Donjazzy12: After watching the debate, I am seriously doubtful of the much touted world class experience of Obiano. Why? The man can't even speak without notes. Was shivering and stammering all through. He looked and acted so uncomfortable. Peter Obi should just leave that man alone. Governorship of Anambra state is beyond his league! People are easily swayed by paper qualifications. But life is different "A" students are usually lecturers...people who cannot do resort to teaching. "B" students are mainly employees "C" students and drop-outs are the moneymakers. ".D" students are touts. "F" students are criminals. Who says life is fair? I don't trust the Obiano guy because of the way he was drafted by Gov. Obi |
/ You are gradually being domesticated. Your wife na 'guy' woman! Next thing, she will start complimenting the way you wash plates, clothes and sweep the floor. =============================================================================== Cupidora and Polio: if they no born una well, make una correct this my grammar. // |
/ There is a huge difference between English as used in verbal communication and the English you write for an official presentation. If you hear English people or Americans talk, you will be amazed at their colloquial expressions. So, don't be more English than the English. Personally, I enjoy our version of broken English because when most Nigerians try to imitate oyibo in grammar and accent, it feels like a punch to the gut....so awkward and embarrassing to say the least. Shey you understand, abi? // |
whysquare4real: Please fellow Nairalander, I want to know if a car from Cotonou with a mileage of up to 170,000 km a good buy? A friend wanted to get a car for me worth 650 and he told me d mileage is up to 170,000 and he said d engine is superb. Please advice me on d issue or u may drop ur comment in my inbox ;whysquare4real@gmail.com. Please ur urgent advice is needed so I won't buy a 'problem' car. Thanks. Is it in 170,000Km or 170,000miles? What year is the car? Assuming it is 10 years...that is about 17K/year average drive. Not bad. Find out where it was shipped from? Take a trusted mechanic for full inspection. Any visible wears and tears? There are too many things you should be looking out for...so it becomes sort of a gamble. Your major concerns should be engine and transmission. Anything else is manageable. |
There are 2 categories of born again ladies: 1. The ones praying for husband because their biological time don dey elapse. 2. The ones frustrated already and are kill-joys. Category 1 will throw away her bible as soon as prospective Category 2 will never throw away her bible b/c she knows there is no way on earth you intend to put a ring on it. The only solace in their lives are their bibles. As they say, " condition na im make crayfish bend". After all, person wey no get problem no dey go babalawo house. If any group will make heaven, I will bet on Category 2. |
zeelo2014: Why were the candidates mocking Obiano? Ifeanyi even took Obiano's papers./ Because they know that Obiano is like a little boy sent on an errand. He is saying exactly what Obi told him to say. Is there a link to the video? // |
/ Noted. Waiting for GEJ and cohort to hit the classrooms. // |
/ What a coward! My only surprise on this issue is how the OP (even though anonymous) willingly refused to mention the company involved. How low has Nigeria gotten that the ones crying for equity cannot even have the guts to call a spade a spade? I believe the OP is worse than the managers he is castigating. Bad things thrive when good people keep quiet. The company will not change the practice if they remain anonymous. And more people will continue to fall victims to the same problem. And we are quick to blame GEJ. mtchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhew! // |
/ Every Nigerian migrant goes through that. I see it as either family members are ignorant or inherently wicked. Best line of action is call Nigeria with calling cards and make sure they don't have your number for the first 3 years. Else, they will give you hypertension. As a matter of fact, the requests are never ending. What they ask are high end luxury items that the ones they are asking may not even have such as ipad, BB, iphone, etc. Factor in how many people requesting these items from one person. Even if the person na Dangote or Zuckerberg. // |
/ This proves me right in my assertions... Contrary to the perceptions, Cosmas Maduka (Coscharis) is never a genuine businessman After listening to his version of the oil subsidy story about Ifeanyi Uba on Channel Tv, I knew immediately that he is a scam artist on a prowl. // |
/ Why buy a car when you can rent one? Variety is the spice but no ring on it. // |
booqee: But seriously i can't believe the word of.emanu has been censored by seun and changed to yoruba! ee good sha./ Seun is a He hates Yoruba people // |
steffans: Am sure u are not married!!!!/ OP didn't say that she is married // |
/ It is a matter of semantics. As a leader, GEJ ought to choose his words wisely. He needs to sound more diplomatic than blunt... Some call it political correctness. Choice of words has more impact than most people would give credit to it. Even the bible acknowledges the power of the tongue. This is where handlers eg. Abati (unless just a paper tiger) need to step in to guide GEJ instead of resorting to damage control. In this day and age when even handshakes, gait and body language are used as power tussle in the global arena, he should refine himself and stay off the ogogoro juice. / |
/ And someone would want to drink this because? // |
/ A good leader should inspire his/her team. When the president of a country talks with air of hopelessness around him, the whole country is doomed. The essence of campaign during elections is to inform the people that the aspirants understand the problems and will proffer solutions if elected. One should not go for a job interview, get the job and turn around to tell the employers that he/she cannot perform magic in discharging the basic responsibilities of the job. To even voice it out is a corporate abomination. Nigerians are too dormant that any ogogoro man can walk over them with impunity. I wish things get harder for Nigerians. Perhaps that may jolt them from the slumber they are currently enjoying. Apparently, they can only learn the way. // |
younggirl: Pls i need help here! I have been on birth control implant(implanon) for five months and its been crazy for me. Headaches, fever, bloatedness, blurred vision and general body weakness. I have also not seen af for over four months now and I've added weight seriously. I am sooo fed up of this implant and want it off. But some friends said its normal./ THEN STOP F.UCKING!!! // |
/ You probably have 3 options in mind already. Talk to your mechanic about the options you have and their concerns on each. Go to your nearest auto parts market and find out the availability of parts of the ones in mind. Consider the terrain you will be navigating eg. FCT vs. Lagos vs. rural area. Then narrow it down to one that best fits all these challenges. Bingo! If you go to mechanic shops, you will notice that there are vehicles that look abandoned by their owners. This could be due to lack of technical know-how, replacement parts, fund, etc. Beware of all these pitfalls. // |
/ I saw a Nollywood movie about this...scary // |
/ Ikenna: You better go see your pastor immediately after sitting in those cars. I can only imagine how much curse the cars were putting on your head thinking you wanted to buy them. Not on Nigeria roads! They cried. // |
// I don't blame Tinubu at all. I blame the Lagosians that bend over happily and asked to be rimmed by Tinubu. One man against millions and he is winning. Who is the fool here? // |
/ People need to understand "ra.pe" in the West. If a lady consents and you two are going at it. And in the middle of it, she said STOP when you are almost there. And you continue to hump. If she raises hell...Bros! Na ra.pe o! I could be wrong, but I heard that each extra hump is 1 year. So 10 pumps after "STOP" = 10 years in jail ![]() It does not have to involve "Royal Rumble" or "Wrestlemania" as in Nigeria. If in doubt, load up on lotion! // |
ajasa4link: This one collect less than 700k and he dey use am shoot video and thank people, instead of sitting down and spend the money wisely....smh...... am sure the money no go remain pass 300k now sef . .../ Nawa for you o! So after watching the OP and his friends, you believe the money still remain? / @ OP: Good video by the way /// |
/ From frying pan to fire! Nobody is talking about service delivery...just money! money!! money!!! // |
/ Thank God...GEJ wore socks // |
/ Babalawo on my mind.... OR .... // |
/ Who is to blame here? The airline operators OR the i.diots still entering plane? // |
/ The ground is set. The next target will be your life. It is more serious than you think. No prayers needed here. Be preemptive! Let me guess...Is she from Imo State? // |
Judolisco: Avent seen it killing anybody its our food lets appreciate it// How do you know it hasn't killed anyone? We don't even know what kills people in Nigeria especially as there are uncles in the village to blame for almost every ailment. The ones that I am worried about are the ones that carry it about on their head. Sometimes they pour the source in their mouth and spray it on the suya. Aboki wey probably never see chewing stick for the last 6 months. Remember: E too sweet na im dey kill pass. // |
Acidosis:LOL...LOL...LOL |
/ Please tell Clara not to worry. Clara...don't lock the kitchen door...I will tap 3 times around 12 midnight. We will get the party started from where Gov. Chime left it. ![]() // |
Afam4eva: The way i see it, Obiano doesn't have a plan for Anambra. he just wants to get in and then try his luck. It can be seen in the way he answers question using evading tactics by only giving bland answers to questions. I inferred this when he answered questions on Twitter yesterday. As far as this debate goes judging from what i'm reading here, i think Ngige nicked it. But we know debates don't win elections in Nigeria as majority of the electorate are not even aware that a debate took place. What will determine the winner of this election is their popularity and that of their party. Ndi Anambra, unu jiri ire unu guo eze unuAfam: I think you missed the point. Willie Obiano never wanted to be the governor. He was drafted by Gov. Obi for some reasons best known to them. How do you expect him to have some plans when he never planned to be in the position anyway? We know those that want the seat---Ngige, Ubah, Uba, Soludo, Obaze, Nwoye, Ukachukwu and other charlatans. When I think of Obi and Obiano, it reminds me of Obj and Yar'Adua. The semblance in the character of the predecessors and the ignorance of the successors is very glaring in both the federal and gubernatorial elections. Obiano just wants to wing it to the government house. That is wobble and shuffle to the coveted position with the fund donations (bribery ) prowess of Gov.ObiNgige's greatest undoing is running under the banner of APC which Igbo people are viewing with suspicion considering the top echelons of the party who are mostly northerners, muslim or Yoruba. Had it been that Ngige is running under LP or PDP or even freaking PMP, he will cruise straight to victory. |
