isthatso: Good news but i caution that this is usually where problems start for Nigerian airlines. Airpeace is too small to be running different types of aircraft. They need maximum efficiencies and they wont get that by using Embraer and Boeing 737s on regional routes. Even bigger airlines like Easyjet. Ryanair, use one manufacturer. Easyjet uses only Airbus they have 333 A300s, Ryanair has 412 planes, all of them Boeing 737s. Southwest has 700 planes all of them 737s. Those who use 2 manufacturers usually have huge numbers to justify the duplication. For instance jet blue has 60 Embraer and 195 Airbus 300 series.
It is not efficient for an airline to operate different manufacturers of planes in the same segment (regional) especially for a small carrier. i hope it just means they have cancelled their 737 max orders and moved to Embraer
I wish them well and I hope my fears dont prove prophetic because |I really want them to do well.
fiope: in this video folarin falana a.k.a falz the bad guy is seen talking back at body shamers, especially those who criticize people who are adding weight. watch the video below
/ "I built for my community" is not enough to win an election in Anambra state. There are household names like Ifeanyi Ubah (whose philanthropy spans the state/nation during GEJ's era) who couldn't win a gubernatorial election in Anambra state.
I believe Dr. Maduka tested the water with the full support he gave Mrs Bianca Ojukwu in the last senatorial election. And in his very presence, Bianca was outsmarted and thrashed at ground zero after boasting that about fifteen billionaires were backing her. https://www.nairaland.com/4704646/15-igbo-billionaires-fund-bianca
Politics in Nigeria comes with a lot of fake promises. They will try to suck him in to swindle him. On the day of the primary, it will be like magic how loyalty will be switched. Whatever lesson he learned during the Bianca saga should be enough to guide him. But he doesn't run, sycophants won't "chop". Whose interests are at stake if he runs? Primarily the sycophants.
/ Jonathan is never a leader. But Nigerians will follow anyone imposed on them. Impose a monkey, and they will praise it to high heavens as the modern father of leadership.
/ All fingers are not equal. The world is not perfect. Bible mentioned rich and poor people many times which means it acknowledged the existence of both classes of people. The criterion for crossing over doesn't depend on tithe. You can continue to tithe and remain poor. That's what's happening today but the recipient of the tithe would have people believe otherwise because that's their source of income
Bible is a funny book. So Mathew and co. called Judas a thief and still moved with him until the betrayal of Christ. What did he steal from the disciple? Why did they retain him as the treasurer if money kept disappearing?
Who created darkness? Who created water? Whose daughters did Cain and Abel marry? No assumptions. But let's go with biblical facts.
Ghana is crying more than the bereaved. She doesn't share any borders with Nigeria. To the north of Ghana is Burkina Faso, to the West is Cote D'Ivoire while Togo is on the east and Atlantic ocean is on the south. They can always trade with their neighbour countries.
If Ghanains need Nigeria (more than the neighbours) to stay afloat economically, then they need to check their unwarranted "chest-beating".
I think the first condition will be for their President to go on their national TV and proclaim that "Nigeria's jollof rice is better".
henrixx: gbagam. I was in darkness. During that period i spent time reading motivationals.
I realized that these everyday motivationals aren't it. It will tell you never give up or you are almost there. but i tell you my brother theres a time to stop, theres a time to give up and fight another day. It was a dark experience for me.
/ Why do people complain about "motivational" speakers? They are doing their jobs. If you are sinking down to the bottom of the ocean, their job description entails cheering you on with standing ovation until you finally drown. Until you drown, their job is to motivate you even if you are swimming against the tide.
EFULEFU1: I am planning to marry her. We Have courted for one year.
I have caught her stealing my money twice but in all cases, she wept, knelt and begged me, saying it is the spirit of succubus and incubus that makes her do that.
I forgave her because I am mad over this girl. I so love her.
Now I caught her via her phone chats, that she has been deleting her chats with a guy she claims is her classmate. After not talking to her for two days, she wept and knelt to beg me, confessing that, the guy has proposed to her and that the spirits of succubus and incubus made her delete the chats.
She says I should take her to a prophet for deliverance.
I so love her
Please what do you advise?
Thanks
/ The best you can get out of a person is while you are still dating because it is the campaign season. After marriage, it reduces to being good or bad but rarely the best.
She is already cheating and stealing during campaign when most people are at their best. Don't mock God that exposed her. But then, someone's mistake is a good lesson to others. So you can go ahead and marry her.
/ Take a closer look at #1-30 on the list, many of them made it in Technology. Only #14 (Indian) made it in Energy (Oil and Gas). The other countries (even Saudi Arabia) are railroading their economy towards Technology. But in your dear Nigeria, they believe that their oil will rule forever.
/ I don't even know why they went to court in the first place.
It will be difficult to establish that rape occurred on three different occasions and in three different locations.
I believe that he might have forced himself on her the first time. But then it became consensual in the subsequent encounters. But along the line, promises were broken or expectations were not met.
The fact that a self-acclaimed pastor is entangled in this mess is what baffles me. But then I remember that he is a pastor in Nigeria, such behaviour is not unexpected.
/ Is this the only way they hope to catch up with the "Developers"?
I bet you they are praying for a trailer full of longspan roofing sheets and iron rods to summersault in Sango as well not excluding a tipper with 3/4 gravels to breakdown on the expressway. /
/ If they are serious, they should do sit out in front of the house. The only way Buhari can leave will be by helicopter. If nothing else, just to inconvenience him and his visitors.
Anyone can hide in here behind a faceless forum, while eating his/her mother's food and type sh1t. Go out there, in the real world and call Fatoyinbo a rapist.
Fatoyinbo by law, is free man and doesn't have the "rapist" tag hanging on his neck. If you call him a rapist out there, your scrawny black azz will be hauled into jail
Pafoma: Guys! I need serious, real and honest contributions.. Thanks to all that will contribute.
I have a lady whom i am dating. I truly love and care about her but she has been with people that are in my circle and this disturbs me. She didnt used to be a straightforward and totally faithful person but i see that she is making efforts towards being completely honest and straightforward but still i dont have rest in my spirit about taking the decision to marry her.
I have observed she is soft with guys and is not firm, although i am aware it takes time for someone used to a particular pattern or lifestyle to adjus. I need help because breaking up with this lady will mean that i have to look for someone else to start the entire circle with again and who knows what if the new one also comes with even worse baggages.
My questions are these
1. What do you advice i do? 2. Who has been in similar situation where you fell in love with a lady your friends and circle have been with then married her? What was the experience like including things to look out for.. 3. How can be sure i wont regret the decision to go forward?
Please feel free to ask me any question and i’ll answer if they are not sarcastic or jokes..
Thank you.

There is no reason not to marry her-- the least being that if you have to die, you will die quicker.
DEBJOCH1: I SO MUCH LOVE THAT, EVERY LAZY MEN NOW DO TREASURY BILL INSTEAD OF INVEST THE MONEY TO CREATE MORE JOB AND EMPLOYMENT. A N1M PUT IN USE INTO A RIGHT BUSINESS WILL BRING YOU MORE THAN 20% ROI AND SAME N1M WILL TAKE AT LIST 2 HOME OUT OF LABOUR MARKET, BUT WHAT PEOPLE DO IS TO GIVE THE MONEY TO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN THE NAME OF TREASURY BILL. KUDOS TO GOVERNMENT MONETARY REGULATORS ON THIS, THEY SHOULD FURTHER SCRATCH DOWN THE RATE TO 1% TO DISCOURAGE PEOPLE FROM DINING TB. THERE ARE THOUSAND AND ONE THINGS TO INVEST YOUR MONEY INTO, BUT SOME BLIND PEOPLE WONT SEE THE OPPORTUNITY.
/ Name one business that gives 20% ROI in Nigeria after overhead (salaries, rent, tax, diesel/fuel, extortion, etc). Nigeria (especially this Buhari's regime and dearth of infrastructures) is not business friendly--too many unstable variables.
But it seems 'everyone' are actually not the target of this policy... It's those who should be investing big time in businesses but have decided to be indolent via TB.
Maybe CBN should peg principal for TB so that only 'everyone' can partake...
/ Do you really believe that Nigeria as constituted cares for everyone?
They know themselves. Why go through the hassle of business in a country like Nigeria with her volatile business policies when the money could quietly be working for you hassle free?
