There are over 5000 Gods being worshipped by humans, how do you know that your God is the Creator?
I won't really say the "right one" because, to every worshipper, his or her God is the "right" one. But I will say the "Creator" because there can only be one Creator. So, even if you say your God is the right one, it doesn't mean he/she/it is the Creator. It means, therefore, that knowing the Creator is one thing and chosing to worship him or not to worship him is another.
The heavens, the earth, the seas and everything in them were created. Man did not fall down from the sky. Man was created. Even the sky itself was created.
So, of all the gods, over 5000, according to some people, how do you know that your own God is the Creator of the heavens, the earth, the seas and everything in them?
El Elohe Yahshrael! Hallelu YAH!
The taste of the pudding is in the eating. God must be supernatural for Him to be the creator of all that exists. He has to exist outside of everything else but nothing exists outside of Him. If this axiom is accepted then we must also accept that the only way to know the truth about who God is is examine the religions that grant practitioners access to the supernatural. The religions that Grant's access to the supernatural are the religions that provide a means for it to be falsified or corroborated and that narrows down the religions. Next there are two alternatives. We could decide to investigate the spiritual practitioners of religions that grant access to the supernatural and do a personality comparison or we could venture into these religions with supernatural access starting with the oldest of them.
It is only in a diligent examination of the supernatural implications of a religion can we know which is the truth.
Nigerian woman sends her husband packing in UK after he called police on her for threatening to kill him.
A yet to be identified Nigerian couple were the center of attention in their UK community following a misunderstanding that ensued between them.
According to a source, the man brought the woman from Nigeria and trained her in the university to earn a better pay for their family.
They recently had an arguement and she threatened to kill her husband with a weapon which led him to call the police.
She thereafter fumed at his reaction and sent him packing. The man called his friends to help him pack his belongings amidst her rudeness to his friends and neighbors.
This is amongst one of the reasons most of us men living oversea have a rethink about bringing their wives over.
The rethinking should not be about bringing your wives overseas the rethinking is about marrying monsters. Many ladies are beautiful monsters with holes in between their legs. When you marry such a monster you are rest assured to have a miserable life. Whether you travel or not your life will be miserable when you marry a monster. So stop looking for nice backside, fine face and round boobs. Stop checking how presentable a lady is or not. Look for a godly woman that will support you through thick and thin and be submissive to you. If you by mistake marry a monster you will be miserable.
RedTarantula: My neighbour is confused now and needs advise. His wife wants wants to relocate from Nigeria but he does not want to and this is causing tension. Best advise to them is needed
If the woman is adamant and the man is adamant as well, even after discussions, then it is better they go their separate ways. This is what happens when people plunge into marriage based on frivolous reasons and do not spend time discussing future prospects and the rules of marital engagement.
If husband and wife are committed to biblical rules of marital engagement, the woman understands she has yield to her husband and do his bidding but if the rules of marital engagement are based on the liberal "woke" values grounded on "equality", then the woman can pursue her ambitions even at the expense of her marriage.
Let them both search themselves and agree. If they cannot agree let them both separate. It is better to separate in peace than to live in pieces.
My close friend is planning on getting married to a prostitute unknowingly
My friend has been away for some time came back last year. Don’t know how they started the relationship He introduced her to me last month as the lady he is planning on taking as a wife The thing is I know this girl very well and she knows me I have seen her countless times standing out looking for customers in a popular hotel
I know more than three people who have slept with this said girl even me myself I have (ok story for another day)
The thing is I don’t know if it’s nice to tell my friend what I know or I should just mind my business
For some time now she has stopped going to the spot to look for customers
She looks so innocent
Dude you can be rest assured that your friend will one day find out and he will forever distrust you because you knew what he was plunging into and you didn't inform him. Dude tell your friend about what he is about to plunge into. So that he can make his decision knowing that the woman he is about get hitched to is someone you sef don lash.
GoooodHardDick: So APC and PDP depends absolutely on rigging the election in other to win?
This is the corruption we're all talking about but they'll fail woefully next year. Obi will sweep the entire goe political zones with a very wide gap and thus become the president
Dude you are speaking like you just got to Nigeria, like yesterday. How have all the past presidents in Nigeria since 1999 won elections? Is it by the will of the people? Has it not always been by rigging? The North for example has always been a center of rigging. Your sentiment does not matter, no matter how true or laudable it is. Provided our political system is unchanged another crook will take the presidential seat. Can't you guys see? The presidential race is basically between Atiku and Tinubu. All others are in the race for nothing because these two are prepared to rig the election to pieces and they have the billions upon billions to do so. If Tinubu wins, Nigeria will burn because the miscreants on the side of Atiku will commence killings nationally to delegitimize the Tinubu government and if it is the other way around and Atiku wins the Tinubu war machine will kick into full gear and killings will resume all over Nigeria to delegitimize Atiku's regime. This strategy worked perfectly with GEJ and Buhari and it will continually be used in subsequent administrations. Where does this leave your dearly beloved Peter Obi? I say it again, if you are not prepared to go out there and rig on behalf of Peter Obi all this social media campaign will all be for nothing because you can be 101% sure that Atiku and Tinubu will rig the elections like crazy. These two monsters are old, they are rich, obscenely rich and they have nothing to lose as they are both nearing their graves so they are prepared to do anything and everything to win what will for them be a "last shot at the presidency".
GoooodHardDick: Is Peter Obi the only one contesting this election? That's the question that should be on the lips of every Nigerian who keeps seeing these daily attacks. If Obi wasnt positioned to win, why then are all the powers that be jointly fighting him? These guys have nothing to use against him, so they resort to attacking the morale of his followers. When you see the people who collectively destroyed this nation attacking just one man, follow that one man blindly. E get why
Oga if you cannot rig for Peter Obi forget it he will lose gallantly.
Kwanza: 2023: Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso dismiss poll result, say Peter Obi can only win on social media
If you cannot rig for Peter Obi just shup up and watch Atiku and Tinubu slug it out for the presidency. All the zombidients shouting up ans down cannot rig for Peter Obi and that is the only way to win elections in Nigeria. Whoever told you elections are free and fair is a blatant liar. The greatest "rigger" wins!
wisdomkid: You may likely be a stupid person forever. You see goodness, instead of commending it, you're here screaming "scammer". Wonder how people around you, perceive you and whether they question your intelligence. Because what you're displaying online truly brings it to question.
Peace and Love.
Why bro, why? After demolishing the lady you ended it with "peace and love"!
VOsimhen144: Who takes Nigerian girls serious these days ? My current girlfriend is from Cameroon. Her name is Belva. This babe dey show me the real definition of true love.
Yea! And because she is from another country she cannot cheat on you abi. Lol. I sorry for you. You premium tears are loading up. If she is not unspoiled, pristine, with good home training, chaste and spiritually clean she will mess up your life badly. Many men who lament about their wives first believed their wives to be good women until they showed her true colours.
The last time I brought a true life story here I got a lot of amazing answers. Thank you.
Here is another one, people reach out to me for my opinion regarding their situation, since I’m into counseling and sometimes I need the opinions of others. That is why I share this stories here.
A man named Emeka is married to a woman called Sade and they’re blessed with 4 beautiful kids, two boys and a girl.
Emeka, has been an amazing husband for the past 16years of their marriage and Sade too. I’m narrating this the way I was being told.
They both work and their family has been one with few issues just like other marriages. Something strange happened last month and this is about to change their lives forever.
Sade, make a confession to her husband. You’re guessing what it is hmmmmm.
Emeka is not the father of their first child, Emeka found this hard to believe and went out to do a DNA test but it came out to be true and he never suspected her for ones.
Sade is begging and asking forgiveness and everyone is asking Emeka to forgive and not break the marriage but Emeka is in a state of confusion.
He came to me and you can see the level of pain on is face. I asked him a simple, Have you forgiven her and he said Yes. I ask another one, do you see yourself trusting her or wanting your marriage to work? And he went numb asking me what he should do. There is so much to write and I don’t want it to be lengthy.
What will you advise?
First, Emeka should work with the wife and family of the wife to find the true father of the first child and ensure that he accepts responsibility for his actions.
Second, Emeka should conduct DNA tests for all the children and confirm whether all the other kids are his or not.
Third, Emeka should conduct a family meeting involving the parents of Sade and his own parents to explain the situation to them and ensure that both families are aware of the situation.
Fourth, Emeke needs to go on a retreat to pray, to release pent up emotions and to heal.
Fifth, Emeka should return to wife but be careful with trusting her like he used to. If she could do such an abomination and keep it to herself for 16 years she can do a lot more damage.
Imlost: Good evening everyone, I had to create an account and put this out in order to get this out of my chest.
I got married to my pastor's daughter last 2 weeks ago and right now, all I think of is to divorce her as I can't lie to myself that I'll continue with the marriage.
Here's the issue:
All through my life, I've always been a virgin due to the fact that I'm a very religious person.
I finally got to wed the love of my life 2 weeks ago. We had met at a friend's wedding and it was like love at first sight for the both of us.
She is the perfect woman and has all the qualities I had always imagined In a woman.
After our wedding 2 weeks ago, I got to have our first time 4days after the wedding.
Even though it was my first time, it just didn't feel right to me (I've had people discuss about virgins having tight virgina, and the hymen being broken, etc.).
And so, I jokingly asked my wife who her first was (I wish I never did).
She got a little bit excited and told how she started having sex at 13 while she was in SS1 with one of her senior in SS3.
She also told me how she had 3 boyfriends in the university and also about her ex in her former place of work.
In all, she had 5 body counts. she asked me about my sexual experience too and which I told her that I'm a virgin, and she was my first.
She got silent and the environment was a bit quite. Well, we were like that until sleep drifted us both to sleep.
Ever since then, my love for her has dwindled.
I have always have respect for this girl and right now, I feel cheated.
Agreed, I never discussed anything about her being a virgin or not. I just assumed she was since she's my pastor's daughter.
Right now, I can't divorce her because I feel like it will seem like I'm disrespecting her dad, who is my pastor.
And also, I feel like I should cheat outside my marriage and have fun just like she did in her youthful years so that we can be even.
I am 29 while my wife in question will be 26 next month.
I'm I being childish? Or will I get over it?
Anytime I look at her, I always look at her with some disgusted look on my face.
I wish I never asked her about her past in the first place and I wish I could just erase the memory of her past in my head.
Sorry bro. You did not check the specs of the market you bought. Now that you have buy market you have to stick with it. Don't ever cheat. If you cheat and you die in the process, lake of fire direct. You close your eyes and got married and now you open your eyes to see that you married a semi olosho. Bro you need to double your efforts prayer. Prayer for your wife. Pray that none of the men that have enjoyed her pucci in the past never encounter her again because if they do you will be the proud father of another man's child. This is why it is advised that couples should go for deliverance before getting married. Dude you and your wife need deliverance...both of you should go and your knees and ask God for mercy for your marriage to last.
gameova: Good evening everyone. I'll make it short and simple. I'm 31 years old guy. I really don't know what's wrong with me. I think someone should suggest a very good pastor to me for deliverance. I'm basically not progressing in life. Can't afford to feed even once daily. Unmarried and not in a relationship cos most relationships ended due to my broke state
I'm a graduate of public administration 2:2, since I served in 2017, I have been basically jobless. Can't even boast of 1k right now. My mates we finished together in school are way ahead of me financially, maritally and otherwise. Some of my friends that are into Yahoo advised me to join but because of the fear of God I refused. Now I see them buying cars and building houses and travelling abroad while am left with nothing. The economy is terrible. I need a breakthrough please. I'm tired of living like this. It's not like I'm not making effort, I am. I've put my hands in some business here and there but it's all been fruitless. I need suggestion of a strong man of God to pray for me because I'm losing it honestly and seriously depressed. God bless.
Bro you can make it. You have to get close to God. Forsake any known sin that you commit. Check online for MFM deliverance prayers and start praying them every morning and every midnight...others have made it and so can you. Good speed!
advanceDNA: ..u have reaped the rewards of marrying retired olosho or retired runs girl......old habits die hard, so it should be a no brainer that you have to pay and beg before you get to have sex.......
carry you cross like a strong man that you are..double your hustle...no woman is tied to your success...
Abuildlso, sexual discipline and pray....cant u fast for 3 months if your life depend on it...u wont die if you dont have sex... be disciplined to the point that she will see she has no control over you with her vagína...
manchyme: Well, I didn't know. I never caught her stealing from me and she hardly lie to me too. But just this morning, after 4yrs of dating and 2yrs married, I confirm she can actually lie and still insist she's saying the truth. You remember Shaggi... It wasn't me.
So, is it possible for a 28yrs old lady not to know that some men jeans has a small pocket just above the pocket? Please is it possible? This is how it started. She needed some change to buy pap and milk for our baby this morning, so I asked her to go collect from my pocket. She came back and said no money in my pocket. I was surprised, I went there brought out the money, and noticed it wasn't the way I kept it, and gave it to her. When she came back, I jokingly asked her if she knows where I brought out that money from, she said no. I asked her if she knows that some of my jeans has that small pocket, she said no. Someone that has been washing my clothes since we met. Someone that is much more observant than I am. My people, is it possible? Omo, this lady vehemently denied that she ever knew such pocket exist. I didn't say she stole from me, I just asked if she knew such pocket is there. And I have ever kept 5k in the small pocket and noticed someone came there, probably just counted it and put it back and na only two of us be adults for house. She continually denied ever knowing such pocket. I didn't say she stole but for such cheap lie, for my language anyone that can lie like that will also steal. So I said let me ask, is it possible?
Bro she is your wife and she is human...God will elevate you so that your wife can take enough of your money whenever she pleases.
Miravik900: So b*tches out there will be telling them simps not to judge a woman's past as she might have turned a new leaf! Guyman that is where you fail once a hoe is always a hoe. Flee from any lady with more than 2 body counts
With more than two body counts? So you can marry the one in the picture abi? See how those guys are literally defiling her vigorously. As for me and my sons we will only do virgins.
Foreverdope: A Nigerian man who recently got married became overtly emotional when he caught his wife cheating with his friend.
He almost broke down crying in a video making the rounds online after nabbing his wife and friend in a hotel.
The distraught man said he has been suspecting that the two of them after noticing some sneaky behaviour.
was gathered that the couple tied the knot few weeks ago, so the discovery left him totally devastated.
According to the husband, he had earlier warned his friend named Dennis to stay away from his wife after seeing that they were getting close.
He, however didn’t know the situation continued up until the moment he caught them red-handed in a hotel room.
In the video, he could be seen chiding his friend while making him to open his room. He found his wife hiding in the bathroom and he asked his her why she decided to be unfaithful.
Sixfiguresmart: Notwithstanding, You can clearly see that allah could stoop as low as blowing his spirit into a woman's vagina rather than by providential outworking as the Bible states.
Dude how could you do this to Islam? You mean Allah opened Mariam's legs wide and blew her p◇cci. Wow.
Wilgrea7: Ok.. So just to be clear, we're going with a God who knew the end from the beginning. An omniscient God. Ok. Several problems right off the bat.
1) You're making reference to multiple possible timelines, and saying the one we live in, is one of the possible timelines in which man fell. This statement is not backed up by any biblical or scientific data. I don't agree with it.
2) The fact that an omniscient God would choose to create Adam, knowing quite well that it would lead to his fall, and the multiplication of sin, while also blaming adam for the offense, is one I find highly manipulative. I've given an example of this before.
if you know the computer you're about to create is going to blow up, in the future, and still go ahead to create it, you have no right to blame the computer. A God knowing the future means freewill cannot exist, meaning Adam, was always fated to fall, except God's knowledge of the future was wrong, which it cannot be.
Your claim of omniscience and freewill are not compatible. Ignoring the freewill analogy, this still does not hold up. You seem to be trying to address a different argument. God choosing to judge humans at the end of time or 2000 years ago or right now is not the point.
We know according to the Christian doctrine, he is supposed to come and judge us all. It's not about judgement. It's not about our freewill. It's about him. God, choosing to let the sin he so hates, multiply. Why wait till a thousand, a billion, 10 or even 100 billion people before you pass judgement on the sin you hate so much?
You made reference to the time period for the exam. And I showed you why it doesn't add up. Perhaps you may have missed the point. So let me explain again.
A teacher grades the exam after it has been completed is it not so? God passed judgement on adam and eve after they had clearly failed the test. We can say they were graded. And I said that's about as far as the classroom analogy goes. For all intents and purposes, the grading of an exam indicates the end of the exam.
Except you're trying to insinuate that after Adam and eve's test ended, a new one started for all of humanity, for which the time period is unknown. But that still brings me to my question. Why let the test go on so long, and let sin multiply, if you hate it so much?
Our freewill does not in any way interfere with God's ability to have passed his judgement 2 generations after adam and eve. Increasing the population only increases the sin you claim to hate. Why let the exam go on for that long, allowing more and more people to join and possibly also fail, if you hate the failure itself so much?
I can agree with this.
My bad. What i was trying to refer to, was the fact that the grading of the test, shows the test is over. Since as you said, the teacher would not interfere. I was wrong for saying it was an interference. Apologies.
I only gave that example in response to your "examination analogy". As we know, most, if not all of our exams can be attempted multiple times. That's why I gave the example. But i get your point.
I don't see how my conclusion is logically flawed. Let's use statistics. Let's say 2 out of 3 humans eventually commit sin. And the population increases from 3, to 300,000. The amount of sin has also increased, from 2 to 200,000 albeit an increase in population. Do you honestly want to tell me that a god, knowing that as the population increases, the number of sinners increases, really didn't allow the sin to increase?
Sure, the population of non-sinners might have increased, but the population of sinners increased nonetheless.
If I know that 2 out of 3 puppies will come out with a deformity, and I could stop my dog from having more puppies, being the owner of the dog, do you really want to tell me that I, who had the ability to stop the deformities didn't allow the number of deformed puppies to increase?
Please note the difference between allowing something to happen (passive, although having the ability to stop it), and making/facilitating something happen (active).
Also, you seem to be making a somewhat bold assumption. That original sin, which is the sin inherited by adam, did not exist, meaning humans have the ability to be holy simply by not disobeying God, as you said in the case of abel. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Your critique lacks basis. You cannot fault the veracity of my premises within the Judeao-Christian worldview and you cannot attack the coherence of my argument. There is nothing you do against a truism despite your feeble attempts. As an atheist you can choose to critique my argument outside the judeo-Christian worldview but doing so would automatically render the question invalid...if the Judeo-Christian worldview of creation is wrong then the question about why God hates sin and yet allow it multiply would be utterly invalid. You need to assume the correctness of the Judeao-Christian worldview to agree that there is a God, He created man, He hates sin, He allowed man sin and He allowed my multiply on the face of the earth. If you make the slightest attempt to argue outside the Judeao-Christian worldview you automatically invalidate the question to start with.
Wilgrea7: First of all, an exam is planned. It is intended. Most, if not all Christians, agree that the fall of man was not God's intention. He created man to rule over the planet, and eating the fruit messed up that plan and brought the fall of man. So that doesn't really follow.
God being omniscient, knows all the possible timelines Adam could have lived and one of those timelines was the one wherein Adam fell in the manner he fell and lost dominion. So you are wrong here. Paul hinted at this when he referred to Jesus as being slain from the foundation of the world. It indicated that Jesus already knew what the future would be for him given the decision of Adam.
Wilgrea7: Again, the test analogy fails, because it doesn't take into account several things, like satan's influence, the nature of sin, and the exponential increase of the population, which also increased sin exponentially.
Again, like I said to someone else, I am abstracting from reality. I obviously did not have to account for satan to answer the question. The question asked why GOD allowed sin multiply even though he hates it. You can answer the question without recourse to the origin of sin. You only need to highlight the fact that men are free-agents, whose deeds will be punished or rewarded by a just judge who will not interfere in the deeds of men. Also I need not say anything about rising population because my position holds true logically if there are 1000 people on earth or there are 10,000,000,000 people on earth.
Wilgrea7: I'm going to be generous and try to merge your teacher exam analogy with the biblical story so you'll see my point. Let's say it is indeed a test. Adam and eve are the initial students. Sin is the wrong answer on the test. And let's say God, hates wrong answers, with passion You claimed God does not interfere until the test is over. He lets the candidates do what they want, until it's time for grading. He also claims to love the students. Ok, Now let's begin. Adam and eve were in the garden, and satan came to tempt them. Ignoring satan's influence for a second. The instruction was not to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They are the fruit, and failed the test.
satan tempting them was the exam. It didn't have to be satan. It could have been any other entity. That is why I said, bringing in satan into the argument is irrelevant to arriving a logical conclusion.
Wilgrea7: God then came down, and graded them, based on that failure, and punished them. That's an interference, and that's as far as your examination analogy can take you.
Lol. Your analysis of the so called analogy you are explaining is funny. How is grading a test tantamount to an interference in an exam? Did you even properly understand my response and the analogy? So if a lecturer marks a script and grades it he has interfered in the exam. Lol.
Wilgrea7: In every normal examination, when a student fails, they're given the opportunity to retake the test. Adam and eve were not given the opportunity to go back into the garden and be tempted again. They were cast out, in their sinful state, which God claimed to hate so much, and allowed to multiply.
In every "normal" examination? "Normal" examination is your construct and is not a necessarily a general phenomenon. A test is determined by the examiner. The examiner decides the rules of the test. Tests that can be retaken are a special case of tests. There could be tests that can only be taken once. It comes down to the dictates of the examiner. Your conclusion that GOD allowed sin multiply does not follow logically at all. Yes, Adam was cast out in his sinful state, yet Abel, Adam's son, who also bore the nature of sin, refused to sin but Cain decided to sin. The case of Abel and Cain provides empirical correspondence that refutes your claim that GOD allowed sin multiply. Sin multiplies because humans decide to sin. satan, like he did in the garden, offers all mankind the choice to enjoy the pleasures of sin or enjoy the pleasures of righteousness and it comes down to mankind to decide whether to sin or not.
Wilgrea7: The example is off my way more points, but these are some of the immediate ones that disqualify it as a related comparison. I've given examples of a gardener, in a garden where his first 2 plants get infected by an infection. And while claiming to hate infections, rather than eliminate the infection then and there, either treating it or starting all over, he chooses to let the infected plants multiply exponentially.
Your argument is basically a strawman-fallacy. You incorrectly presented my argument and proceeded to refute a conclusion that does not follow from my premises.
For clarity sake I will restate my argument:
Premise 1: God created man to be free-agents. Premise 2: Man makes decisions without the direct intervention of any entity. Premise 3: Those decisions are either considered good or evil based on the dictates of GOD. Premise 4: Good deeds attract rewards and evil deeds attract punishment from GOD Conclusion: GOD hates sin yet sin abounds.
Your best shot at criticizing me is to attack the logical coherence of my argument or fault the veracity of my premises.
Broveens42: Very poor analogy ...but the school authorities or examiners do not hate F9s .. infact most would be glad you come back for more tuition.
But god hates sin...why allow it spread... that's the argument of op....
I was merely abstracting from reality. The question was if God hates sin so much then why does he allow it multiply and in my explanation I mentioned that GOD does not interfere in the deeds of men if he is to be a righteous judge. If a judge can control your action and determine what you do with robotic accuracy then he loses the right to judge you. It's that simple. F9 is not a palatable grade. Examiners know it and candidates in an exam know it. If after educating the students they all get F9 the lecturer of that course will be highly disappointed and the school authorities will doubt the professional capacity of the lecturer. So yes, contrary to your hypothesis, lecturers who have the best interest of the students at heart, as GOD does for all humanity, are expected to hate F9 as well. But no matter how much hatred the lecturer has for F9 he is not permitted to influence students in an exam just GOD will not influence the deeds of men.
OJODEL10: What does the bible say about makeup and the use jelweries?
Please with biblical reference(s)
Psalm 119-9 How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. 10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. 11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Jewelry and makeup were traditions learned from the assyrians who were corrupted by the knowledge passed on to them by the angels who left their original habitation (Genesis 6, Book of Enoch 8:1-3). God created gold, diamond and all other precious stones. God also created leaves, barks etc from which dyes could be made...before you put to use the works of God's hands seek His counsel first! Precious stones were used to adorn the garment of Aaron and other materials for the temple on the orders of the LORD (Exodus 39). Hence using gold, diamond etc as ornament is only bad to the extent that you decided not to involve God in its usage. We humans have "physicalized" everything but the truth is that many physical things have spiritual significance and that is why a good Christian will not wear make up or use jewelry because it is an established tradition but only as inspired by the Spirit of God. Many traditions we blindly follow today originated from demon manipulation and hence you are to vet every tradition in the light of the Spirit of God before blindly copying.
DOTian: Go and worship the queen whose army killed millions of Africans if you like. I don't expect better from agbadorian serfs! It's your biz. The lady has made her valid point and around the world, intelligent minds are listening.
What the Queen did is wrong. She should have apologized for the evils of the British empire before she died. I also feel disdain for the deeds of her country and her role in it but I am careful how I treat others in response to their wrongs because I know that I have sinned too and the manner of treatment I mete out to others is the same manner of treatment I will receive. Yes, you will say some evil is greater than others but you and I both know that none of us will judge the dead it is God that will judge and destination of the damned is the same irrespective of the magnitude of the sins committed.
A religious sister got pregnant and the religious leaders decided to discipline her since she was not married.
When the elders met and interviewed her, she told them that she has stayed and remained single for several years and no one is marrying her and she is approaching the age of menopause where she can't get pregnant even if married.
So after reading some religious medical journals on this issues, she decided and did artificial insemination since she too wants a child. She tendered both the medical journals and the medical documents that showed that she has done the artificial insemination from a reputable hospital.
The Sister is pregnant without committing fornication nor adultery with any man.
*NOW, COULD THIS BE A SIN?*
Kindly give your reasons for your answer and if possible back it with Scripture, so that we can learn. You may wish to send to other religious groups and see their position on the matter. What's your position?
She has sinned. She has perverted the course of the LORD and the accuser, satan, will use this against her. Did she get the consent of the sperm donor? If she didn't then it is robbery? If she did then she should have married the donor. God intended children to be produced by the mutual agreement of a husband and a wife but she has perverted the course of God's design. Nevertheless, the LORD God is merciful and kind and has granted her her request to have a child because...children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward (Psalms 127:3). What she did should be discouraged but she should not be banned from the church or from her activities within the church and neither should she be shamed for what she did.
Ayietim: And why does it matter to know who God is?
It matters a lot. Those who don't know who God is are confused. Why?
Everyday, they see people who claim to know who God is, do things that make others ask, "Do these people really know God?"
They also see those who claim to be in a relationship with God exploit their relationships with humans for selfish gains. Selfish gains that fattens the flesh and deaden the spirit.
Why should those who claim to know God prioritize the growth of the flesh that withers everyday, as it matches towards death?
Why do "God's people" hurt fellow humans? And the same people will be quick to tell you that God is a Spirit being whom no one can see.
They will go further to tell you that all humans are created in the image of God. If this were true, then everyone's priority in life should be to treat fellow humans with love without discrimination and realize that what's good for one is good for all.
This should be the number one duty, especially for those who claim to know God. Unfortunately, they are negligent. In their negligence, they're not by their actions, teaching others who God is. Maybe, they don't who God is.
So who is God?
You can know "God" and still do immense evil. It all depends on who you worship as "God". If you worship "Allah" as God then you will find nothing wrong in having as many as 4 wives even though you know it is unfair on the women. If you worship "Money" as God you will eat and drink greed. If you worship satan as God forgiveness will be a sin to you...so what you define as being lawful is determined by who you consider to be the lawgiver. Now if you define good in the Judeao-Christian worldview then you must regard the LORD (true name omitted) as God...but to regard anything as God you must worship that thing and you cannot worship what you have not experienced or encountered.
Layi4real: everybody will b judge on the day of judgement including Jesus and Muhammad and other prophet.
I did not answer the question as a muslim and I did not answer the question in response to a muslim...a Christian question was asked and I answered in a Christian manner. So keep your opinion to yourself.
DOTian: Very strong and erudite Igbo woman! She says it as it is. Calls out the powerfully evil both when they're alive and when they're dead! Doesn't pander to all sorts of wired sentiments. Typical traits of her forefathers. Very very proud of this woman!
Does she do this to all evil persons? Did she call out the evil of her parents when they died and insulted their memory? Surely her parents cannot be sinless. Surely even she herself cannot be sinless...she will receive the same judgement as the people she has judged.
Yungmil: People are born into different family, religion, tribe and culture. I see some families with both Christians and Muslim in it.
My question now is that people who are born into a family of Islam, Hindu, Judaism, paganism and whatever, does it mean they can't make heaven.
Because I know I am a Christian basically because I was born into a Christian home, and I find it difficult to convert to any other religion no matter the amount of preaching, same goes to those born into Islam Hindu and the rest.
Please I need scholars in the house for more clarification.
Jesus is a just judge and He will judge everyone according to their degree of awareness of the truth and there are three main levels of awareness.
The first level of awareness is your conscience. Muslims, Hindus etc who were born into such families and died not hearing the gospel of Christ will be judged by the dictates of their conscience (Romans 2:14-15). So if you know in your conscience what is good to do and you refuse to do it it is a sin unto you (James 4:17).
The second level of awareness is the Law and the Prophets. The Jews were given the law and according Joshua 1:8, the law must be observed and obeyed. Paul himself declared that the Law is spiritual (Romans 7:14). So if a person dies and was not aware of the gospel but was aware of the Law and the Prophets that person will be judged by the Law and the Prophets (Romans 2:12).
The third and highest level of awareness is the gospel as administered by the Holy Spirit. This is the highest level of awareness of the truth. If the Holy Spirit ever convicts you of the truth of the gospel you will not be judged by your conscience and neither will you be judged by the Law rather you will be judged by your level of obedience to the Spirit of God. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14). So if you have been convicted by the Spirit of God and you rebel you cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
It's the one thing God can't stand. The one thing that goes against his nature so much, that an iota of it warrants him to burn you for all eternity. You get the drift.
How did sin come into this world? Well, through Adam and Eve of course. They ate a fruit and it pissed the big sky daddy off.
They had corrupted his perfect design and whatnot. And what does God do?
Being an all knowing God, who is supposed to know the end from the beginning.. he knew they would sin and still made them... But let's not dwell on that.
God also knew, that the very thing he hated, which was sin, would be multiplied millions of folds if Adam and Eve bore children. So what did he do?
A. Make Eve barren so sin stops then and there B. Allow the population of the world, and the sin he so hates, to increase literally billions of folds, so he can send himself to get shanked on a cross a couple thousand years later.
Well.. the answer is unfortunately B. The Christian God seems to have one of the worst damage control measures known to humanity.
It's the equivalent of seeing a small fire in your kitchen, having the ability to put it out right there, but sitting idly by and letting the entire house catch on fire, only to send a bucket of water when the house is about to collapse.
If God hates sin so much, why didn't he get rid of it during the time of Adam and Eve? Why let the thing you hate so much multiply exponentially.. even though you had the power to stop it??
If you had an infection, would you let it consume your entire body before treating it?
If such an action makes absolutely no sense in the real world, then why does it make sense in your religion??
If God gets rid of sin before it happens on what basis will He judge the world? An examiner must not interfere in the exam. He must not tell a candidate "hey you got number two all wrong, try this technique". He must not tell another candidate "hey you go number three right carry on". He must not stop the exam before the stipulated time and He must allow everyone the same amount of resources needed to write the exam. He must not be biased or take sides...this is the basis for the examiner to judge everyone equally using a single standard or marking scheme. So the reason God allows evil to happen is the same reason He allows good to happen so that at the end of the day every man, woman, old and young will receive their reward or punishment as their works may be.
Ken4Christ: Intercession does not save. It can facilitate the process of salvation. It is the preaching of the gospel that saves. No one is saved until he hears the gospel and believe.
If no one interceded, the gospel will be impeded. Preaching is not talking. Preaching is not argument. Preaching is not oration. Preaching is a supernatural affair. That is why some carnal "pastors" shout all they want yet no one understands the crap they are saying because he preaching was not fashioned in the place of prayer and intercession. We have a lot of noise makers today shouting ontop their lungs deceiving themselves that they are preaching when right there in their very own assembly abominations like fornication, adultery, theft, jealousy and other vile works of the flesh are reigning supreme...Preaching must be by the demonstration of spirit and power and the demonstration of spirit and power is only possible when men and women give themselves to communion with the Father in the place of prayer.
So again I say unto thee...without prayer and intercession, your preaching and teaching comes down to enticing words of man's wisdom with no supernatural effect to bring about true repentance and revival. That is why we have thousands of pastors in Nigeria preaching every sunday yet many so called Christians are drinking sin like juice and reproach pervades the land.
