those craps. And those pastors always calling her to come for one program or the other. I don't know what to do
When you think you've arrived and know too much then you'll find out that you know nothing at all. Be careful how you use your mouth and what you say about your mum, cos you might not know the depth of her sacrificial givings and the things it's doing even in your own life.
Nazgul: A member of a church underwent a major operation, and his medical bill was N245,000. And he couldn't afford it.
His brother went to the Pastor on Sunday and told him to assist. The Pastor picked the microphone and told the church that our brother needs N245,000 to settle his medical bill.
Members began to donate.
After donations, what was realized was N760,000. And after the church, the Pastor counted N245,000 and gave the brother to the sick person, and then he put the balance into the church account.
The sick person's family are aggrieved. They're of the opinion that members raised that money for their brother and not the church so the church has no right to keep back any amount given to their brother. Cos the announcement was specifically to raise money for the sick brother.
The pastor is saying that they requested for 245k and he has given it to them. So whatever is left belongs to the church.
Is the pastor right?
Or is he greedy?
Contributions are welcomed.

PapaGfad: It is no more news that marriages have lows and high time and several events take place that makes couples feel so much pressure and feel choked in marriage. And of course, the usual line of action is to find 'solace' in some available shoulders.
However, gone are the days when these available shoulders understand boundaries and even though they may be 'providing succour' to the wife or husband, they still at least understand certain boundaries. For instance, for no reason will I keep a married woman on the phone at night(especially anything from 8.30pm) when she is under her husband's roof no matter how close we are. It is a brocode law for me.
But how come these days, you will find another married man, engaging another married woman under the roof of her husband on calls deep into the hours of the night?
Here is my thought, if a woman were to be having issues with her husband(aside from physical attack o) and she calls me at night when she should be on bed with the husband ,is it not reasonable for me to encourage the woman to put efforts into resolving the issue rather than cowardly running into my arms for solace at least for that night by simply postponing our calls till day time?
Or even if there were to be no issues, does it not look odd to be deeply engaged in cozzy calls with a married fellow in the deep of the night?
I am just wondering if I am overthinking this or perhaps it is just that people don't care anymore about these things?
You're not overthinking most of them nowadays skip premarriage counselling sessions
naice: I find myself facing a difficult situation in my marriage and would greatly appreciate your insights and advice. The issue at hand revolves around my wife's unwillingness to listen to me. I'm at a loss as to why she behaves this way, and it's starting to take a toll on our relationship.
To provide some context, my wife has a strong-headed personality, which often leads to conflicts between us. No matter how gently I communicate my concerns or requests, she seems to disregard them and even does the opposite. This behavior frustrates me and leaves me questioning our compatibility.
One possible explanation I've considered is her background as an orphan. She lost her parents at a young age and had to take on the responsibility of caring for herself and her siblings. While I understand the challenges she faced, it seems like her self-reliance has translated into a resistance to accepting input or guidance from others, including me.
At this point, I have contemplated divorce, but there's a significant factor holding me back: our children. I love them deeply and cannot bear the thought of being separated from them. As much as her strong-headedness affects me, I firmly believe that domestic violence is never an option.
I'm reaching out to this community for reasonable opinions and advice on how to navigate this situation. Have any of you experienced a similar dynamic in your relationships? How did you cope with a spouse who doesn't listen? Are there effective strategies to foster better communication and understanding in such circumstances?
Thank you in advance for your support and guidance. Your insights will be invaluable in helping me make an informed decision about the future of my marriage."
Go for marriage guidance and counselling.... But wait ooh.... How did you guys even get married in the first place?
A married woman experiences public humiliation within her community for allegedly engaging in an extramarital affair with her neighbour.
A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment individuals of a community paraded a mother of six (6) over an alleged affair.
While specific details about the event remain unclear, reports suggest that the woman, who is said to be pregnant, was discovered in a compromising situation with her suspected lover.
The video, which has gained significant attention, shows the woman being scorned and paraded while being taunted and insulted.
I'm yet to see the crime she committed that warrants such kind of treatment. Very wrong thing they've done to that woman.
ExAngel007: The announcement raised eyebrows and sparked a heated debate among online users, with some expressing shock, while others questioned the sincerity of her claim.
Controversial Nigerian lawyer, Ifunanya Excel, has taken to Twitter to reveal the cost of her brideprice.
In a tweet that caught the attention of many netizens, Ifunanya boldly declared, “My bride price is $15 million.”
The announcement raised eyebrows and sparked a heated debate among online users, with some expressing shock, while others questioned the sincerity of her claim.
Ifunanya went on to explain that her virginity was the primary factor behind the exorbitant sum demanded for her hand in marriage.
She wrote;
“My Bride Price is $15 Million because I’m still a virgin,” seeking to justify the astronomical figure.
OluwaLina1: Happy sunday nairalanders. I moved to a new area(Student area) and decided to attend a nearby church.
These are what I noticed.
-- I was the only one that used scarf.Even the choristers and the female ministers didn't use scarf.
--Almost all the female members are putting on trousers, ladies that put on gowns/skirt are not up to 20%. I was even surprised that the two female ministers and the female choristers also put on trouser to climb the church alter.
--During prayer intersection,I noticed everybody were praying in tongues and it seems am the only person not filled with the holy spirit to speak in tongues. Even when we were asked to pray on our offering, people still prayed in tongues.
And it just seems I'm odd among them or is it that am not modernized?
Hmmm... I for just read commot face... But make I sha talk... From your post, it's quite unclear how your character as ab individual is, but I'm here thinking 🤔 you went to church and didn't comprehend what was going on, instead of you to ask the right questions there to recieve enlightenment or clarity, you bring the matter come here...
Kayceenaz: Whenever news filters in online/offline about a man either alleged or proved to have cheated on his wife, abundant outbursts follow. Often, "Men are polygamous in nature" is argued. It is believed recognizing this reality by the man's wife and other women (single/married) prepares them to accept cheating, ridding the matter of seriousness critics give. I disagree. Men are neither polygamous (nor monogamous) in nature.
First, a man's polygamous tendencies are from nurture, not nature. This habit of justifying marital unfaithfulness, in the Christian context, by citing African culture is misplaced. Here, African men in the remote past chose to be with or marry more than one woman for social and economic reasons. To highlight their affluence to society and have more hands to help in their farming/subsistent agriculture venture. A husband who cheats on his wife makes a choice to succumb to temptation. If polygamy is actually natural to men, then we would have no cases of monogamous men.
Second, every man contains reason and instincts according to neurology and biology. Reason is a human being's edge over lower animals like dogs, goats, sheep, lions and so on, although we share trait of instincts with them. Someone may argue our bodily instincts, a biological feature passed from parents to offspring, push us toward pleasure and preservation of the human specie. This can extend to being with more than one woman, hence men are polygamous. This view is myopic. True, our instincts can suggest such but our reason can say no when we've intentionally developed it to morally serve us that way. Thus, a man chooses to be polygamous when he develops his reason to serve him accordingly. Humans, men are not the at the mercy of their instincts, as promoters of "Men are polygamous in nature" opine. A man can choose to obey or disobey his instincts courtesy of his reason.
Clearly, idea of "Men are polygamous in nature" is used by men who have a women weakness, refuse to take personal responsibility and work on it. They hide under culture and science unintelligently to secure tolerance of their bad behaviour (in Christian view) by women and society.
PaNnamdi: With the the rampant and diverse rate insecurity in nigeria, I think it has become necessary for states in Nigeria to operate state police forces solely under the command of the state governor.
Do you support the establishment of state police in Nigeria? share your views in comments.
There are as much disadvantages to advantages of that, so you want to give them personal killing squad to be able to do their dirty bidding?
OkwuMajesty: My regret: being too anxious and not assertive enough, I regret not coming out sooner. Wasted years worrying about it, worrying about pretty much everything. All the time, being too afraid to live.
I used to think my family can't survive without me, so I wasted enough time trying to be almost everything possible for them, but I was totally wrong.
