You didn't include feeding & factor in raining season plus he most likely would be useless at night. boxer022: I believe offer A will be good for him looking at his present location of residence. Transportation being the key element, if it will cost him about 3k a day both to and fro, at the end of the month it will be 90k. He still has 110k to himself. Option B if it cost him about 2k a day for transport, by month end he has only 60k left for him. Option C offers accomodation, how will it be deducted from his salary? My advice is for him to go for offer A. |

Charlesedet: Go for offer A, struggle with the distance and try to meet up early at work and wen ur rent is due, secure an accommodation closer to offer A location Have you considered his a married man and not a Bachelor, he fats bills such as PHCN, school fees, feeding, rent and daily expenses. Do you even know how much it cost to rent an apartment in Lekki? |

As a hiring manager and an employer for several years, I have learnt a lot about people.
Lessons that stood out were;
1. Not all jobless people who seek employment are willing to do what it takes to keep the jobs
2. A lot of people who claim to desperately need an income, are not willing to do what it takes to earn it or keep earning it
3. People who claim to desperately need jobs often than not end up being bad hires. Majority want the sympathy associated with their situation and not necessarily the opportunity to change the situation
On this platform, I have received thousands of messages from job seekers, some of whom I invited for interviews or linked them up with interviews and never showed up.
I have also posted job opportunities here and would receive messages right after interviews from a follower asking for opportunities
We have had people apply and invited for interviews and only 60-70% would show up for the interviews, 50% of whom would be Ill prepared.
I have linked up people with opportunities with peers and they would quit for flimsy reasons such as ‘it is far from home’
Workforce management has become a huge challenge, let’s not even delve into the Generation Z…. That’s a thesis topic for a PHD.

 Yusufisraelj: Really who school help? A refined mind thinks better in business and succeeds more than a crude mind.
@temitope66
First have bountiful savings that can cover you for a session from school demands to personal petty cash.
Secondly you said you have a high in demand skill, that doesn't change anything, do you understand the dynamics of attracting customers and securing revenues from them? without this very skill you may experience lack, therefore test this skill within your environs and see how you could secure a good and sustainable customer base, if it doesn't depend on people, say skills in forex or cryptos then by all means if you have consistent results and a proven mentor you're good to go.
All the best bro, we're at the same spot at the moment, I seek further studies as well. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Beware Of Office Instigators by Hamachi(op): 2:45pm On Feb 01, 2023 |
Beware of Office Instigators,
They instigate quarrels, gossip, and negativity and act like they know nothing about it.
A workplace bully can make your time on the job painful. While most individuals in the workplace are eager to form comfortable and mutually respectful, relationships, others seem more eager to stir up trouble and create conflict. If your workplace is home to an instigator, the way in which you handle this individual could prove important. If you mishandle your interactions with this person, you will likely find that he is successful in his attempts to create trouble. If, on the other hand, you tackle this instigator's attempts at upset effectively, you can likely thwart his efforts.
Ways to handle instigators:
👉Identify the problem.
👉Assess the behavior.
👉As the saying goes, "actions speak louder than words." Watch the behavior and listen to the language of your colleagues.
👉Take effective action when Instigators make the first attempt.
👉Don't let the problem fester.
👉Safeguard your reputation . 👉Don't sink to their level.
Be careful how you relate with colleagues, we have instigators in many organizations and you think they are your friends, When you have to interact with colleagues, keep your conversation strictly business.
Do not give room or hint for anyone to cause trouble with your Name, Be polite and cordial, not overly friendly. Don't share with them your personal business and don't allow them to tell you theirs. When they attempt to spread gossip, change the subject, or get curious and ask fact-seeking questions.
When you show no interest in office shenanigans and refuse to feed into their pathology, they will soon lose interest. |
