Moghalu shouldn't say such a thing, that's uncalled for...... the matter should be diplomatically resolved.
How do you diplomatically solve an ideological problem? South Africa was on delivered from apartheid on paper, their souls are still in apartheid chains. I agree with Moghalu, only sanctions on South Africa interest will convert lip service to action. We have seen many videos with faces of attacker on them, how many of them have be arrested? The right thing to do is to force their government to act.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Reasons Why Most Nigerian Graduates Are Not Employable by gabicon: 8:18am On Aug 31, 2019
africa4ever:
The increasing number of unemployed Nigerian graduates is quite alarming. According to survey, Nigeria has 47 percent of its university graduates unemployed.

Its quite surprising that a country considered as Africa’s largest economy could have such percentage of unemployed graduates from well renowned tertiary institution.

Here, we’ll be dealing with some possible reasons why Nigerian graduates are unemployable.
Course of study not in line with society’s need
One of the possible reasons why Nigerian graduates are unemployed is because their course of study in the tertiary institution is not actually or not in-tune with the society’s need.

This is because the quality of education and focus of training offered by the tertiary institution are quite different from the major needs of the society.

And so the graduates are faced with the challenge of knowing how to meet the society’s need since their course of study is not in-line hence, leaving them unemployed.

Job experience before offered employment
Another reason is that most employers require some years of working experience as a criteria before offering a job. This leaves the graduates off-balance as they just finished schooling with little or no working experience.

The surprising thing is that some employers will require 5 years working experience from a fresh graduates. How and where do they expect them to get such working experience from?

Low educational quality
The educational system in Nigeria is very poor compared to other country’s. Nigerian graduates compete for employment with graduates who studied outside the country and often times they are rejected because of the standard of education they acquired is low compared with that of their competitors.

This is a call for the relevant authorities to look into the educational system of the country.

Lack of employable skills
The Nigerian tertiary institutions have over the years produced graduates that lack employable skills that could guarantee employment. Their mind is like a tabular-rasa when it comes to employable skills. The educational system need to be improved to produce graduates equipped with the necessary skills.

Emphasis are not placed on entrepreneurship
Another major reason is that the country doesn’t place emphasis on the need for entrepreneurship in the school curricula. Graduates were not exposed to entrepreneurship while still in school due to emphasis were placed on theoretical education more than entrepreneurship.

Outdated curricula
Also, a number of curricula in Nigerian universities used are outdated. They are no longer in tune with the present university education realities, hence graduates are not equipped with the knowledge that drive Nigeria’s labour market.

Graduates lack the know-how in seeking for jobs.
One of the proven reasons why most Nigerian graduates are still unemployed is that they lack the required knowledge of seeking for jobs, making them loose out in the search. They are deficient in the knowledge of know-how in seeking for job.

SOURCE: https://infoguide.com.ng/reasons-why-most-nigerian-graduates-are-not-employable/
I believe that there is only one reason why Nigerian graduates are perceived as being unemployable, it is lack of skills. The world is now running a skilled economy and not a qualifications economy. If you don't have the prerequisite skills what will you be doing in the organization?

seniwellsFX:
Unfortunately, you are making zero economic sense with this statement of yours. I guess you are trying to shift blame from lame buhari by saying this trend started 20years ago. Do you know the cost of shipping a new or used car from overseas to nigeria? Do you know the cost, corruption and other unnecessary delays just a clear that car from our ports? Now if the said car is assembled in Nigeria, all of those cost won't be payed by the end user.making the said car more affordable. Individually, Nigerians are more than capable in buying new card in as much as the prices are not inflated due to external factors.
Sir, the parts of the car will be brought in from overseas through our same ports, they will experience same fright cost, customs charges, customs delay. All we are doing is puting the individual parts together, if we are not careful it may even be more than the cost overseas.

The average cost of a Toyota Yaris is $15k-18k it doesn't go any lower than that, do the conversion.
go find out how much innoson sells his cars or how much assembled Ford's are sold, ordinary Kia Rio tear rubber is 7million. How many Nigerians can afford to drive 7million naira car? It's not about inflated prices it's about purchasing power.

In 2016 there was a report that said 90% of monies in the bank is owned by 2% of the customer is it that the others hide monies in their matress? This is what doesn't make us a strategic market the resources are unevenly spread.

ZombieDestroyer:
BULLSHIT!!

This is how zombies think! And this is why this country has remained like a this!

Who told you it is only Ghanaians that would be buying the Toyota cars from the proposed Assembly?! Toyota is widely acceptable product in West Africa, so locating their Assembly in West Africa will definitely reduce the cost of their cars and will automatically attract a lot of West African Countries importing the cars into their countries!!
First and foremost let's not resort to names calling, nobody is a zombie, we are just expressing our views on a subject matter.

Let me let you in on an occurrence, do you know that Toyota wanted to create an assembly plant during GEJ's era through Elizade motors? Guess what the man refused and opted for the creation of an education institution which is known today as Elizade University.

The vaswani brothers started assembling Nissan cars as far back as 2013, this year alone, no vehicle has come out of their plant.

About 4 years ago Volkswagen said they were reviving their assembly plant, where is the plant today?

Why are these things happening. Because Nigeria is not a market for new cars, we need to understand that these companies are not charities they are businesses that thrive on economies of scale, selling 500 cars a year won't cut it.

It would be a business tragedy if Toyota comes to join their competition who are struggling.

There is a reason why most Toyota cars coming into west Africa comes from South Africa, there is a market for new vehicles in South Africa and that market can sustain the company the rest filtering into other parts of Africa is what we refer to as Jara, the outbound figures are not stable, they fluctuate, hence they are not reliable statistics for planning.

I can bet it that the plant in Ghana will never be built, MOU is not a contract, or better still let's me put it this way time will tell.

Car TalkRe: TICAD7: Toyota seals deal to site Assembly plant in Ghana (Video) by gabicon: 2:32pm On Aug 30, 2019
we need to think deeply about these things. It will be foolish for Toyota to setup an assembly plant in Nigeria because Nigeria does have a market for new automobile. let's analyze it, in Japan, USA, UK, Germany etc, a graduate who gets his first job can afford to buy a new car via a flexible payment plan. We don't have such a system in Nigeria, instead the likes of Coscharis, Innoson, and Nissan that assemble cars in Nigeria have to depend on banks, a few companies, government purchase via civil service, security agency, and MDA's to survive. Toyota coming to Nigeria will simply mean that they are here to compete for government purchases it simply doesn't make any business sense. And before we point fingers at Buhari, this trend has been in play for more than 20years, Nigeria has a huge population with low purchasing power that can't afford new vehicles.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Types Of Spirits That Make Nigerian Youths Mentally Lazy And Unproductive by gabicon: 7:40am On Aug 28, 2019
I may not entirely agree with you, the problem of our today youths started when parents told them to go to school get good grades and a job was waiting for them. This advice was given in ignorance, most of our parents as a result of them pioneering the university education got jobs after obtaining a university degree, but considering population growth that system is not sustainable and won't work now because few business have been built and sustained over the years.

Now imagine if you were told that 2+2 =22 for over 20years, changing the answer to 4 will take some time to get used to. The fact is that most parents didn't discern the future of their children, the economy we presently run is a skill economy meaning that a man with a skill and no formal education is preferable to one with the opposite. I'm sure that this economy is going to change again in the next 50years.

Now a young person sold a lie of education for job sees another fellow with no education no skill no business driving a luxury car, living large, and command so much power, it's only natural to want to be like such a person after all we were taught to aspire to be like the best in the society.

Least we forget the online scam industry was created by the Nigerian government during the sagari government, students were sent abroad on scholarship then the country went through a recession and the government stoped every form of support to these students abroad, may of them were left homeless and hungry and their survival instinct kicked in.

To solve this problem we need to understand that it will take time to solve the problem, secondly we need to stop the name calling and blame game, we need to restore equity and fairness in our society, we need venture capital to ensure businesses grow, we need to orientate our youths on the possibilities in our present system and allow them follow their dreams, we need to make sure that our youths think for themselves.

My brother this is Nigeria, the laws that affects our daily survival have not been executed and kept, is it copyright laws that will be kept? As much as a claim may be right if there is no system upholding the claim, it as good as dead on arrival.

Mr Blackface has shaped the perception and narrative of his image, so even if he sneezes it is seen as prior perception. As they say perception of truth is more important than truth itself, I won't blame anyone that sees this as a cheap publicity, the subject shaped their perception.

Christianity EtcRe: Should Religion Matter Above Love In Choosing A Life Partner? by gabicon: 2:14pm On Aug 18, 2019
One of the major factor that affects love is unity, so if we I say I love you to some extent it means that there is some form of unity in purpose that causes us to have a strong bond. In Nigeria religion is very important to us as a people and a disunity of religion can be a stumbling block to the growth and development of a relationship.

PoliticsRe: Just In: El-zakzaky, Wife Arrive Nigeria by gabicon: 3:33pm On Aug 16, 2019
makewetalk2:
The problem is that there are divisions in Islam. Muslims do not want to highlight it. They always ask why there are many churches of Islam. This Zakzaky has done nothing to Buhari and his cohorts but identifies as a Shia Muslim. The hatred the Sunnis have for Shiites is ingrained. The sanctimony taught to Sunnis and the presumptuous ardour against the Shia that have been inculcated in the hearts of the Sunnis have blurred their realistic vision and emptied their fundamental thought tank.
This is racism. Sunnis are racist toward Shiites. They are being racist toward a sect in Islam because they feel presumptuously sanctimonious. This man has done nothing to Buhari or the Sunnis. El Zak is just trying to practice his religion as he has been taught. The faith of thousands of Shiites rests on him since they are a minority in ALL of the Islamic dominated territories in the world.

Let this man be. He is not Boko Haram. Ganduje was caught on tape stealing but he remains a friend of the man who publicly declares that he fights corruption. Shiites are not Boko Haram, the Sunnis are the Boko Haram. Get a video of any of those arrested and you will attest to the veracity of what I say. Herdsmen are not Shiites, they are Sunnis. The Bandits are not Shiites, they are Sunnis. So, what really has the Shiites done to deserve this persecution and torment from their fellow Mohammedans?

One quality of Sunnis is to remain silent when others perpetrate violence or killings toward individuals of other faiths or sects. There is no outcry or nor even condemnation of the racist treatment dished out toward the Shiites. They keep quiet and celebrate behind closed doors and try to make up reasons to demonize the Shiites.

They have labelled a minority religious faith as a terrorist group. A group that does not even identify as a violent group. This is a minor protest by aggravated individuals who did not take up arms or weapons for massive destruction. They identify as a religion. Our constitution protects them. As a Christian who knows some-ng about Islam, I expose the evil of the Sunnis who share Sallah meat to Christians when they hate on their fellow Mohammedans. Your hypocrisy is high class. I expose those Muslims who feed the people who they wish to drive a machete through their necks.

The Shiites are there for a reason. Set this man free. Volcano does not erupt from the sky, it must come from under.
I don't understand this, a man is credited on video saying he has no regards for the government and he should be let go? Can anyone try it in Iran or Palestine or Saudi Arabia and get away with it? Can anyone blockade the commander of the army of any country and get a slap on the wrist?
EducationRe: Can I Do Masters With A 3rd Class Degree In Europe (USA)? by gabicon: 9:05am On Aug 14, 2019
hebenezher:
Good evening guys.

I have an issue draining my life and my emotions. It goes thus; I have just graduated from the University with a degree of 3rd class in mathematical sciences(IT). It is so hard to accept but the deed has been done and I have to start looking forward. so, I want to make an enquiry if there's chance for me to do a master in the USA with such low degree or if they also accept 3rd class graduate through PDG. please I need your advice on this.

thank you all!
You sound very uncomfortable with your third class degree, I'm not sure graduate school can fix this discomfort. I will suggest you consider doing a top-up (starting from year 2 in a university and getting a new degree).

You can also walk-in to any of the registered overseas school intermediarys like PFL in Lagos and they will layout your options and help you in processing your application n visa at a fee. That's if you don't have the time to go through the links provided.

Lastly you need to figure out the reason why you finished with a third class and make necessary adjustments, else you repeat same mistakes and end up with a d grade.
RomanceRe: Help! I'm Emotionally Wrecked! by gabicon: 11:02am On Aug 12, 2019
Shadbay:
I've been in extreme emotional pains for the past few months. I don't even know where to start to narrate my ordeal. I do not want this experience to damage me emotionally and psychologically, that's why I'm seeking help. Please pardon the length and blunders.

Earlier this year, just two weeks after my birthday, my ex-gf (gf of almost 7 years) broke up with me. I had just visited her and left two days prior to the breakup.
I went through the most challenging period of my life because I just suffered some job and graduate school rejections that period. The breakup worsened my situation and pushed me into a depression. I have never felt defeated in life till that point. She blocked me on all mediums of communication. It was too extreme. I went from 91kg to 85 kg in less than 3 weeks.

I visited her to understand the whole situation cos her behaviour was too extreme and I got a toxic dosage of embarrassments. She said she was done with me. She said a lot of hurtful things to me. The height of the embarrassments was calling her new boyfriend (barely 3 weeks after breaking up with me) right in front of me and telling him she doesn't know what I'm doing in her place. She even called some of her friends to inform them of my presence. They all sounded scared and concerned for her as if I was some kind of predator. They told her to leave her place at once and come to their place. All these calls were on speaker! This is someone I invested all these years and emotions for. I went through hell that period cos I was dealing with some other personal tribulations.

I can't imagine treating her or anybody else the way she treated me. I NEVER cheated on her, NOT ONCE or by chance! I have walked away from compromising situation countless times because I placed her so high. I had so much respect for her. She now went on to slander my name, accusing me of cheating!!! When I asked who was feeding her all those lies, she said her friends told her. How? Did I date you or your friends? It still boggles my mind to think she'll believe them and go about spreading those ugly rumours about me.

The straw that broke the camels back was when a friend of mine told me that she said she's grateful to God she didn't contract any infection/disease from me! I couldn't believe my ears. I broke down. This didn't just break my heart, it shattered my spirit. This is someone I imagined spending the rest of my life with. My whole family (even extended) accepted her as one of us.

I had to accept that things were beyond salvaging because any attempt from me to fix things kept doing the opposite. The minute it involved my sisters I had to accept defeat.

I never harmed her or attempt to lay a finger on her. I might not be perfect but I gave it my all. The situation is far worse than I described it here, it's even painful remembering them. I loved her to a fault.

I got a text from her about a month ago after I refused to answer her calls because I had just lost a loved one. She said she's getting married and hopes I find peace as she has found hers. I stared at those words speechless. The worst set of people one could ever encounter are those that hurt you, know that they hurt you and still turn around to play victim accusing you of hurting them. If there's anything I'm proud of is my level of self-control. I know few of my friends who made fun of me being extremely loyal to one girl, warning me severally that I'm wasting my time and good looks, that my youth is passing me by. At least I have a clean conscience that I never betrayed her trust. I never went about telling other people our business. Now I understand why they say good guys always finish last.

Women don't deserve loyalty, forget all their cliche that men are not faithful and honest. I went the faithful, loyal path what did I get in return? Venom! I feel repulsed when I hear women say "Men are dogs", "Men always cheat".

I just don't want this experience to turn me into something I'm not or make me an embittered soul. I'm traumatized beyond words. This was my first and only relationship and I gave it everything. I'm in my mid-twenties and I don't think I can ever love genuinely again. I need mature advice on how to come out of this ordeal a better person. I don't want to transfer any aggressions or micro-aggressions on anybody because of this experience. Please mature advice needed. Thank you.
Man the heck up!!! If she is not the one she isn't the one.

The fact of the matter is your ex had a requirement that you couldn't meet called marriage. All the tantrums were just to get you as far away as possible. The best revenge you can give her is to make a success of your self in every ramification.

As much as u can cut communication with your ex so that you can properly heal and much more because she is going to become someone else wife.

As much as possible don't get into a new relationship yet take some time to self evaluate, truth be told most ladies in relationships want a permanent title of MRS. Communication is key in every relationship, so make sure you know the requirements of the next lady you will be dating and let her know yours too, because relationships are hinged on needs of two parties.

The other side of hurt and pain is joy and laughter, move on to that side.

Borrowing to Foster growth and development is not bad, if The great America are to pay back it's debt it will take 40 years of paying $1billion daily to do so, similar case goes for most top economies in the world.

We had a recession and the only way to get out of it was to spend out of it and you don't spend money you don't have you have to borrow. We should be less concerned about the borrowing and focus more on it's sustainability and utilization. For instance if we borrow to finance 2nd niger bridge or Lagos/ibadan express that's good borrow but if we use it for recurrent that's bad borrow.

I disagree with the notion that nobody can entirely service their loans many businesses in Nigeria like coscharis are serving their loans to maturity. Some people have made it a career to borrow and not pay back those are the once Amcon is after.

Why are you suprised? : Ministership slot was sold Up to N2.5b Per Slot.

Read below

I declined to comment on the ministerial list Buhari sent to the Senate for two reasons: I was deeply distraught by what I heard about the process that produced it and I wanted to confirm the info from trustworthy people who should know.

Four different, dependable, and independent sources who don’t know each other but who’re close two the corridors of power were eerily united in telling me that except for a few ministerial nominations (notably those of Adamu Adamu, Ali Isa Pantami, Mohammed Musa Bello, Raji Fashola whom Buhari himself personally penciled— and those that were conceded to Tinubu) every other post was literally auctioned off to the highest bidder.

One Jeddy Agba from Cross River State, a Diezani protégé who defected to APC to avoid EFCC scrutiny, was said to have given Abba Kyari up to N2.5 billion for his nomination. I was told that, at a point, the incredibly rapacious Abba Kyari, in fact, removed Musa Bello’s name from the list and sold the spot to someone else. Buhari somehow found out and recalled the list. Bello is the son of Buhari’s very close friend. That was what inspired his saying that he’d only appoint people he “personally” knew. Of course, as usual, he lied.

If people are required to pay hundreds of millions of naira as a precondition to be appointed ministers, it means they’re being invited to a corruption bazaar. They’ll have to raid and pillage the national treasury to recoup their “investment.” My sources said Buhari knows that Abba Kyari and his boss, Mamman Daura, auctioned off ministerial slots to the highest bidders, and he is at peace with it. This didn’t surprise me because Buhari is himself an unmitigated but carefully managed fraud.

Nevertheless, Nigeria had never descended to this low watermark of shamelessly undisguised fraud. One of my sources said, “The rottenness is unprecedented and no society or country can survive this level of fraud, crime, and sleaze.” This confirms what I’ve always said: that Nigeria can’t survive a Buhari second term. There’s no way it can.

Apart from intractable insecurity and mass deaths, Buhari’s second term is also shaping up to be an unprecedentedly raucous celebration of corruption, injustice, depravity, and debauchery. It’s going to get ugly, really ugly. Get ready!

CareerRe: Mass Sack In Ecobank, Sacked Workers Protest (Photos) by gabicon: 11:17am On Jul 11, 2019
I sympathize with the workers on their termination of employment, however, we need to understand how the private sector works, most employees go into the private sector with public sector mentality. The word job security doesn't exist in the private sector, in the private sector you have to always value innovate to remain relevant.

I'm sure if we check some of the affected people, they have not made any significant upgrade to themselves in the last decade, no professional certification, no additional education qualification, no additional skill training, nothing. The private sector has to always value innovate to stay in business to do so they have to get fresh ideas, but for them to do so they have to get rid of no ideas and that's what has happened in the retrenchment.

Doing business in Nigeria is hard, and only harder organizations survive. Unfortunately, the protest will yield nothing because what is happening has happened before, the best we can do is learn from it and move on, it's sad that it is happening when our economy is on life support but we all got to survive.

If it didn't sell when it was discontinued it still won't sell after it was discontinued. Meaning it most likely will be on the shelf for a while. Such products can be in circulation in low purchasing power zones for years before they are either destroyed or sold.

She is not a working class type, so she does her business at home, no stress except to take care of kids. at time she complained of headache, tiredness, or even if I wake her up at around 4am when kids have slept, she will complain that why did I wake her up when she was dreaming. And if am forcing her, she will being to make noise that can wake the kids up.

Here in my place of work in abeokuta I have all the reason to sleep with other girls, in which I have told my wife herself that my conscience cannot judge me if I do, because with little time I spend with you, u often turn me down and mostly she never initiate sex with me except she is extremely happy but very rear.

I don't know who to report her to .i just don't want to flirt around because of fear of God and love I have for my kids. We can go a month without sex, she is very OK with that, I told her that she had turn herself to just roommate.
I commend you for your commitment to your marital vows, however you need to understand that sex for a woman isn't instantaneous like men. You cant leave her with so much work for 5days an expect to just climb her when you come back. That is tantamount to going to withdraw cash in a bank with insufficient balance.

The process of having sex with your wife on Saturday starts on Monday, send her messages, buy are small gifts, make her feel loved and appreciated, you can buy takeout on the day you arrive so she doesn't have to cook etc.

You are away for the week and your wife has to take full responsibility for herself and the kids, that's a lot of work, every normal person will harbor resentment. You have to find ways reduce the load on her, try and make up during the weekend you are around by making sure she gets full rest, as it stands you are the oldest kid she has to care for every weekend.

You can try dropping the children with friends on Saturday n taking your wife on a date and always appreciated her for all she is doing.

Gradually she will warm up to you. All the best bro.

The real judas are crawling out of their shells

Good this thing happen so you can know who can stand behind you in difficult times.

Even if he was guilty, what happened to helping him finding his way back to Christ

But has these people ever read their bible at all. Are they actually Christians.
Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter that's what Jesus said n that is what is happening. If the inner circle of the senior pastor were aware of the happenings in the church, it is most likely that the congregation won't trust them, where there is no trust there is no relationship where there is no relationship there is no church.
Christianity EtcRe: COZA Pastor's Rape Accusation: Before You Join The Band Wagon, Neymar Case Study by gabicon: 12:34pm On Jun 29, 2019
RemiTinubu:
Before you accuse or believe that story, remember Neymer's case

Had it been that the innocent guy has no evidence by now the world will be tearing him limb for limb
his club would have sacked him and all endorsement destroyed.

Yes you heard me right
All these would have happened without proper investigation and done out of emotions and sentiments because the world frowns at rape (including me) and sometimes take actions on the accused without investigation due to gender ish.

Nowadays desperate ladies capitalize on that to pull down any man they feel like and the world won't even ask questions and just destroy the accuser without proper investigation.

I use to join the band wagon until Neymer's case showed me how wicked some ladies can be
who would ever think that such innocent looking latino will ever accuse neymer falsely.

The world have started believing her story till neymer luckily presented a solid proof to end the allegations.
ask yourself this question.

Neymer went free because he gat some evidence to prove his innocence.
What about numerous guys in the same situation that gat nothing to back up their claims?

I rest my case here.

Please I'm not defending COZA Pastor, infact i don't like that guy but let's be logical in our reasoning SOMETIMES.
There is a difference between a one off case and a serial case, Neymer's case is a one off case CR7 also has a similar case, what has characterised these cases is that they are one off cases. But bill Cosby n R Kelly case are serial cases so is our dear pastor multiple accusations. I hear from some source s that apart from Ese n Busola there are some 3 other people that have come out.

Did 3 women come out to claim Neymer raped them? If it ever happens the guy is toast.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Is It Wise To Pay 200k/a Rent From 80k Job? by gabicon: 2:17pm On Jun 23, 2019
Goodplace:
If Someone is in a work of 80k per month can he afford a place of 200k with no side income yet?
It depends, if your house is a stone throw from your office, then it eliminates the cost of transportation but if its not it's a little on the high side.
