Why can't the railway management adopt the same strategy?

Lagos to ibadan shouldn't be more than 350 kilometers (I stand to be corrected) then they'll estimate the quantity of fuel in liters that can cover 350 kilometers and discharge it into the train's tank.

But no, one manager somewhere will pocket the money and buy half the quantity hoping for a miracle to happen that would take the train to it's destination, thereby risking the passengers life when it gets stocked in a remote bush as a result of an empty tank.

I don't see Nigeria surviving as a country come 2023.

The man said he's been looking for fuel now he finally saw he decided to buy in bulk and store, he has a car he drives to work every day and also has a generating set the family uses in the evening to cool off because of the epileptic power supply.

Now assuming (God forbid) there's an explosion in their flat courtesy of the fuel and the entire family along with other tenants are burnt to death, everyone would blame them for storing fuel at home not knowing that the man was just trying to make life easier for his family hence his decision.

The miserable satanic government would immediately condemn the act and threaten people to stop buying fuel in jerrycans, but they won't address the primary issue behind the decision of the populace to buy fuel in cans by providing uninterrupted electricity and ensuring that the scarcity ends.

There's a permanent spot in hell for our leaders.
