@revolution,
There's no point in dragging this issue.
Tell me one thing OBJ has done to improve the welfare of an average man on the street?

Talking about assassination, this has been the roots of the Nigerian Politics since the 60's
Murtala Muhammed was assasinated. Maybe IBB was the trigger-man according to ur theory.
IBB employed able-bodied men, gave 'em guns and trained em to shoot and unleash terror on Nigerian populace.

I did not contradict maself at all.
I was just trying to make u see how filthy the so much celebrated EFCC organisation is.
Its just a ploy to ward off OBJ's political enemies and stuffs.
Politics › Re: What Do You Think Of Malam Nuhu Ribadu? by Jackal(m): 7:19pm On Aug 12, 2006
@diddy,

Save your breath, mate.
High IQ is a rare gift and u should not expect everyone on a public forum to possess it.
Some people don't think before opening their mouths and they come to a public forum to spew balderdash.
I wonder who's been shallow-minded with his comments.
A kid of 5 knows RIBADU is a robot and he is being controlled by OBJ.
I still don't see anything remarkable about that henchman called Ribadu. He is simply an arse-kisser.
Chris Uba-a self acclaimed Godfather is walking free on the streets despite his devilish antics and Ribadu's men are busy harrassing innocent citizens and pressure groups that challenge OBJ's nasty ambitions.

He is being used as a tool/device to haunt OBJ's political enemies.
If u challenge OBJ publicly tomorrow be certain EFCC miscreants will come knocking on your door.
EFCC are thugs themselves and i still don't know why some peopz are celebrating those marauders.
How has this establishment ease the pains of the average man on the street.
We were told they recovered billions of Naira from corrupt public officers but where are these funds?
I refuse to be fooled by The Notorious PIG(OBJ) and his antics.

@krazysage,

We don't get your point.
How has illiteracy, voodoo, ethnic wars and backward politics killed innocent citizens in the west?
Whatz the correlation here?
We are talking about misguided moslems causing chaos and anarchy in the UK and US and you are talking about voodoo in Africa?
U can do better than this cheap analogy.

These buncha terrorists should go back to Iraq and Afghanistan and fight.
They r simply cowards because they hide bombs in bags and rucksacks and appear as ordinary citizen and then they unleash terror unsuspectingly.
How weak is that? How can these devious methods change the way George Bush/Tony Blair feel about the middle-east?
Lets call a spade a spade------These buncha islamic brothers are twisted and mis-guided.
I still don't understand why some people will kill thousands because they want to sleep with 12 Virgins in the after life.
Its simply ill and sordid. Eeeeeewwwwwwwwww embarassed

BTW, what happens to 'em female terrorists in the after life?
Do they get to sleep with 12 Virgin brothers as well? grin
Bunch of gloomy lunatics.

I can show u his dispirited pictures if u promise not to show it to any other Nairaland member.
He def'ly ate more than he cld chew so he got axed. grin

Politics › Re: What Do You Think Of Malam Nuhu Ribadu? by Jackal(m): 12:26pm On Aug 12, 2006
Ribadu is being used as a weapon by OBJ.
Lets see what becomes of him after this regime.

Chukwumerije was more effective than Ribadu in IBB's regime.
Where's he today?
Politics › Re: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by Jackal(m): 12:16pm On Aug 12, 2006
@revolution,

I didnt benefit jack from IBB's regime neither is he paying me whatsoever.
Tell me any of the ex-Presidents that did better than IBB and i will gladly give u my left arm.
IBB's efforts were frustrated because people like u did not appreciate these programmes.
The purpose of SAP and MAMSER were defeated as a result of people's doubts.
I can remember very well that a dollar never got above 22 Naira in IBB's regime.
Can u tell us the exchange rate today?

How can u utter such a blasphemy that IBB introduced corruption, crime and lawlessness in Nigeria?
Crime has always been in Nigeria since her independence. Armed robbery became popular after the 1966 civil war when some miscreants who had possession of arms realised they can actually make money by breaking into houses and threatening the occupants.
Notorious armed robbers like OYENUSI existed even before IBB came into power so don't misinform the public.

Drug-pushing also came into lime-light way back before IBB's regime.
Buhari and Idiagbon made 'caine pushers face firing squad and corruption have always existed late in the 60s.
Election rigging, Political assassinations, ITT embezzlement and so on and forth all happened before IBB came to power.
Its misleading when u say IBB started all these vices when we all know its not so.

U even have the guts to criticise Marwa's approach to fight crime in Lagos when u should have appreciated him or better still, tape it shut.
As long as the job is done i don't really care what method/approach he employed to combat crime in Lagos State.
Marwa had soldiers on the streets because he does not trust the so-called cops to fight crimes and vices.
90% Lagosians don't even RESPECT or have faith in the cops. Are they not the same monsters who kill innocent bus-drivers because of 20 Naira?
U expect a straight-thinking MILAD to use criminals to fight crime? U need to do some critical thinking and serious soul-searching.
Marwa used soldiers and it paid off. I don't care if it conformed to the methods of the developed world or not.
Other States in Nigeria wldn't have copied the "Operation Sweep" outfit if it didn't work in Lagos State.

Buhari/Idiagbon used soldiers in their time to enforce WAI(War Against Indiscipline)
Soldiers and Military Police visited ministries to whip late-comers and teachers in schools and it worked.
The level of indiscipline was so high that many teachers cld not even recite the national anthem and pledge.
U must understand u need sheer force sometimes to instil discipline in the hearts of Nigerians.
It was unacceptable but there were changes. Nigerians queued up at bus-stops and banks and the society was far better than what we have today.
We were also reminded to clean out surroundings every last saturday of the month by the FG-it shows the gross level of the indiscipline.

@scribe,
I won't be deceived by your so-called EFCC.
How has EFCC affected the common man on the street? Has EFCC provided food on the table of the masses?
EFCC is just OBJ's instrument to fight his political enemies and blackmail all and sundry.
I would have supported OBJ for a life president if he had solved the issue of electricity alone in the country in his 8 years tenure.
50% of people's problems would have been solved if the issue of NEPA was the only project OBJ really addressed.
He set up some bunch of idiots to fight and cage his political opponents in the name of fighting fraud.
What a schmuk?
Until EFCC arrest big guns like IBB, Abdusalam and Akhigbe they will continue to be like some bunch of puppets controlled by the notorious PIG(OBJ).
EFCC vermins go on about arresting and terrorising Nigerian youths in the cybercafes like goddang terrorists.
Has OBJ provided employments where these youths can channel their resources positively? Hell Nah.
Why hasn't the same EFCC arrested OBJ's children buying houses everywhere in USA and UK?
EFCC ma ass. I hope they bleeping rot and burn in HELL.
Crime › Re: Aircraft Terror Plot Disrupted by Jackal(m): 8:46pm On Aug 11, 2006
@Zebudaya,

U have spoken and made a valid point.

These bunch of misguided moslems are just causing chaos and anarchy in the name of terrorising the west.
Most of them don't even know the cause they are fighting.
They r being promised 21 virgins and a store of alcohol in the after life and they  love it that way.
The funniest thang is they do these things and put God's name into it.
I watched sleeper cell and i realised how easy it is to convert these young dudes into maniacs.
I have read books and i understand the greatest JIHAD is one's heart and not bombin airplanes and killing innocent citizens.
Islamic Clerics should do more than they are doing and let the followers know it is very bad to fight JIHAD in this manner.
The world is sick and tired of these bunch of miscreants who called themselves JIHAD fighters.
An Islamic Cleric is being interviewed on skynews now and he is saying he cannot condemn the terrorists for what they are doing.
How grotesque does that sound?
Politics › Re: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by Jackal(m): 8:36pm On Aug 11, 2006
I disagree with u.

Marwa and IBB should be voted in.
A lot of people criticise IBB but i am yet to see any of the ex-Presidents that has done better than him.
Technically, IBB surrounded his government with the most brilliant people in Nigeria.
Brilliant self-reliant programmes were set-up but moaning Nigerians frustrated his efforts and they all condemned his government and ideas.

Marwa is anutha young gun who i believe will deliver the goods.
The way he was able to transform Lagos State into a safe haven with his popular Operation Sweep squad was awesome.
Other states started copying the idea which i believe was an achievement.

OBJ is the worst President to have ever ruled Nigeria.
He is one sonofabitch that should be probed immediately he leaves his office.
The fat slob really contributed in making loads of Nigerians poor with his stupid policies and eye-service.
He was boasting in an interview that he set up EFCC.
How does EFCC affect the common man on the street.
How has EFCC brought food to the table of the suffering masses.
I read it somewhere his annual salary stands at 1.5 million naira grin grin grin
It will sound more real if that was quoted as his daily income.

@ Dearie,

Don't get it twisted.
British University is ur best bet especially if u consider working while in school.

U are only allowed to work only on ur campus if u are studying in America and these jobs dont come by easily cos a lot of international students like u are all competing for the few jobs available.

In UK, u can work anywhere u want and u can even take semesters off to get full-time jobs for support.
U cannot take any semster off in yankee as a student. Its either u go back to ur country of origin or study.
Life is so difficult as a student out there.
I have been there before and it wasn't easy at all.
Sports › Re: Mikel's First Blues Appearance! by Jackal(m): 4:47pm On Aug 10, 2006
Mikel Obi had an outstanding performance.
He should displace Essien and even Frank Lampard.
His precise passes and unbelievable awareness and vision is his strength.
The lad is just too matured for his age and this is why i prefer him to 1000 Okochas waxed together.
There's seriousness in his game play and he hardly loses concentration when he plays which is quite sensational especially for a player at his young age.
In fairness, i think Jose has found GOLD in Mikel Obi.

He always delivers when it matters most.

Even when Henry developed cold-feet in front of goal Etoo was composed and scored a delightful goal at the last UCL Finals.

Sports › Re: Ronaldinho Or Okocha: Who Is More Skillful? by Jackal(m): 10:57am On Aug 10, 2006
@ Rikkyjen.

U are absolutely spot-on and i admire ur brilliant analysis.
I have pondered times without number why Nigerian players just seem to lose the momentum and fail to push things beyond the finish line.
Check this out--------------

Kanu was named the MVP at Atlanta 96. The same competition had Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Crespo, Roberto Ayala, Ortega, Nuno Gomes, Makelele, Pires, Vieira, Wiltord, Dida, Morientes and Mendieta.
Although, few peops might argue with me but i'm absolutely sure Kanu was miles better than the crop of players i mentioned as at Atlanta 96 but how/why did Kanu decline and the bulk of the above-named players went on to become superstars.

Anutha classic example was Nigeria 99.
Julius Agahowa and Pius Ikedia both had a very brilliant tournament which should have launched 'em to greater heights but where are they today?
The same competiton also had players like Ronaldinho, Cambiasso, Ashley Cole, Damien Duff, Robbie Keane, Diego Forlan, Rafael Marquez and Iker Casillas.
My question here is why do other players(European/South-American) use youth tournaments as a launch pad to boost their respective careers and Africans especially Nigerians just fade to black?
Is it the falsification of age factor or a curse?
Sports › Re: Gooners 3 Goals In The First Leg Of Uefa: by Jackal(m): 10:28am On Aug 10, 2006
I cannot believe u guys are still celebrating a victory over an unknown team like Dinamo Zagreb.
Gunners will always be gooners with their nasty exaggerations.

Man Utd won the Amsterdam tournament defeating clubs like Porto FC and Ajax and no one is celebrating.
I am yet to see any thread about Amsterdam tournament on Nairaland and yet the gooners wont let us breathe cos they defeated a team ranked 358 in Europe.

Don't get it twisted.
U cannot know the real strength of ur team playing clubs like Dinamo.
The real acid/litmus test comes when Arsenal faces tough clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham.

This is why u fail examinations.
The comparison is Mikel Obi of today and Okocha at 19
Okocha did not dribble Oliver Khan when he was 19 neither did he captain Super Eagles at 19.
Ronaldinho didn't learn any skills from Okocha when Okocha was 19.
Always digest threads carefully before u post.

@ Amodu,
U can't be too sure the Premiership title belongs to Chelski.
Chelsea's preparations has been woeful and Jose is aware of the mess.
Suddenly, there's panic in the whole team with Gallas going AWOL, Joe Cole's injury and the sales of Duff and Crespo.
How do u expect to keep his players happy by leaving most of his superstars on the bench?
Chelsea's title challenge looks weak and Chelsea might not win the league this season as Tottenham, Liverpool and Man Utd have strenghtened up.
Jose's eyes are too focused on the Champions League and its a bad sign.
I am a fan of Mikel Obi and he is the brightest Nigerian player in the world at the moment.
I wish him best of luck at Chelsea and i cant wait to see the young lad displacing Essien and even Joe Cole.

Akola is not missing.
I think he got arrested by 'em Immigration peopz and he is being caged at the deportation camp.
Close sources revealed a middle-age Nigerian was trying to buy some stuffs @ Harrods with a stolen credit card.
The dude's name is Akolawole and he hails from Ibadan. This facts suggest it might be Akola of Nairaland but its inconclusive.
All efforts to get his pics proved abortive as Met. Police won't let anyone near the criminal.
He might get deported to Banjui/Accra/Ibadan in the next few weeks. grin

The gay referee just wanted to make a name for himself by sending Rooney off.
I was so disappointed in the officiating it nearly made me puke.
Man Utd's 9 men still went on to pulverise Porto by 3 goals to 1.

Rooney's red card of yesterday was the most undeserved card in the history of football.
His eyes were on the ball thruout the incident but a visually-impaired wimp of a goddang ref thought otherwise.
