Hello Flaghouse,

The initial BOQ was at 27million last year before we commenced the ground beams and then we had a plan for 2 units 3 bedroom flat.

The client later wanted more value for the land so he requested for rooms upstairs in the roof attic. After revisiting the architectural drawings and introducing a new structural drawing to cater for the change in foundation and upper floor, the BOQ was reviewed to 32 million including external works.

Presently, the BOQ is undergoing variation because of the hike in building materials that happened sometimes this year. This hasnt been concluded, that is why I said 32-35million.

Arc.Efe,

Your comments are valid based on current situation of the country, the revisiting of the architectural and structural drawing I believe will not cost the client anything less than 400k you know our architect and structural people now!!!

Well at that price threshold the finishing will be top notch.

Please can I get your whatsapp number so I can send you a brief, should you get anybody that may be interested .

Regards,

Arc. Efe

This Waste Treatment System I am talking about is a sustainable waste management technique for the handling and treatment of sewage and all grey water sources, as well as biodegradable fractions of municipal solid waste and bio medical waste generated in a hospital.

The system achieves sustainable water conservation and zero-discharge of wastewater to the environment and renewable energy (biogas) production.

The process is anaerobic system way of managing waste. Anaerobic digestion is a controlled
biological degradation process which allows efficient capturing and utilization of biogas (approximately 60% methane and 40% carbon-dioxide) for energy generation.

The Biogas is produced by bacteria through the bio-degradation of organic materials under anaerobic conditions.

This Waste Treatment System is being proposed to address the key disadvantages of traditional sewage treatment plants.

For more info Please contact Mr Seun Olaniyan 08035207445. Tell him you are from Arc. Efe. He will help you out if you have more questions on cost and workability.

Nice concept if integrated in our modern build ,this should be able to save the household an average of N60 to N70k or more in terms of cooking gas and other routine needs for gas in n the house

I know this is a made up story and all of you who commented before me are either foolish and wicked or co authors of the tales by moonlight by the OP. It's as simple as that. What evidence are we talking about; Is it too difficult to report the matter to the metropolitan police which will then report to interpol to get the Emeka for questioning? I guess in all of your own constitution crimes die with time. Imagine the best an educated "Doctor" based in the UK can do; come to NL to tell a gruesome story of a murder you witnessed live? What a shame. I will take this up personally. Nigerian Embassy in UK, The IG of police, Honourable Abike Dabiri, UNEC authorities through its chief security,The families of a young man who lost his life in the circumstance described, The SUG President at that time, and the general public must be on notice. A killer Emeka from UNEC is in the UK. There must be closure.

Assuming the story is true ,it will be difficult to prove that the guy killed somebody, how many people can identify that the emeka was the killer of the security man at the scene of crime over 10 years ago

Wow!

Good narrative.

I graduated from ESUT in 2003 so I'm in the know of what you narrated. In 1999, during second semester exams, we practically jumped over a corpse in a pool of brain and blood to write our exams at the famous AC block.

You see, we are all fugitives from the law of averages. Given enough circumstances and participants in those circumstances, there's bound to be people who will go scot free from whatever crimes they committed. The law of averages rule who will and who will not die in wars, epidemics, natural disasters and sheer accidental deaths.

It is the understanding of this law that make people like me believe there's no god in the religious sense. In that context, therefore, your Emeka might enjoy bliss till he probably dies from natural causes at a very old age while a supposedly righteous person will have his or her life cut short by, perhaps, a police stray bullet.

That's the world for you.

Deep rationalizing, well my take on this issue the said emeka would have repented and God may have spared him for a future purposes a vessel to spread his words and win souls
Life itself is funny, why do bad things happen to good people !!!

Sincerely speaking...a lot of people are really waiting for you to come and force the money out of my hand.

In this line of business, I have never defrauded anybody in my life...both online and offline. And I can bet you...I will never do that.

with my 6yrs of experience in this business nobody has ever threaten me except you.

I know the gimmick of Carpenters...and other labours.

of more than 250 units of coconut planks supplied and condemned by the so called carpenters, at the end of the day i was told they used more than 146 pcs plank. that is 60%. of the plank supplied. I was told they managed to used those ones. so, if you can manage to use up to that then, u should be able to manage the rest.

my conclusion is that if you want a refund, then return all the coconut plank as supplied. then you get your refund.

After you and your carpenter had selected and those ones you think are good, you now left the ones you think are bad for me to come carry and refund you.

coconut plank can't be the same all thru and you compare it with normal plank. it is what they see in the bush they will cut and you can't expect it to come in the same size.

Am not saying...I will not refund you, but pls return all the plank intact the way it was supplied...and you will get you full payment back. so as to give to another person that is willing to buy. you and your carpenter can not fool me at this age.

Very valid postulations, why is it the school authority that arranged the arrest,my questions to the parents are thus

1.when did they notice the pregnancy
2.has their daughter ever complained of the mans overtures
3.why did they not make report to law enforcement agencies or child support groups to take action

Conclusion, the man has been giving the parents money inform of payment in advance of his intentions of marrying the girl either I by joking about marrying their daughter without any objection.

Parents need to watch thier wards closely and monitor any relationship they keep with " supposed uncles / aunties " a lot of sinister things happen in this our country

Before she had the baby, before she got pregnant, before she became resident in Otobo Gbame, this woman belonged somewhere. She needs to return to that somewhere. Its called survival skill!

Humans have innate recall and strive to overcome adversity and survive. If a person is faced with a situation that threatens their security and life and refuses to shift, adjust, repose and remove the threat then they are mentally, spiritually and physically demented and retarded.

Lagos State is a land of survival, you either make it or restrategize and try again. No one should die trying, unless they have lost the instinct for survival.....and in that case they are better off dead than becoming burden and a threat to the security and life of others who strive and beat the odds.

No, Govt must not intervene. If you are not strong enough to find a way out of this and survive then you are weak and unfit for the hustle of Lagos life to begin with....Get out!

Here your talk,so selfish do you for once consider other people's situation,do you really know how hard things are in the country today and you still ask foolish questions

1. Do you know that the South African economy benefited more from this big brother than the Nigerian economy?

2. Do you have voters card? If you don't kindly register as registration starts today.

3. I noticed you all did not vote based on tribe or religious affiliation, can you replicate that in the next general election in 2019?

4. Do you know that one of the reasons the show was hosted in xenophobic South Africa is because Nigeria does not have the logistics? (read PHCN) but you all voted based on logistics, can you also vote based on logistics in the coming elections?

Investment / Re: Corper Remanded In Kirikiri Prisons For Using Employers N3.5m For MMM, Twinkas by Flaghouse1: 7:24pm On Apr 09, 2017
itsdumebi:
A national youth corper is currently languishing at the Kiri-Kiri medium prison in Apapa, Lagos after a failed N3.5 million investment in Twinkas and MMM Ponzi schemes.

Politics Nigeria discovered that the corper, a 2016 Batch B member of the National youth service corps, was arrested and arraigned for embezzlement after operators of the Ponzi schemes failed to return the money, which belonged to the company where he was doing his service.

The young man had hoped to make a quick profit at the end of his service only to end up disappointed. His employers wasted no time in inviting the police into the matter after he failed to return the money. His plight was made public by a colleague, a lawyer, who missed the last community development service (CDS) and took advantage of the group’s WhatsApp platform to explain his absence.

The lawyer, Augustine Ukpo, wrote:

“I was in court representing our Corper member colleague who was arrested and arraigned today before the Agbomalu Magistrate Court involved in N3.5 million embezzlement from his PPA (Place of Primary Assignment).” Giving an update the next day, corper Ukpo wrote on the same platform: “I earlier posted you guys that one (of) our Corper colleague(s) was arrested and arraigned yesterday.

He is now in Kirikiri Medium Prison pending the perfection of his bail conditions. While interviewing the corper member, I noticed bruises all over his body – evidence that he was beaten. He was kept in police custody for more than 24 hours. These got me furious as a lawyer. Even though the corper agreed that he used the money for MMM and Twinkas, his fundamental right should not be compromised. In this vein, I shall be filing a fundamental right action against the employer of the Corper.

Corper Ukpo refused to disclose the name of his client but posted photos showing signs of torture allegedly inflicted on him in a police cell before he was transferred to prison custody.

Do you know if the competition law was in place even NCC can be fined for supporting the increase In price of data if the increase cannot be justified? Or the competition agency can demand a further reduction from the current data price after proper investigation so people can get value for money. It will ensure that price of a commodity in sokoto is the same as in lagos or anywhere. Selling above the approved price is criminal and so many other stuffs. Many sector regulators are against the law

One thing I have come to realise as a people is that we cherish all these MBA certificates without understanding the need to get masters degree, which is to. Broaden ones knowledge and be able to atleast prefer solutions to some practical issues.

I think the major role of the government is to set up a competition law. The European Union has millions of dollars waiting to be given to the competition commission that will take off. All that is required let the national assembly pass the bill and let the president assent. A lot of companies want to come and invest but they keep saying they want a competition law that will protect them from bigger companies and government as well. Period

Just like the data companies were trying to increase price last year because the smaller companies-smile,spwctranet et all were not breaking even since the government was not protecting them from MTN ,GLO
its so unfortunate that issued like this competition bill is not even discussed in the public domain or social media to create enlightenment so that Nigerians should be able to lend their voiced to see the fruition of this bill, rather we will concentrate on irrelevant things-BB NAIJA comes to mind, if the hype on BB NAIJA is accorded this competition bill I dont see reasons why this bill would not be paaaee within 3-6 months time frame
The FDI we are seeking will be difficult to attract if we fail to play our basic roles as a nation
The senators need to be more abreast with global best businesses practises as investors ,(foreign) rarely put money where corruption. greed poor corporate governance thrive like "wildfire"

Oga it's u and your generation that is foolish and i'mbecile. Look I am with the consumer protection council and I can tell you everything about the orders that was issued to dstv and it's compliance issues. And I can lecture you on all the dstv wahala more than you know. You don't talk issues based on sentiment. You say it based on facts. A lot of people are canvassing for pay as you go the CPC does not have that powers yet until it becomes a competition commission, if they do dstv takes them to court and they will be floored. My guy when the competition law is passed cpc has powers to even bring down the subscription of Dstv. Dstv is broadcasting and falls under the supervision of Nigeria broadcasting commission and not nigeria communication Commission. It's like investigating mtn and leaving out nigeria communication Commission and inviting national pension commission. I stand by what I said. I tell you there is no competition law yet in Nigeria and nothing can stop dstv not even the house of reps unless the public outcry becomes so much and they decide to stop it.. The competition law is the way out my brother it will break monopoly like dstv, dangote etc, forcing its price down naturally and increase competition of goods and services . Don't show ur foolishness here. I know what I said

Thanks for your expose into the discourse, many of us fail to realise some of these basics
1.if there is steady power would the outburst be like this
2
The company has base stations ,have we factored in the cost of running them (diesel is N250 per litre as against N150 last year Q1)
3.what role is government playing to allow and encourage new entrants into the market to break monopoly. ACTV comes to mind, the company just closed down last year
We need to as a matter of importance as Nigerians look at situations critically before coming up with solutions that really are not empirically thought through

pay as you go is more expensive and you won't enjoy the full benefit of your package.

but it is more feasible for a country like nigeria as there is no constant power supply for you to enjoy your service 24/7

don't blame dstv blame nigeria and it government

honestly all service like this are increased annually...was it the same amount you use in subscribing for data plan last 2 years that you still pay now?

When you go to the gym, you can’t just pay for the treadmill..you pay for the whole gym service..imagine if you just had to pay for the treadmill do you think you will fully benefit?

I will not blame multi choice for price review, think of the following
1,over the years has the government being able to provide steady and constant power ?
2, I believe you are aware they also have base stations for signals to various subscribers decoders have you thought of the cost of running them,
The government is not helping issues, provide the enabling environment and see whether price will not come down
