Another lie to cover up the previous lie. He thinks we are all kids here. Does the European University not have a Twitter handle?

Why does it have to take another of E-money's handles to acknowledge his conferment? This issue has only exposed E-money as an opportunistic no-collar-criminal, a fake-lifer and a fraud.
/
Calm down.

There are many mushroom 1-bedroom universities that will give you an honorary doctorate degree for less than $2500 if that's your aspiration.

Don't forget that degrees in Nigeria are viewed same way as traditional titles. If in doubt, have you heard of any breakthrough invention in Nigeria even with all the Ph.Ds and first class graduates they churn out every year? It is only for bragging rights.

You can read more about this online university here:

Actually, I still feel there is something shady and flawed about the "school" setting as conventionally being run, especially in our climes down here. But for a very few number of courses, There is sparse application and real life impact of what we are being taught vis-a-vis the curriculum still being used. I love learning but not useless, dysfunctional knowledge. I studied Engineering in my country, Naija so I know this vibe!
/
In this day and age, one can learn vast majority of things online through Google and then hands on, through YouTube videos. School is a certificate mill. They just issue a piece of paper to certify that the bearer has been tutored in a particular field. Hardly do you see graduates think outside the box. Thus making school an indoctrination ground. How come there is no groundbreaking invention from Nigeria with all the Ph.Ds and first class graduates being churned out annually? It I because degrees are treated as foreign titles the same way we have traditional titles. How beneficial are the titles? Just for bragging rights and massaging of egos--attributes of empty barrels.

It looks like the friend had a stenographer recording the events. grin

Begging the wife to accommodate his sister? Kneeling down to beg the wife? I can go on and on. My deduction is that the "husband" hired thugs to kill "her" wife. The man was the wife.

Watch as it unfolds. Along the line, they will claim that she suffered many years of domestic violence. It is a cliche'.

/
School is not necessarily a scam. It's just that it doesn't make any sense to keep someone in school for 4-5 years to study non- professional courses. Two years should be more than enough to earn a degree in Humanities/Social sciences, Liberal Arts. Four years for Sociology? Please!

But the tuition is too enticing for the universities to face the facts.

Car Talk › Re: Mercedes’ ₦71m AMG G 63 Battles It Out With Suzuki’s ₦7.6m Jimny by InvertedHammer: 2:20pm On Apr 08, 2019
/
Nonsense!

Are the engine sizes the same? A speedometer is calibrated up to 260km/hr. When is an owner ever going to be doing 260km/hr on the highway? It is pure bragging right. When was the last time you saw a G63 towing a boat?
At the end, both can get you from point x to point y. Engine? Good. Transmission? Good. A/c? Good. Heater? Good. Radio? Good. What else do you want? Would you want a car that gives fellat.io too? While at it, why not do a boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Whizkid and then act all surprised when Whizkid loses.

A Jeep Wrangler at $35k probably has a better offroad capability than the G63 of $160k. Go figure! But Mercedes will never show that.

Forget all the media propaganda.

The good people of Imo state that live and work in the state know the state of affairs.

Successive bad governments in Nigeria did not prevent individual efforts to better their lots. The same goes for Imo state. What one can see in those pictures are individual efforts. Passing through Owerri, it becomes obvious that there is no government presence in that city. The whole place looked depressing. Owerri arguably has the worst road network in the SE/SS regions. What did the government contribute in Emenike's house or Dr. Okpala's Neuro center? Zilch.
Okorocha should just pack up peacefully and go. Giving out contracts to cronies to build white elephant projects is not good governance. The governor ought to be the administrator of the state.

Imo people are the ones who wear the shoe and know where it pinches which explains why they unanimously detest anything Okorocha. It is pointless trying to change the narrative when reality points to the contrary.

Health › Re: My Mother Has Fibroid, I Need Solutions To Stop It Permanently by InvertedHammer: 6:20am On Apr 07, 2019
Pierced:
Hello everyone. Forgive me for this long post.

My mom has been bleeding as a result of fibroid for 2 and half months now. She is suppose to have a sugery and remove the fibroid but the doctors are saying they can't do any sugery until the bleeding stop as it is too risky to perform a surgery on her if she's still bleeding.

4 pints of blood was injected in her as she has lost so much blood, and was getting weaker by the day.

I am scared that the four pints of blood will be wasted again as she's still bleeding heavily.

I need solutions in stoping the bleeding, so the surgery will be done and the bleeding will be stopped. Pls if know anything that can be done so the bleeding can stop, it will be appreciated.

Pls, gynecologist in the house, I urgently need help.

Your mother needs to be under the care of an OBG/Gyn. Her condition requires invasive procedures. Nairaland is not a place to be discussing this issue unless you love gambling.

Going by the results of the 2019 election, Tinubu has no influence beyond SW and marginal influence in the SW. Buhari got the North locked in.

SW:

APC: Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun
PDP: Oyo, Ondo

Osun(?)

This is not an impressive result from a regional godfather. Kingmaker of Nigerian politics? No! By population, whoever controls the 3K (Kano, Kaduna, Katsina) is the dondada.

So it wasn't the Ethiopian pilot's fault afterall, whereas, some of you were claiming ''it must have been pilot error'' that caused the crash.

One nairalander even said something about ''Africans and incompetence'' etc etc.

Bunch of stupid, self-hating nitwits (You know yourselves).
/
As expected.

Other pilots reported fighting with the damned MCAS. The saddest part is that once it triggers for the second time, the only solution is uninstall and reinstall. The culprit is a faulty sensor. Who has that time in a split second decision? But some Nigerians (or Africans) will easily take any blame apportioned by white people. Many of those numbskulls on nairaland. Think about new cars and recalls. Things go wrong in the technology world all the time except that in this case, a lot of lives got taken down.

Celebrities › Re: Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Slams Bala Elkana, Police Spokesperson Over Tattoo, Dread by InvertedHammer: 11:41am On Apr 04, 2019
StevenOba:
Dude common, these gangs has similar tattoos what the police do is whenever a gang related arrest is made, they look out for these similar tattoos on a database this is based on years of profiling.

When you see a Yahuza gang member you would know, same as the MS13 gangs because they have on signature tattoos. So they don't just pick you off the streets because you have tattoos, proper investigations would be on going or concluded then these database of profiled tattoos would be used to identify a gang member.

In Nigeria what the NPF is simply saying is they don't have time for all that oyinbo investigation or profiling, if you have on tattoos or dreadlock then you are guilty period no investigation no nothing you can be harassed , tortured or locked up. Arresting someone simply because they have tattoos or dreadlocks is just a lazy way of policing and that is why we have tons of innocent ones behind bars. Because in Nigeria as long as the arresting officer says you are guilty then so be it.
When we start allowing the police to tell us how to wear our hair or what to do with our skin then we are slowing shedding off every right we have as human to live the way we choose to (as long as it's not harming anyone) they might even start arresting us for listening to rap music or just about anything ( they already arrest for anything in Nigeria now). Forget all that "it's not our culture crap" we are practicing tons of vices that was never our culture... It's a globalized world out there .

The argument here is not wether it's good or not, or wether the holy book says it's a sin or not, the argument is should simply having a tattoo or dreadlock automatically classify you as a criminal? And the answer is NO!!
/
Good points. Which is why grandmas will not be targets.

Davido, Flavour, Wizkid can have all the tattoos they want. One can argue what they term an unjust and discriminatory practice. But only the wise will read in between the lines. Yinka, Emeka or Musa down the street is neither Flavour nor Davido that can get away on personal recognition. The same NPF may even be providing security for Flavour and Davido. Who says life is fair? Short people have challenges. Tall people have challenges. Now some youths have added unnecssary challenges to their lives by tattooing their bodies with images of axe, gun, knife, cross. SARS will not arrest a female with a flowery tramp stamp.

I still wonder why they omitted sagging. Those ones shouldn't be arrested but I advocate 12 lashes on bare buttocks.

You've probably not seen someone who has natural dreadlocks.
My mother has a tattoo.
Profiling criminals based on looks is a lazy way. Most criminals neither have dreads nor tattoos
/
Everyone and everybody know the tattoos they are referring to but chose to play ignorant. Crosses, scorpion, knives, guns, etc are not the kind of tattoos one will expect from a productive member of the society. It doesn't help that they are so hideously done that you want to gouge their eyes.

Go to Port Harcourt, you will understand. The average Fulani woman or grandma in the village will not be arrested. But those loafers (forming fine boys) in the city while planning their evil activities (Yahoo plus, robbery, cultism, etc) need to be checked.

The NPF has told you what they are looking for. Once you understand that none of the people bitching online will stand with you when it comes down to it, then you do the needful. When the words were out that some people are stealing female pants, most went on the defensive to protect themselves. Forewarned is forearmed. Words are our now that NPF are looking for losers with tattoos and dreads, why can't people take precautionary measures not to become easy targets?

Moving on, I see the way Nigerian girls dress because they watch too much of American movies. If you dress like that walking down the street, you will definitely get cat calls from men, some will honk at you and the police may harass you for possible prostitution. Yep! And I live in California where it is supposed to be going down.

Just give the police nails and hammer to be nailing these folks to the cross.
