A 100L UNICAL Student Committed suicide few days ago after being Scammed of N100,000.
Bako Veronica, A 100L student in the department of History and international studies University of Calabar took her life by drinking Sniper.
From series of Reports and investigations, the deceased woke up yesterday morning using her facebook account, someone chatted her up and introduce her to an Online business/Investment that will give her double of Money in few Minutes, Veronica was persuaded to make some payments, she decided to make a transfer of N100,000 which happened to be her school fees which she was yet to pay before ASUU strike/Covid19 pandemic.
Later on, she discovered it was fake which made her Restless all over the day.
It was around 10:12am, her Sisters in the house noticed her abnormal behaviors that she wasn't fine, they asked and she said she was Okay, So her Mother said if she is really Okay, she should took a bike to the market and buy some items for her, She drafted the list, Veronica said she need to took her bath before going, on reaching the bathroom she took a bottle of Sniper, she began to struggle in the bathroom out of hurts she is perceiving.
While her Relatives were inside the room, she struggled and fell outside which attracted attentions of there Neighbors.
Later on, she was took to the Hospital were the doctor pronounce her Dead..

I had made an unusually huge supply to my very good customer (Iya A), anticipating large sales during the festive period. On a norms, i don't do more than 20crates of egg at a time but with the festive season, i i had expected increased demand, so i took 55crates, Iya A been my good client took 30 leaving 25 for me to sell. Even the 25, i have only been able to sell 13 pre and Post Ileya.



The problem now is that iya A lost her husband a day after ileya, this has left me completely devastated as she have not paid for d eggs she took. I have been to her house to commiserate with her but i don't know how to ask for the money. My Supplier does not want to hear anything, she has been calling, sending messages and now gave me a deadline of Monday evening.


I don't know if it is proper to go ask her for money now, its just a week since the ugly incident happened to her, i feel somehow..

Iya A also does supply, she takes from me on credit, den pay back in 2/3days time.. she has never defaulted any payment before this sad event..

Quite an unfortunate incident for her that has affected you

Still bring it to her notice and since she is a supplier, it's possible the people he supplied to are yet to pay her

Get the contacts of those people from her and hunt for your money

From my own experience, forget about washing machine of 35k, I bet you, you will definitely regret wasting that money but don't ask me why unless you experience it

thanks for the advice. ofc it got this worse cos I didnt stay away when the debt was still little. I would have loved pour out all I'm going through but posting about personal issues can be really boring to some people and also, some might think this is some sort of competition cos of the rate at which people speak about their ordeals lately. I have done something really terrible which I personally go crazy anytime I think of it to my mom. December 2018, a boy in my neighborhood who is also like a relative started making some savings with me, unfortunately that was the time I started betting as well. I was able to recover the loss on my mom's bank account before 2019 ended. now to 2020, the boy kept asking for his money, I had to return to using my mom's money again as I had no other hope of getting the money.. how I wish I had told my mom about the whole thing when it was still amendable. Fast forward to today, I have used virtually all my mom's bank savings from betting to forex trading without her knowledge. when she noticed about the error in her account, I had to lie I helped her fix her account as she doesn't make withdrawals from her account  cos she's a trader who doesn't use her bank savings for her business.. I'm finished now, I lied to her the duration of the fix is 4 months and she's expecting the money with return by August ending. Together with the money I owe the other boy, I'm in over 600k debt... I seriously don't know how I got here, I wish I can turn back time, I feel drained... I don't know what to do with my life, I feel like I have failed the woman who has always shown me nothing but love and care. I failed her, I failed the woman who has always trusted me to be a good son.  I even had to lie to her! Each time I think of telling her about everything, I get sick. I can't keep on going this way.. I spoke with the lady about allowing my friend to see the boy, she told me according to their tradition once divorce has occurred the father loose the child to the her family.

My friend is separated from his wife since 2016 due to intolerable behaviours of his wife. My friend on a several occasions has asked his wife(I still considered them married since they are not legally separated) to open account for his son and also furnish him with details of his son's school so that he can start paying his child school fees.
