Mizwisdom: This life is a mystery. I can picture the mother trying to keep the boy away from his father as a kid, a man who did not contribute anything to his welfare. She was the one with him through childhood sicknesses, she did the hard work but now that he's all grown, the young man rebels and decides to search for his dad against her wish The dad will surely reap where he did not sow, he'll turn the guy to a bank where he can withdraw money at will. After a few years the young man will learn the true nature of his father but he won't still severe the relationship. His father will use him until his last breath meanwhile the mum will gradually soften her stance (wetin she go do before?) It always ends this way and the cycle continues.
/ I guess you have lived in Nigeria all your life.
/ They fought to keep a comatose Yar'Adua as President.
What makes you think they won't do worse with a demented Buhari? All they need is someone with a pulse to be the President. The weaker the better. So that they will have an ample opportunity to loot and unhindered access to the treasury.
99.9999% of folks shouting "Sai Baba" stand to get nothing from his re-election. Mere hero worshipping.
jjbest123: From your write up,he manufactures. I'm thinking of buying IVM Bus for my firm, due to high cost of hiace bus,but the way people bad talk IVM products,i'm afraid.
/ The same people that feel fly wearing Aba shoes with the inscription "Made in Italy".
Unhealthy: I had to open this new moniker so that I can share my problems without any shame
I developed the staphylococcus infection last year through toilet I life has been so terrible for me.
I have been battling with constant headache, fatigue and shortness of breath, and a worm like movement in my body for a long time. Sometimes I feel numbness on the part of my body and it's really affecting me. My boss has been complaining about my incompetence at work and it's possible I lose my job if things continue this way
I've gone to several hospitals and spend a lot of money to conduct series of test after which blood culture revealed I have a heavy growth of Staphylococcus Aureus.
I took the result to a doctor and he prescribed Pefloaxin for me and I also took five injection to flush this bacteria and it seemed like I was getting out of the bond of this bacteria until the symptoms returned back few weeks later.
I decided to resort to Nairaland because most of the doctors I've gone to are incompetent, and I don't want to take too much antibiotics so that my body will not become resistant to it.. The way this staph is affecting me is becoming unbearable. I can't sleep or breath well
Someone suggested I go to general hospital since they seem to be more experienced but all na the same. They are always too much in a hurry to attend to patients and prescribe drugs.
Please if you have treated this stubborn infection before, how did you manage to cure it completely? Did you use drugs or herbs?
I know many carriers of this bacteria normally get scammed by online advertisers and I know they will flood this thread with their fake herbal drugs. Please I need you to come to my aid and don't look for a way to swindle money from me with ineffective drugs
Here is the result of my test.
Please help me move this to the FP for a wider audience
/ Whichever hospital where talks of Vancomycin i.v is mentioned is where you need to be especially if yours is resistant to methycilin.
Use those two words when next you consult a doctor. Nothing that you can get from a roadside Pharmacy will cure it. Don't waste your money.
hungryboy: Vote for who? As a hopeless Nigerian youth, getting into the Big brother house will surely bring you fame and fortune while Buhari or Atiku winning the election will only make them, their cabal, family and friends richer. So give me one good reason why i go go stand for sun dey wait to vote for either of 'em?
/ In a society where everyone is as selfish as stated, you end up with Nigeria.
Continue living in the churches praying to God to save us.
naptu2: What do you mean by Canadian law or Nigerian law??
Of course the hate speech will not be stated in the interview. (1) Different people said different things on different stations. (2) He said that the letters to the stations are on his desk. The infractions that each station committed will be stated in the letter to that particular station.
/ You really have confidence in these people.
Will it surprise you if I tell you that there are no such letters on any desk anywhere?
naptu2: NBC's job is to hold the stations responsible. They regulate the broadcast media, not the politicians.
There was an example that ocurred in Canada. Mike Tyson appeared on a TV show in Canada. He was in that region to support a charity event that the mayor was holding.
However, the mayor was being investigated for committing a crime and the TV host asked Tyson if it didn't look bad that Tyson, who was convicted of rape, was supporting another person that was accused of a crime.
The question annoyed Tyson and he started swearing on the show ( "You are a piece of sh*t". "F*ck you", etc).
The host tried to move on to another question, but Tyson kept swearing at him until they ended the interview.
The Canadian version of our NBC fined the TV station. They said that the TV station should have cut off Tyson after he swore the first time and that it was the TV station's fault for continuing the interview after Tyson swore the first time.
Kellibae: Uncu be cow, oh. This only shows u that EVERYONE IS USELFUL. ur brain should have told u his condition is the reason why he is not abroad with them and mind u he is not insane as they presented it, he is just unrepentant drunk. And he is the immediate family of the hubby that's why he represented, some1 else from extended family would have done that .
Baawaa: This one is a mumu,is this how you want to rule us,Sowore confirmed that Onnoghen is corrupt In china, the CJN would have been executed publicly..
In Japan the CJN would have committed suicide.
In Europe the CJN would have resigned.
In the US the CJN would be facing a congressional hearing, and be facing 20 years jail time.
In south Africa his houses would have been vandalized and set on fire and he would be in protective custody so he is not killed by protesters and rioters.
But in Nigeria, a corrupt man being the head of the judiciary is celebrated and SAN's rally round him to fight for him, while d common man comes on Nairaland to support him, with over 40 houses and over N1billion in his account as a civil servant??
we truly belong to poverty as a nation, we really haven't suffered enough.
/ True.
And in the same US, UK, China, etc., Ganduje would have been given a Congressional medal of Honour.
Asshurbanipall: A bag of gworo aka abagworo come and read how APC has iberiberised Okoroawusa. Okoroawusa is now useless and worthless to APC, the next thing is to jail him immediately he hands over power.
/ If only education in Nigeria is real education other than for titles acquisition for ego massage.
Even a first year Law student knows that once under criminal investigation, the best thing the suspect must do is to remain mute. Every statement must be issued by his/ her lawyer. I wanted to know what Law school the ex CJN attended, but then I remembered that he is a Nigerian. Take a Nigerian to Havard, when push comes to shove, his Nigerianness and mediocrity will betray him. Onnoghen said that he forgot to declare his assets. LOL. Of course it is a witch Hunt. But he loaded and handed the guns to his hunters.
I think the Presidency should stop addressing the issue. No matter what, Nigerians can only blow smokes and ain't going to do sh1t. Might as well ignore them.
megacity: you have to sympathize with Osinbajo....it's never going to be easy for a Prof and SAN to work as deputy to an imbesilitic illiterate
If things work the way they should in this country, Osinbajo would be president while Buhari would be like one of his domestic staff
/ Not necessarily. Degrees in Nigeria are just for the titles. Prof this, prof that. That's why once outside Nigeria, they need to be retrained to ascertain their real capability.
Everything about Nigeria is jagajaga. Both the people and the environment.
When justice was denied to Kalu, El Zakzay, etc, everyone kept mute and carried on unconcerned.
The funny thing is that the devil you give taciturn support will always bare its fangs against its supporters. Nigerians support evil if they are not the direct victims. Remarkably, karma always come knocking in a hard way.
It reminds us of Omenkalives, anti-Biafra and subsequent herdmen massacre in his home state of Benue. The National Assembly had all the opportunities to checkmate Buhari. Saraki blocked them all when he was still in bed with APC. Now the tide has turned. Folks keep making the same mistakes repeatedly and expect different results. Who is a f00l?
twinskenny: lol had similar experience in Awka anambra state.. queen suite used to be the best around but then what happend? was there last two weeks place was deserted.. no water no light.. i quickly changed my mind
/ Building a hotel turned out to be status symbol for some people. The average lifespan of a hotel in Nigeria is five years. If it remains fully functional after five years, then it will be ok.
How Queens Suites went from 100 to 0 in a very short time is disheartening. /
// I thought they said Nnamdi Kalu is crazy for stating the obvious.
Dude is chilling in Israel.
For the naysayers and cowards, enjoy your Buhari.
For those who think my taunting is disgraceful, I promised to enjoy your pain and suffering under Buhari when it starts again. I am just keeping my promises. This is just the beginning.
