The action of the army is condemnable but what about the lawlessness of the sect, constituting public nuisance by barricading public road? |
Sin is a curse on a sinner but the blood of Jesus washes it all away when we repent. Our nation has failed to take responsibility in the past and more sadly Christians have failed to take responsibility in the place of prayer instead we complain and scheme. If we will humble ourselves and pray and repent God will hear us and heal our land a day is too much for God to change things. Secondly God has deposited His creativity in us that creativity has to start finding expression, we need to create jobs and opportunity for others and our success is sure cos we have the mind of Christ. |
this story sound very one sided, earlier on some pictures of trailers set ablaze where filtering social media. the question is who set those ablaze? my second question Is the blood of 8 nigerian worth the incarceration (legal or illegal) of Mr Kanu? |
Now we know those who caused GEJ the election. |
We can't have real black Friday cos we don't produce anything in Nigeria. The idea of Black Friday is to clear out company's goods in preparations for a new production year. We import almost everything and our imports are not based on partnership but local retail hence we can't really reduce the price of commodity. |
Gbawe:I do agree that uneasy lies the head that wears the crown but I think we need to stop making excuses for our govonors. Countries make a living on agriculture or better still we made a living on agriculture before oil and the last I checked we don't need electricity to plough our farms if we plant hectares of land filled with cocoa, groundnut, coffee, bell apple's, grapes, cashew etc that's a huge amount of foreign exchange, if we can get boats and do ocean fishing that huge forex for us. What's stops the state governments from leasing lands to farmerz and purchasing modern farm machinery and renting it to them? Why can't they partner with agro tech firms on technology that will enhance crop productivity? Why can't states invest in partnership with mining companies to explore the natural resources in their states? If we keep puting the blame on FG we won't move fwd and it is my opinion that if we have 24 7 electricity most states will remain the same. I mean Donald Duke showed us what vision can create in a state. Let our govonors show us what their vision can create. |
That's how it should be, taking care of 12 million people should wear on out talk less of innovating ideas for job creation for some 7 million people. The thing is that most of our govonors are mentally lazy, govonors in America take their states from $3 billion to $1 Billion surplus in four years but here in Nigeria they want to reduce minimum wage and block leakage. Attack is the best form of defence it high time our govonors start tingling with fresh ideas and concentrate less on the already dwindled cow. I admire elrufai for his honesty the job isn't easy for those who really want to work and most of our fat stomach govonors are doing nothing in government house. |
The solution to this is simple give us a breakdown of the 1%. APC needs put its house in order as a house divided against itself cannot stand. Furthermore if we are active about issues TSA we should likewise be active about the paycheck of government officials, we should have to pay our senators for making us come at ourselves on social media. |
Kindly remember that a few nominees where not given portfolios, those onces will work under cumbersome ministries like finance, transport, power works and housing. The whole idea is to cut cost of running the indigenous offices (PA, special assistant, protocol officer, aids etc) let's hope for the best. |
you might need to spend extra time studying. Talk to those students ahead of you especially those with the grades you want on the different lecturers and their styles. get past test and exam questions review them over and over again till you get used to them. talk to your lecturer about what they expects of you. pray and ask ask the holy spirit to show you things to come. do not let anyone dissuade you your dream of a first class is still achievable. |
Why does it have to be the President looking into this? Our justice system should handle things like this, we really need to transcend powers from individuals to institutions. |
Gov Ambode better get a good publicist, cos he might be working but people are not feeling the impact. |
bidexmimi:exactly my thinking why do we want to plunge our country into a social welfare when other countries are looking at ways of get out of it. |
There are some discipline that need to be given on the spot because children forget things easily and if you prospone discipline they see you as being wicked cos they don't recall were they faulted. I think what we should be against is abuse no discipline and most of us that grew up 20+ years ago shouldn't forget in a hurry how our teachers rod helped in shaping us. The decadence in our society is on the high and only collective training of our children will reduce it. |
NYSC should be restructured 1) 1 month military training/ orientation 2 ) 2 months skill acquisition training 3) 7 months primary assignment. 4) 2 months of refresher on skill acquisition (field work) and giving each person 500k to kick start an SME 5) provide soft loan schemes. |

The answer is simple you are a slave to your job, you need to draw the line between hard work and your job owning you. The sooner you strike the balance the better cos the higher you go the more time will demand of you. Cheer's mate |
EternalTruths:Giving states more resources won't change anything most of our govonors don't think they are simply just share money. True federalism can only work when we have visionary leadership. Most states are filled with bankable resources but no govonor has taken the initiative in exploring these resources |
It's funny how we argue about this things, in politics there are no permanent friends and no permanent enemies it all about personal interest. Saraki trial was a message sent by PMB to the senate that he has their dirty laundry hence everyone should sit up. I laugh when people say it is jagaban that is after saraki, let's learn from history on the behaviour of military men, they are trained to be strategist and ghost you never see them coming or leaving the damage is the only evidence of their presence. Saraki will remain senate president but a weakened one. PDP should get over amaechi after all if they didn't play politics blindly the whole PDP mess won't have happened. We the youths need to stop focusing on useless politics and start pressuring our government to create sustainable development for us. |
The elderly in our society have done disservice to the youths by not properly educating on history. I am just wondering why those making so much trouble about Biafra leave outside the shores of Nigeria with their families, so should there be a war their families are safe. I changed my paradigm when I once referred to one of my friends from bayelsa as Biafra secessionist and he told me this Igbo get 5 states Niger delta get 6 states who surpose join who? Then I realised that things have changed since the Biafra war. |
Janix2:everything narrows down to agreement, many people go into a marriage without solid plans on how it would be run, financed, and grow. if marriage is a life long thing then it is much more important than a career and i don't need to tell how we all prepare and plan our careers but sadly jump into marriage believing that it will take care of it self. It is very important to discuss about finances marriage because it is the second cause of broken marriages after sex. there are methods being agreed upon by couples in financing their marriages 1) bring all the earnings together, draw out a budget and implement it. only humble, united, similar life style, and submissive couples should use this method and it should be agreed upon before marriage. 2) share the bills in accordance with your earning. this also takes a high level of agreement and trust 3) who ever has the money pays the bills. there is usually confusion. 4) the under earning spouse doesn't care and expects the high earner to take care of the bills. there is a lot of tension and disrespect in this home. they may be more but these are the few i know The most important thing is defining the modalities of your marriage before you go into it, talk about everything finances, sex child training, church, where to live, parents, vehicles, house chores, savings, future plans, short medium long term goals, vision. that's what courtship is meant for no going to fast food restaurants, clubs, and having sex. Marriage is a team (Together Each Achieves More). it is also the industry where you give up the I's for the US. |
Fayose better speak now cos Ekiti gate is next. Captain Koli in town. I really don't understand these PDP guy's, Wike would have won hands tied to his back without any irregularities and I believe he will still win the rerun, I just don't understand their obsession with landslide victory, and they make it now look like their opponent does not have kin folks. |
I think your man is just indisciplined and irresponsible, being in the UK he can earn enough by doing customer service or PPI job to sustain your family and he seems to me that he gets work but he is not serious enough to keep it. I think u better sit him down and talk to him about his life style and his incoming responsibility. Then secondly better start praying cos only God can change a man's heart. I don't have to tell you how difficult it is to raise a child in as a single mother irrespective of if you have a money or not so do exhaust all options before calling it quit. |
Immaculatebabe:The good thing is that your husband still finds you irresistible and he is not getting sex outside. you need to talk to him, it could be that he is having a difficult time at work, or some lady is tempting him or something. to make him slow down i advise that you both get an extra curricular like gyming or other exercise just to burn out extra energy. talk to him to know what has changed and why he has a high drive, it is not easy being a working mom with children and a husband to care for i think you should let him understand that you are limited and it will only be a matter of time that the pressure will affect your health. |
i'm kind of confused here PMB brought his proposal for INEC Chairman to the council of state, why didnt Gov Fayose raise an opposition to it there and then? Cos it is clearly stated that council of state approved the man in question and by my understanding Fayose as a governor is a member. |
I'm of the opinion that ministers of petroleum is a higher position than GMD NNPC. Both are political positions and can change overnight. If PMB was trying to clip kachikwu's wings it would be foolish to make him oversea the complete oil industry as compared to nnpc alone. |
I'm tired of hearing all these rubbish, the President is the strongest person in the country and ought to use what he has. If GEJ had put his foot down and insist that we had electricity he probably would have still been president. |
I sure hope the matter is settled, enyeama needs to be warned not to go on social media to air his displeasure, he should have reported to NFF about the situation, isn't he now doing same thing now? He just succeeded in defamating the coach's character which I believe is unfair. |
Everything that has a beginning has an end, its sad that your end came this soon and my only hope is that you were in tune with your maker.RIP Alams |
The boko haram problem is a intelligence gathering and handling problem. Our military can keep their mouth shut, once they discover a goat it is straight to the press. They need to infiltrate BH to know how they operate. We need military officers subtly joining boko haram and getting intelligence Dow to war room. |
The choice is yours for the pick cos either ways can go right or wrong. So decide what you want and go for it. |
