What is the essence of the crappy education you are trying to get, you should go to different universities and polytechnics, the standard of education is very poor.
I think these are the things ASUU is fighting for.
It's not all about going to school, it's going to school to get quality education not just going to school for whatever sake.
And the best way ASUU knows to "fight" for better education is by further worsening the quality of education with their incessant strikeshuh

When Trump became President, he said " He is putting America first" Maybe in his 2nd term he will begin to reason other countries like those in persecution in Africa. That's why he never went to war with any other country. He worked for Americans first. Little did he knew he will not be re-elected. Today Americans are clamouring for his return. Had it been he focused on war, maybe with North Korea, Iran, Syria etc, forgetting his home, his country first. Americans will forever hate him.

Bros in life, put your interest and that of your family first. I will not spend any dime I will use to keep on building up my self like a skyscraper on a lady. Bros in no distant time, you will run out of resources (though I pray heaven keeps opening doors of money to you) she will still leave you. Only those whom their money long keep funding their babe continuously. If all your resources are gone, where will you fall back to raise money to keep yourself at the top in the dating market.

As it stands now, if my relationship crash right now, it's a matter of 24hrs, I will be with a super beautiful new girlfriend, unless I decide to take a break. This is because I think of myself first. Should I exhaust my pocket meeting the demands of my girlfriend, my wardrobe suffers, my home is not updated with the latest gadgets, my face and physique detoriates, how will I meet up, if am served breakfast. grin grin

Before I spend on my girlfriend, I always make sure my needs are already settled then, I consider her...don't be afraid of losing her. If she leaves you because you fail to meet her needs, that's enough reason, for you to be happy, because she will still leave in the future.

Donald Trump said: " Whatever you do, think of your God, your family, your country"
He no mention babe o grin grin

Let's take a look at Donald Trump's life, he divorced his first wife, but he keeps investing in himself, became a billionaire and a president. When he was sworn in one of the hottest blondes was standing beside him as his wife.

Look at President Putin, divorced his wife, only relating with his daughters. Pursuing his dreams of making Russia dreaded among other nations.

Look at Aliko Dangote divorced his wife, and focused on his refineries and big projects.

Look at Bill Gates, divorced his wife and keep focusing on his Microsoft.

Look at Jeff Bezos, divorced his wife Scott, later bought Twitter and is now into Space. His wife remarried and just divorced her new husband two days ago. grin grin

Look at Romans Abrahamovic, divorced his wife and is building up steel companies and buying football clubs and investing.

Look at Kanye west, immediately he became a billionaire, he allowed Kim to go, Kim got another boyfriend and she don leave that one, looking for way to come back to Kanye West.

Look at Elon Musk, omo, he get like 3 ex wives.

Look at Mandela, his first wife left him

Look at Buhari, his first wife left him, today he is president, name any sitting governor whose wife fine pass Aisha Buhari. Even Buhari use his mouth tell you, woman belong in Kitchen and in the oza room grin grin

Look at Atiku, Atiku dey marry base on his interest, if he wants to run for Cameroun Presidential seat now, expect Atiku to marry a lady from that side. Also bear in mind that he don divorce his Igbo wife lawyer, that one was stubborn and Atiku allowed her to go.

Women dey serve big men breakfast talk more of little peasants like us.

Big men, and men destined to change the world, keep letting women go. You will always get a woman, far good in bed, far good in the kitchen, far good in keeping money, more prayful etc than your present partner. The only woman that is irreplaceable is your mum. Others can come and go.

Icardi latter tattooed Maxi Lopez's kids with Nara on his body, this didn't go down well with Lopez, but he kept his cool.

Last year Wanda Nara wanted to dump Icardi, Icardi focused on pleasing the babe, he signed off all his assets to her, made her his agent. While the likes of Messi and Neymar, na their papa be their agent. Icardi's career nose dived. His former coach a folllow Argentine is no longer at PSG, the new PSG coach, decided he is not in his plans. Today he is now playing in Turkey. While his Argentine mates Dybala, Di Maria, Messi are still in Europe playing in the top flight leagues.

They are fighting for the betterment of education in Nigeria. There's money to sort ASUU but FG has little interest in giving money to sort education.
I saw this online:
❗Yesterday I confirmed that African leaders are the richest in the world.❗
They arrived at UN in newyork each in a convoy of over 20 powerful vehicles hired from American car hire companies.
I was shocked to see European leaders arriving at UN for the UN General Assembly in small cars and some arriving as a group of European leaders in Coasters..
The Prime Minister of UK arrived in a small car with the Prime Minister of Norway while Prime Minister of Italy arrived in same small car with prime Minister of Luxembourg one of the wealthiest economies.
The Germany chancellor arrived in a Mercedes benz with Prime Minister of sweden and prime Minister of Denmark, and three of them sleeping at a budget hotel in Manhattan.
African leaders took over very expensive hotels in lower Manhattan which is the headquarters of the Wall Street and the most expensive area in Manhattan borough.
Each African leader is staying in a separate five star hotel with his delegation of politicians from his country.
The African leaders plus their entourage are buying expensive items in newyork.
Prime Minister of Israel is sleeping in a budget office far away in Queens borough of newyork while Dutch Prime Minister is in the same budget hotel with Prime Minister of Malta and President of Czech Republic which is a highly developed nation..The Prime Minister of Slovakia is sleeping in Harlem in newyork in a budget office together with leaders from Jordan.
The most shocking part of it is that African leaders took over atleast 39 five star hotels in newyork, the same Africa leaders are engaging European leaders asking to help them to increase financial support to respective African nations.
I my self saw a Germany chancellor looking at African leaders arriving in big motorcades in total disbelief..he was shocked but still he went ahead to meet them. African leaders in New York are in pomp and proving how rich they are..
It was estimated that the presidential entourage of over 100 delegates from Nigeria to the present UN general Assembly was the highest in the history of the assembly it self. It was also estimated that each delegate will cost the government not less than 10 million naira in estacodes and other allowances. At this critical time of economic hardship, spending billions of naira to take more than 100 delegates to an assembly where the president is the only relevant person speaks volumes to the ineptitude of the government. It is such a shame that the same government with such embezzlement audacity continues to tell Nigerians that there is no money to fund education.
Corruption in government does not justify corruption in the academe!

How has the university managers and ASUU accounted for the monies they have been generating. I included ASUU because they are parts and parcel of the university management.

I'm not trying to absolve government of blames but we need to tell ourselves the truth at all times if we must solve our problems
Education › Re: UNICAL Has Lost 11 Professors Not 21 Within 7 Months - ASUU Chair by Jman06(m): 5:26am On Sep 28, 2022
Let me digress a bit but still on the same issue

Talking about funding of our universities, something is not just adding up for me o, and that is; what has TETFUND been doing since its creationhuh

I know about some beautiful edifices being erected in many Nigerian universities by TETFUND from the time the ASUU-FG agreement of 2009 was signed till date. I also know some handful of lecturers that have been sponsored abroad for postgraduate studies by TETFUND..

Yet, ASUU keeps complaining of FG not injecting 1.3 trillion naira into the system. I'm sure that if proper checks are done, it would be revealed that more than 1.3 trillion naira has been spent by FG since that agreement was signed. I'll like someone to help me reconcile the difference between TETFUND and ASUU'S demand for 1.3trillion naira.

Again, about laboratory equipment and sundries in our universities, why can't TETFUND also channel some of her spending in that direction? If beautiful structures can be built, why can't lab equipment be procured using same channel? Or, is it a case of people not being able to sit down and prioritize their expenditures?

I'm asking all these because we need to be sure what ASUU is really up to? Like if what they want is pay raise, why not go straight to the point instead of lumping up issues and making everything appear complex?

Read the link below and see the argument FG is making:

Go kee yourself if you don't like our practice. Check the current doctors today in UK,all blacks and many are Nigerians. It's a Nigerian doc in UK that is treating your Mr president if you don't know.

Beecham is an antibiotic and so what? Have u make research about other content in it?
If u missed it, won't u look alternative to serve yourself? The gov.knows, the health professionals knows Beecham Is being abused,so what?
A pharmacist who deals with drugs knows nothing about it's functions in anatomical structures of the body. When did pharmacy dig into medicine? Do we spend same years studying for nothing? Same pharmacist that will give you same drugs at the counter to treat fever, what do they know about your body? It's when there's complications they now refer you to a doc.
Beecham is an antibiotic drugs that prevents infections,at the same time when taken in same hours reduce the sperm. Don't forget sperm are cells with DNA same with bacterias. If Beecham can attack bacterial cells and reduced it's potency, then it can attack sperm cells to some extent. I've just make a thousand point here. I Hope this is clear. Medicine is not pharmacy. Dig well! Ladies avoid unprotected sex, you're at high risk because you're always recieving.
My gosh! Are you really a doctorhuh So much display of ignorance in one post!

From your post, I'm assuming you endorse the indiscriminate use of ampiclox in Nigeria. Have you ever heard about antibiotics resistance? That's a major healthcare challenge we're currently battling in Nigeria. We continue spending money importing them from India and China only to render them useless and ineffective as different microorganisms develope resistance to them.

We don't manufacture these antibiotics yet we cannot properly use the ones we import. Only continually creating microbial disease burdens for ourselves while enriching other countries by being major buyers of these antibiotics.

In a country where there's no antibiotics stewardship, people are bound to start misusing antibiotics however it suits them.

Any lawyer that grants ASUU stay of execution on that NICN decision should be seen as an enemy of the Nigerian students. It'll take a very heartless lawyer to grant such request given the sound reasons by the learned lawyers of the NICN for the judgement.

We all know that the government of the day is bad, but ASUU is becoming too anti public education for a people that claim to be fighting for a better university system.

I'm sure the appeal court justices understand that it is not in the best interest of the nation for ASUU to continue in their egoistic contest with government... dismiss the godammn appeal and refer them back to the NICN.

Ben Carson, Albert Einstein, leonardo da Vinci, the list goes on. These are exceptionally smart people with very high intelligence Q. That performed woefully in their academics at the start of their career. Leonardo especially was never able to write the alphabet correctly!

And Ben Carson after all his failures in school and barely made it through medical college still became the first physician in the world to perform hemisphrectomy and a few other novel surgeries which till today, cannot be performed in any African hospitals! (Except South Africa)
.
Your percentile guess is wrong. One study found that only 10% of college failures are not academically bright. The study concluded that the figure could be lower (Google the references pls)
.
The fact that you do not know that geniuses suffer in the Nigerian Academic system says alot about your own I.Q. Just in case you are a lecturer or an aspiring one, walking around with this sort of orientation is dangerous for you and the students in your care. Please unlearn and relearn.
You're very correct my brother. Rote learning is what's practiced in the Nigerian system and any student who tries to deviate from that mode to real learning is usually caught in the web of average. The reason is because it is difficult to be at the same pace with the Nigerian rote learning pattern if one tries to deviate.
Education › Re: Nasarawa State University Pulls Out Of ASUU Strike by Jman06(m): 11:06pm On Sep 23, 2022
If I were ASUU NEC members, I would have suspended this strike in the interest of the students knowing fully well that Buhari is not contesting anything in the next general election and he doesn't seem to care if APC loses the next election or not.

Now that the NICN has provided an opportunity for them to suspend this strike and still maintain some dignity, they should better not allow their ego or any lawyer deceive them into continuing the strike. The government of the day is ready to play dirty on this matter. If this strike is not suspended now, the FG is ready to drag the case in court for so long and already many state universities are pulling out. It'll be disgraceful for ASUU if the majority of her members pulls out leaving behind just a few individuals.

ASUU should take a bow and suspend the strike now that the ovasion is loudest while negotiation continues.

If we're to tell ourselves the truth, most Nigerian lecturers don't teach anything to students. Only a few Godly ones care about passing knowledge across to students and go extra miles to at least try.

The rest just come to class to talk to themselves and drop materials for students to go and cram. There were courses I took as an undergraduate that I never understood anything in class. What I did was go to YouTube and learn from American or Indian lecturers before I could understand those concepts.

So, even while we advocate for better funding of our universities and remuneration of the lecturers, let it also be known that the majority of the lecturers are not worth the pay they demand in terms of knowledge impartation to students. Not really that they're not knowledgeable enough but greed and outright wickedness made them not to care about passing on knowledge to students, especially those of them that lack believe in the God factor or goodness of heart.
