First of all you need to understand that the principles of marriage are still the same over a century ago but the concept has changed. In today's world women are no longer dependent on men economically hence they no longer take the crap they did 20years ago. Women now exercise a more robust Sense of freedom. If you are looking for a wife that will do your every bidding, I must let you know that she doesn't not exist anymore, some may look like it in the beginning but they will eventually metamorphose.
Mother's have told their daughters how unfulfilled they were in their marriages and the daughters are not willing to repeat that experience.

Making a marriage work in this age will involve both parties clearly stating their requirements, both parties have needs and those needs have to be met and the modalities of how needs are to be met needs to be discussed.

The affairs of a state are run through ministries these ministries are overseen by permanent secretaries. Mr governor should tell all perm secs, internal revenue chairman, auditor general etc. to submit a report within 24hrs and he will get all the information he needs. we need leaders who can think through problems and not those that complain about everything, I suspect the Ogun & zamfara state governors are probably going through the same issues.

Mr govonor needs to be wary of hasty decisions.

I believe Pastor Adeboye's view may be a conflict in perception, solving the problem in the north will fall into 3 categories, the short, mid n long term solutions. If we scrap the national grid, do you know how much it will cost to rewire the entire nation?... If I'm not mistaken, scraping the national grid would entail disconnecting several states from power supply.

Every state has its own distribution grid, the national grid feeds these distribution grid. Imagine every state generating its own electricity or a Geopolitical zone generating and transmiting her own electricity, we would have eliminated multiple points of failure which seems to be one of the bottle necks in the national grid. Many industries and churches are already doing it in Lagos , they have their own gas turbine, they generate and even sell to neighboring community.

The simple solution to the power problem is decentralize it. Lagos can't be dependent on Benin transmission company even though it has a power station. Scrap national grid it's not working.

I disagree with your assertion of intervention, it takes non tolerance and consequences for actions to turn things around. Who was responsible for getting oxygen? The person needs to be charged for involuntary manslaughter period. It's not intervention that makes health care in other parts of the world, it is discipline.

The congestion in the ports is more of a political problem that can only be through a combined effort of state and federal government the water ways to the ports in other parts of the country need serious dredging, ships have gotten stuck on these route. Any state with a port other than Lagos has to evaluate the economic value of a port to it and partner with the FG to make it work. Until then no minister, ministry, chairman or party can do nothing. Apapa will always be congested until our ports are decentralized. That's not something a minister or MD can do.

for me the most important things that will make us become a great nation.

1) Decentralisation: we need to restructure how everything works in the country, it doesn't make sense for Abuja to be responsible for the road on my street, it doesn't make sense for Rivers to generate electricity and send it to Kano, it doesn't make sense for Abuja to control the security in my local community. We need several forms of autonomy.

2) strengthing the criminal justice system: we need to ensure that there are consequences for action and adherence to rules and regulations, if this cant be achieved then we are not ready.

3) strengthing institutions: we need to ensure that our ministries departments and agencies have a clear vision and outlined goals of what we intend to achieve on the short, mid, and long term. we need to ensure that multinationals do not take our brightest and best to work for them, and we need to ensure that the MDA's attract talent.

4)selecting true leaders at the political party levels: In Nigeria, the elections are already rigged before we go to the pools, the political parties produce terrible candidates that we have to accept. we will require parties with clear cut ideology.

I believe solving these 4 problems will open the doors to solving problems like education, economy, infrastructure, employment etc.

I believe as a people we need to develop a unit measurement of success, it would be unfair to say a governor or president didn't do anything during his tenure in office, in plain terms what we really mean is that the president or governor didn't do enough to meet our expectation. But how do we measure enough? it starts with the peoples agender measured with short-term, midterm, and long-term goals. imagine if we have a peoples mandate that states that the present government resurfaces all major roads of a state in 2 years. As for the niger-delta what is required there is visionary leadership, I don't see any reason why we don't have an inter south-south rail network to foster trade in the region.

Now Agbaje as the PDP governorship candidate is running the same campaign again which has pitched Igbos living in Lagos against Yoruba. We say enough is enough.

The culture of our brothers from the southeast doesn't permit one individual to control so much power. The best way to get across to these brothers is to come from the angle of the way of life of these people (culture).

The problem with this strategy is that our brothers in the southeast do not constitute more than a quarter of the electorate in Lagos to win he has to cut across other ethnic communities in Lagos. it has even gotten worse for JK because Tinubu has enlisted the help of Senate elect Ifeanyi Uba to share the southeasterners votes.

I don't see JK winning, firstly because of the weak structure PDP has in Lagos, secondly because of the weak rigging machinery, thirdly very weak financing and lastly because the majority of those who actually vote (low income earners) are controlled by the APC.
