At least I have more values than you can ever attain all your life.
If only you will tell yourself the truth.

Even a 3 year old girl has more values and thinks things through properly before talking. Your emptiness shows in your utterances.

Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what value you have. It's not by proudly carrying a third leg. The blood has to circulate to your brain also to be able to use it to think about the values you should have.

Good day.

1. The movie should have been done by a neutral person, and not someone with a biased view.

2. He should have at least waited for the case to end or be settled. Why the hurry?

My own contribution with my small head is that if you want to get the best and most loyal wives, go for evening newspapers.

They must have searched, bound and cast. They might have lost hope. Eventually if they get you, they will be as loyal as ever.

They only problem will be that they will be very possessive. But they will truly appreciate you as their husbands. You know that anything gotten so easily is not appreciated.
Your head is really small

Na wa o. So you just prefer to marry a Nigerian woman that has no value over a westerner with plenty value to go round?

You see yasef! You don't have value my guy.

Kudos to him for his productive unwanted donation. At least today the product of that sperm is making someone proud.

Egbe! All of you are the same, so stop pretending as though there are some other kinds of you! That line of "you attract your kind" is what you all come up with in arguments like this, but some of us have studied you like books and drawn our conclusions that you all are the same! Educated o, wealthy o, beautiful o, ugly o, y'all share same attributes when it comes to relationships with the male gender!
You actually sound like someone without any value to add to another human being, but just there to criticize and find fault.

I just feel for the girls you will father, who will grow up believing they have no value because their father says Nigerian women cannot have value.

Obviously, you have chosen the option not to work on yourself, so feel free to attract your kind.

Or better still, run along and go wash plates and do "boy boy" for your "colonial masters" with value. I can just picture one proud egoistic Nigerian man whistling while he's doing the dishes. cheesy

Yes it true that we always claim that family is everything, they will never desert you bla bla bla....but my main question is, is your family always right in taking your top ranking position of importance..?

Many atimes we have heard of family members betrayals just like friends do. We have heard of family abandonment of a sibling, we have seen a lot if times how elder siblibgs jettision youger ones and face thier own life...

My girlfriend is an orphan with four other siblings. Who grew apart in other relatives houses. Everyone is now adult..she cant seem to get over her emotional connections to her siblings, always claming they com first even before her lover or eventual hubby or even the children she will birth...

Looking at the family, I don't even see what is so special a sacrifice they have done for themselves. Example her eldest bro who earns over 600k monthly gave her a paltry 15k for a trip to sokoto for her NYSC. A place she has never been to..this includes t/fare, feeding etc. Her siblings would never feel like being around each other except it calls for a serious Holiday like xmas...there are many more I can't list here.

Wtf! My family have much more sacrifices for each other yet we understood the roles new person entering the family through love have in each and everybody's lives....

People are so two faced in this country claiming family family but dont really care..for the ladies that wil crop up on this thread..first ask yourself how many times have your brother bought you exmas gift or burthday gift before you open ur lieing mouth

Mind you this is not to underscore, the relevance of family bond, but everyone that affects your life should be rightly placed where they importantly belong.
It is wrong for her to say that her siblings will come before her husband and children though.

But really, this is how you men always say how your family will still come first before your wives because they are blood and she is not. This is exactly how it feels.

At least the oyibo woman will have some values attached to her. Unlike our Nigerian women that have only their vagina to offer yet want to lord over their men and cut them off from their families.

Having said the above, I personally still prefer our black sisters because I'm more sexually attracted to blacks, but when I marry them, I expect them to be humble, submissive and committed to their duties in my kitchen, and never try to interfere with my relationship with my family. I'll provide for her which is what many of you crave for.
Just say that all the women you have ever attracted only have their vaginas to offer. That says a lot about you and not all the Nigerian women all over the world. Instead of trying to run down your fellow women to make yourself feel superior, work on yourself so that you can attract better women with value. Do you even think you have any value? cheesy

For you to think it's only white women who have value is really pitiable and shows you have complex issues. If all the Nigerian women in your lineage are valueless, you don't have to generalize it.

But if you refuse to work on yourself, it won't be hard for you to find that woman without value who will be humble and committed to her duties in the kitchen, because that's what you attract tongue

It is the negative news you choose to dig out and focus on.

I asked and I ask again...what about the countless and endless list of men who stay with their families after having a child/children? Your neighbours, colleagues, family members and friends. Do they all run away?

The men who stay with their families when their wives gives birth are much more than the ones who run. Look around you and stop shopping for negative news about men online.

I mean he was no there through thick and thin.
You took in, gave birth and train the child alone. He runs away like most men do once their wives give birth.
Now the child is about to get married and he comes to perform the marriage rites as a father.

Is it proper?
Where did you get these statistics that most men run when their wives give birth?

It seems you only choose to see the bad situations and stories concerning men. Women give birth everyday and husbands take responsibility for their children.

Miss dammypat

Accept my apology as you keep reminding me that my words on the promiscuity part are a bit too hash of which I did edit them a little.

Even if you previously asked me to go get married, it is a good thing. If you ask me to marry a Godly woman, it is a good thing. I have made up my mind that when I pick a woman and settle down, I will expect the worst from her.

I have convince myself that, there is no Godly woman out there, women are women with different shade of characters.

I repeat; women are perfect and wonderful mothers, but they are terrible wives

OP is trying to know if the father should be part of the marriage ceremony when he wasn’t part of the child’s life.

I mentioned forgiveness because it is only those that are still holding on to the past that will ask such questions. If our mother had swallowed or our father had used condom, none of us will be here to debate their rights or wrong.

forgive, learn from it, move on and do better.

Just an advice, if you meet a man that has such issues against his mother or father, don’t marry him until he changes completely.

Also note that, someone doesn’t necessarily need to seek your forgiveness before you forgive that person.
I get your point.

My comment was based on someone just being important only because he needs to come perform marriage rites.

To forgive or not to forgive is story for another day

so what will you say about people that prays to God every day and thinks their prayers are not answered? Should we also say God does not acknowledge their existence?

What I know is, no matter what a father or a mother did in the past, it shouldn’t make you think or reason like the OP.

I had the worse case while growing up, but today he uses every opportunity he gets to apologize for his wrongs because he never expected the love and care I show him.
If you followed my comment to the first one, you would understand my responses. It was to the below bolded comment:

The interesting thing about being a man is, no matter what you did in the past, they must still look for you to come break the kola.

Nothing was said about forgiveness or someone asking for forgiveness, but them "looking" for someone to come and break kola just because he donated sperm.

Would they have to look/search for him if he was someone that wanted forgiveness and to be part of the child's life?

So having someone just come and do marriage rites just because he is the biological father doesn't really change anything.

Of course he will go back to his life, but his blessings will follow you to your new home whether you like it or not. That’s the essence of breaking kola.
That's the lie that is usually told. A father is much more than a sperm donor. Someone else who cared for a child and showed that child fatherly love is worth more than the biological father, and his blessings superceeds that of the biological father.

Don't let anyone lie to you about blessings from someone who never even acknowledged your existence.
Family › Re: Difference Between Nigerian Women & Western Women by ImaIma1(f):
It good when a Nigerian man marries a westerner. It humbles them and cut those wings that they like to puff up for their fellow Nigerian women.

The man is always mellow, does house chores joyfully and doesn't allow his family intrude or come and live with him. All that rubbish he can dish out to a Nigerian woman by allowing his family torment her, acting like doing chores is an abomination to a man, he cannot try it with his foreign wife.

Many of them even hide to send their families at home money to avoid problems. So yeah, it's good to see the Nigerian man broken and humble, especially those proud ones wink

N.B

Most guys will ignore and turn two blind eyes to this post even the op. You guys can't stand this kind of truth. cheesy

The good thing is that after he breaks the kola, he returns to his life without the child in it and everybody goes back to their lives.

One day of breaking kola is not enough to change the situation.
