European Union has joined the fray.

US is only interested in protecting their business interest. Boeing is weighted heavily in Dow Jones Industrial Average. If investors dump the shares of Boeing, the US stock market will be adversely affected. That is the main reason for the denial about the safety concerns in the ill-fated Boeing 737 Max 8. Who says US is not corrupt? It is a matter of semantics.

If the Ethiopian Airways crash is similar to that of Lion Air (both of which were 737 max 8 planes) then it's more of a pilot error than the plane's. You see, Boeing installed a new security system that some of these pilots failed to learn, it's called MCAS. It was responsible for the Lion Air crash, all the pilots had to do to avoid the crash was to push two switches.

If it's the case for Ethiopian Airways, then it'll be cheaper to educate pilots on the new systems, especially the ones that have the "I've been flying 737s for years" attitude.

But if there's another fault, especially one that can be traced to all other 737 max 8s, then instant grounding is the right choice.

This is the reason why countries like USA and Canada have not grounded the plane yet.

Of course Boeing will try to wriggle out of liabilities by blaming MCAS. UK has grounded all the 737 Max today too. Your infinite wisdom is greater than the Chinese, Indonesia and UK that are taking preemptive measures to forestall future mishaps.

Let Boeing sort itself out. Don't be an unofficial spokesperson in an issue you have no expertise. I detest coons.

I will love to know how far this Akpuoga is from the city center. I know that the estate along Enugu-PH expressway (Centennial or Century?) were having difficulties selling their plots. I guess Buhari's regime dug holes in people's pockets.

The election results from Lagos and other SW states did show that Tinubu's influence is overrated. There was no overwhelming win for APC in the state in this Presidential election.

Hausa/Fulani has shown that Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Borno are the states with the leverage.

Time to relegate Tinubu to the bench again. Osibanjo couldn't even win his ward. His job as a mere errand boy for the cabals has been assigned and confirmed.

It will be interesting watching the plot going forward.
