I expect to read scientific interpretations in the comments but tah!! This is just what you get when you bring a magnifying glass out in the Sun. The rays of the sunlight are simply been converged and what do you have, heat which directly heat or melt anything in the area of convergence.

grin grin grin..Like all comments above, if it were to be in Nigeria, the headline would have been "Mysterious building that melts iron".

grin Save my head! grin grin
You are correct. We used to use magnifying glass to burn paper when I was in High School. It was fun!

Remember its no longer USSR/Soviet Union, its just Russia.... Mtcheeeeeeeew..... Bomb them all up America if Russia try's to cover up Assad.
God Bless America!
#Singing Star Spangled Banner#
//

If America barks loud, Russia will recoil to her shell.

All na shakara. Man pass man; country pass country.

Personally I think the world should give Israel a go-ahead order to teach Syria a lesson.

That's when you will know that Syria is nothing ....Oh they sent a letter asking for mercy today to US Congress. Haha

The Syrian government has written to US Congress, warning members against supporting "irresponsible, reckless action" that it claims will injure innocent civilians.
The letter, seen by Sky News, urges Congress to "communicate with us through civilised dialogue rather than the language of fire and blood".
It was sent just days before members are due to vote on whether to approve the use of military force in Syria.
The US holds Syrian President Bashar al Assad's regime responsible for a chemical attack last month, in which it estimates more than 1,400 people were killed.
"We write to you as fathers and mothers, as members of families and communities which really are not so different to yours," the Syrian letter states.

"Moreover, we write to you as human beings asking: if you bomb us, shall we not bleed? Innocent people will be harmed."
The five-page letter, which references quotes from former president Franklin D. Roosevelt, claims an attack could trigger a "bloody, destructive, catastrophic" conflict.
It continues: "Logically, what is the benefit of the Syrian government to commit a chemical attack during the visit of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria within less than four miles from the Commission's residence at the Four Seasons Hotel (in Damascus)?

"For that reason, we urge you to come to Syria, to send a delegation as soon as you can, to see and discover for yourselves what is going on here.
"We invite you to come to Syria to measure the situation before you cut, especially when the cloth that will be cut is human flesh."

The document, sent to John Boehner, the speaker of the House of Representatives, uses similar language to letters sent to British MPs and French politicians in recent weeks.
It mentions the British decision not to support military action and says MPs "took the responsibility to exhaust all avenues of diplomacy before involving their nation in a war".
That letter, received by Commons Speaker John Bercow on August 29, asked: "Before you rush over the cliffs of war, would it not be wise to pause?"

[b]Don't mind all these keyboard war analysts.
The nations of the world know the capabilities of US military...
and that's why they hide their tails between their legs any time US barks.

If not for rules of engagement, US will carpet-bomb Syria back to the stone age...
and Russia ain't gonna do jack else they will face the wrath of US economically and otherwise.

All these nonsense is b/c the Republicans a.k.a hawks are not in the helm of affairs.
Remember George W? He would have told the UN inspectors to step off and start making the bombs rain

Like it or not, the introduction of chemical weapon into conflicts will affect everyone if this action of Syrian government goes unpunished. Wait until Boko Haram gets access to it. Then it will be too late.

Like joke, like joke...that's how kidnapping started. People did not pay attention until it spread like wild fire.
It is either you proactively nip a problem in the bud or one stands the risk of letting it grow into some insurmountable
wahala.

Assad must be thought a lesson.

Travel › Re: Should I Quit My Job For Masters In The Us? by InvertedHammer: 5:54pm On Sep 02, 2013
Getting a job in US depends on the kind of visa you have.

Getting IT job is not easy especially as a lot of companies require security clearance which by your visa status you may not have.

However, if you have the balls/finance, give it at least 4-5yrs to be fully integrated into the US job market. Can you handle that?

Breaking into IT in US may be challenging b/c the Indians and Asians are the ones who run the show. And they tend to employ their likes, that is subtle nepotism. But hey! the world is never fair. But if you really want to live in US, you can make the move. When you get here, you can become a nurse. You starting with wiping old peoples' a?ss, then progress to giving medications and finally to being a real nurse.

I hope you do your research well. When everything else fails, you can do the same program online when offered by reputable institutions.

The surgeon sculptured the perfect wife (or so he thought).

The wife will sculpture the perfect alimony and child support...especially now that they are in the news.

Her defense attorneys will argue that she was under mind control of the surgeon...

Militant feminists will argue that it is a disrespect to womanhood...

Other men will cry out--what a mugu!!! ...

Now all the odds are stacked against this "wanna-be celebrity" surgeon.

And the jury will ask for a larger than life pay out.

This drama is only unfolding...

Sidajili: Designed in Nigeria, built/assembled in China or Designed in China, built/assembled in Nigeria... bottom line is, skill, knowledge and experience is required to achieve either. Both design and build/assembly skills compliment each other and are both vital in technology..

For those still not understanding that the words 'build' and 'assemble' are synonymous, these might help:

build (verb) - construct (something, typically something large) by putting parts or material together over a period of time. "the factory was built in 1936"
synonyms: construct, erect, put up, assemble;

assemble (verb) - fit together the separate component parts of (a machine or other object).
"a factory that assembled parts for trucks"
synonyms: construct, build, fabricate, manufacture, erect, set up, put together, piece together, connect, join..
Wrong...not a matter of semantics.

Technology is not sociology
Fashion › Re: Indecent Dressing Among People Of Developing Countries by InvertedHammer: 3:19pm On Aug 29, 2013

I don't get it...After so many years in California, I am yet to see the girls that dress so provocatively as the girls as I see on the streets in Nigeria. The exceptions to that are the corner-side prostitutes looking for Johns. But the police are quick to pick them up for indecent dressing, public nuisance and solicitation. Another place would be in the night clubs.

Other than that, I have never seen anyone dress these ways all these years. Correct me if I am wrong.
I guess Nigeria girls are taking hip-hop costumes too far. Ignorance is bliss

Wallie: Of course he didn't build the air frame! You buy all the parts needed, and depending on the configuration, program as necessary. In an autonomous plane, which is what I did, it is akin to buying the different parts of a car and trying to build one from scratch. You have to program the controller for the air frame type so that it flies straight, solder the autopilot, gps modules, telemetry radios, on screen display, power filters, voltage regulators, magnetometer, amplifiers, batteries, antennas, servos, cameras etc
Who are you trying to impress with all these power filters...magnetometer crap?

Just order the damn box and use a screwdriver to put it together.

Stay away from textbook materials and be more practical my man.

I bet you don't even know what a soldering iron looks like.

gps module ko, telemetry radios ni!
