Pardon me.

But where do people come off not paying someone for services rendered?

How did this issue of salaries in arrears become the norm in Nigeria?

It is quiet as disturbing as it is appalling

Richiy: Seriously? Only girls without self-respect and pride would be swayed by money. For some of us, our dignity is actually more important than money of all forms including recharge cards.
Each time I keep hearing "is not about money"...where are these girls that don't care about money?

Even when they make their own money, women still look for cheap handouts. I was appalled by the number of runz girls in Abuja
that have regular jobs. Yet, they are out hunting for extra cash and hoping to luckily connect with "oga on top" on one of
their expeditions. The insatiable aspect of money is a big factor in life and women are not spared.

Maybe these "no money babes" in your imagination live in another planet

Best way to get Nigeria chicks? Just make money, have nice ride(s) and ignore them.

And by ignoring, I don't mean to be a snub. No! It is all about packaging...act like you have more important things to do.

The lack of attention attracts them. Reverse psychology at work!

Tried so many times and confirmed. Leykkis 101!!

..You are welcome. Now go out there and hustle!

Ebig22: if i say i'm not fed up with nigeria then i'm decieving myself.
i'm just frustrated that i can kill someone now.many problems in mylife and in nigeria.feel like i can make a coup.but i cnt.feel like changing nigeria and i cant.all this situation is making me to ask questions,
if God is not in nigeria,i mean if he is in other countries.?i mean cant God make everyone equal? can God change nigeria?m i still gonna make it? cause m loosing the enthusiasm i had as a child.i had a dream but its not coming to pass.
i wish i can leave nigeria for a better place.i wish God can make me rule nigeria.i wish i had someone who can help with my dreams.boko haram and their trouble, pipeline vandalism, unemployment,ASUU strike, poor health, corruption, foolishness, lazy generation.nigeria is just cursed.
men am tired in olamides voice.Bleep nigeria and its leaders.i dont know why i am a nigerian.i just hate nigeria.
nairalanders i just need a ray of hope but i cant see it.nothing is coming like i dreamt.
[b]@OP: Your problem is that you are mentally lazy. Instead of killing someone, you should channel your frustration to appropriate place to earn some results. I guess you are hoping for easy handout. Typical Nigerian...not willing to sacrifice anything.

At your level of frustration, do you know how easy it is to make it in Nigeria? Especially now that you feel that you have nothing more to lose and the future gets dimmer as the days go by. How about this?

First thing tomorrow morning, take a nice shower, dress up and walk into Aso Rock and tell them that you are now the president of the country.

Two things will happen:

1) The security personnel will take you serious and take orders from you in which case you can build Nigeria of your dream. You will become a hero overnight. OR

2) The security personnel will beat the living be-Jesus out of you. This action will attract sympathy from nPDP, ACN and APC. They will embrace your ideology and make you their party chieftain overnight. You will be giving speeches in political rallies and sure be getting large chunk of the national cake. You will become a hero overnight.

It is a win-win situation. President vs. Party chieftain. Either way, you will hammer.

You see you could make better use of your frustration to better you life. Think outside the box.

By the way, my guy (the stow away kid) from Edo is now enjoying his own national cake. Who would have thought?

Use your brain. NO GAIN WITHOUT PAIN

Politics › Re: Rivers State VS Rwanda: Why Amaechi Should Is An Underachiever by InvertedHammer: 4:04pm On Sep 23, 2013
Rossikk: Oh lawd here we go again. Biafrangoat sees a FEW pics of the choicest part of Kigali and CONCLUDES that ''no city in Nigeria can blah blah blah'', including Abuja, where she's probably never stepped her foot in. Fact is Abuja is miles ahead of Kigali.

Abuja

What has showing pictures of FCT got to do with this thread?

An issue is brought up using statistical and pictorial data to compare 2 cities in Africa and you are posting pictures of FCT without any similar comparison in terms of budget, allocations, etc.

No wonder people fail their exams. You did not address the issues raised. Rather you showed how ignorant you are!

OP:

You did a marvelous job. I have always advocated that Nigeria should be compared with her fellow supposedly failed nations.
The reason is to prove that contrary to denial by most ignorant masses, Nigeria is a 4th world country.
Also comparing Nigeria vs. USA or UK will bring out the blind-followers whose excuses are anchored on how many years USA and UK have been in existence.

But when you show how things are done in Rwanda, Liberia, Zimbabwe vs. Nigeria, the true pictures usually stand out

Car Talk › Re: Honda Ball Joints And Upper Arms Problem by InvertedHammer: 11:14pm On Sep 20, 2013
/
There is no way around it.

First thing first, you are driving a car in an environment that is not suitable for it. The intention of Honda is never that their vehicles will be subjected to such abuses as seen on Nigeria roads.

Nigeria roads are made for Off-road reinforced vehicles. Oyibo people pay money to join Off-road clubs so that they can drive their
Off-road SUVs in roads that are similar to Nigeria roads.

Solution is to buy a vehicle with due consideration to the gully and potholes you will be subjecting the unlucky vehicle.

Politics › Re: Text And Meaning Of Patrick Obahiagbon's Discussion On Rivers Crisis - By Sowore by InvertedHammer: 6:49pm On Sep 19, 2013
jim jones: *...meander the interstices of eschewable cataract* - well, here's one for yo a$$! while interstices(plural) means small narrow spaces between stuff, eschewable is not a word. it's one of those words obahiagbon creates in order to drive his point(you know, like kakitomoboplutocracy). obviously created from eschew, eschewable would therefore mean, that which could be eschewed(haha!). cataract in this context should mean a furious/violent downpour of kasala.

**for a good number of the other phrases he used, like transmogrify(metamorphose), terminus a quo(starting point), fons et origo(source and origin), terminus ad quem(end point, destination), etc, etc...he did also state synonyms for the good of the lesser mortals.** cool

perhaps coined from eschew = to avoid; eschewable = avoidable. Patrick! Patrick!!

/
Before an engine runs me down, I will run it down if I so choose.

For top gasket issue (oil mixing with water) resulting in white smokes, I throw in a bottle of Bar's Leaks ($45 value). Pour the solution into the radiator, start the car and let it idle for about 30 minutes. Bingo! And I will drive the car till the wheels fall off.

Head gasket ko! New engine ni.

Works like a charm!

Christianity Etc › Re: The Bible Forbids Tattoos by InvertedHammer: 5:57pm On Sep 15, 2013
I don't know the biblical aspect of tattoos, but most people that get those are suffering from identity crisis..."Gucci Mane did it, so it must be cool".

"Rihanna did it, so it must be cool". There used to be cultural undertone in some tattoos. However, all these knuckleheads and chicken-heads
are just getting it to latch unto something that is missing in their lives---fulfillment.

So to identify with popular culture, they sheepishly feed off of whatever the media idolizes.

..Just as sagging has become a fad.
Sports › Re: Why Do Nigerian Players Born Abroad Refuse To Represent Nigeria? by InvertedHammer: 4:17pm On Sep 13, 2013

You should have asked if those players can locate Nigeria in a map?

I don't want to talk about speaking/understanding native language b/c that will be too much to ask.

By the way, why shouldn't NFF build a local team? Must we look outside for the solutions to every little problem including but not
limited to players, freaking toothpicks to fachaa eze after nkwobi.

Or is embezzlement the only thing that works in that God-forsaken NFF office?

I guess you are trying to be funny.

You need to cut this guy some slack. We all know that he is vertically challenged.

But guess what? He has achieved what most ordinary people could not achieve in Nigeria or anywhere.

You should be thankful to God for his life and ask same God to extend such blessing to your life instead of making

offside ignorant remarks.

If this man's life is not sign of divine manifestation, I don't know what is. God works in a mysterious ways.
