I am big down there o but this one is definitely out of it. Na sickness be this abeg. |
BlackDBagba:In those days there was much more bonding between the man's and woman's families so issues were better resolved. |
Considering the high rate of divorce which has become so rampant in mondern day marriages, i think that we should go back to the old system of marriage where parents recommended spouses for their children based on their knowledge of the family history of the man/lady whom they want to match with their children. There's a popular igbo saying that what an elder sees while sitting, a child can not see even while standing on an iroko tree. Considering how successful marriages were in those days, i think that system worked better. Nowadays, people get married on frivolous reasons and if you ask them, they say it is 'love'. Which yeye love?. Because you saw a girl and got attracted to her nyash and boobs, or you saw a guy and because he's tall,dark/fair and handsome, you think you are in love? Nonsense! The reason why marriages fail these is that people marry out of infatuation which they call love, and before you know it, the infatuation clears from their eyes and they start looking out for the next person. |
Op, i'll advise you to try and pretend like you are no longer interested in the guy for sometime. That is, stop giving him too much attention. Give him a long space. It will make him feel like you have some other BETTER guys on your trail and trust me, that will awaken the spirit of competition in him{ but please don't flaunt any guy in his presence oo, just let the space you created torment his emotion}. If he truly loves you, he will desparately come for you, if not then he never really wanted you ab initio, and in that case i'll advise that you move on for a broken courtship is better than a broken marriage. Some of you ladies don't know how to keep guys on their toes craving for you, You think it's by sleeping with him and making yourself available all the time. |
All these kids typing jargons here should pray they don't get married to an abusive wife and have the kind of experience this man had with his ex. Some ladies here are even typing that he should have been silent while the ex goes about tarnishing his image. You guys have only displayed your lack of the ability to make unbiased judgements. |
mannyiyke:Never mind that guy! The richest man in my town is a dentist richer than his medical colleagues, though practising in the US. If not that Nigeria is cursed with underdevelopment, coupled with the domineering attitude of the medical docs, dentists would have been far better off in Nigeria. That is why i think the dentists should fight for and have their own separate regulatory council and not being attached to the medical guys. |
babake79:I pity those that would fall for your lies. How many ladies have successfully wooed a guy and the relationship blossomed thereafter ![]() |
No! Nigeria is not a country to be proud of. It's a jungle! |
SPEEDEPITOME:Guys easily dump the ones they chased let alone the one that did the chasing herself. |
SPEEDEPITOME:I'll honestly advise you not to try making the first move on a guy next time. Never mind all these guys encouraging you to. It doesn't work that way! Guys are wired to go for the chase while ladies are to make all the 'shakara'. That's the normal natural arrangement. If you did biology in sec school, you would have noticed that in genetic crossing females are represented with a straight symbol while males are represented with a bent symbol pointing towards the female's direction. If you want to hold your head high in the relationship, let the guys chase you not the other way. |
But why are Nigerian medical doctors so insecured that they have to tell lies to the gullible public in order to make other medical/health professionals appear less important FCOL, the job description of all the medical and health professionals are clearly define world over. Be good at what you do and let others also thrive in theirs. If they are not lying that the dentists write a different standard of MBBS exams, they are lying that the Pharmacists want to start awarding Doctor of pharmacy because they want to bear the 'Dr' title. Spreading lies here and there! |
crystalclear93:This is how some of you create monsters out of men and when the man becomes that violent and abusive men you crave, you start complaining. That's why sometimes i don't pity women who are battered by their husbands. |
And later some people will be asking why nigeria is not developing. How can we progress when we prioritize frivolities ![]() |
tellmanny:Don't mind that guy. He's just exposing his ignorance for the whole world to see. |
brownhawk:Funny you! But she has got enough supply of provision... |
brownhawk:Lol...Never mind bro |
Our argument is on whether dental students have a soft landing in the 2nb than their medical colleagues, and i am telling you A RESOUNDING NO
My bro, we don't argue on what is verifiable, forget ,what they tell you is different from what happens at the board meeting before the results are published, this is not issue of pharmacy or health sciences, Nsukka is not far from Enugu, go and see things by yourself. This is social media, so won't want to talk much. Pls ask your self why most students that go for remarking end up passing the same course they were said to have failed. But note that they won't want you to go for it, beacaus of the threats associated with it and how they will purposely delay it to frustrate you for a year or more. We have been previlege to observe the board meeting not once or twice, so this is not hear say or ideal thing but the reality. Occasionally the provost has an input if there are protest or squabbles during the board meeting |
DrP2000:Bro, the pass mark for both medical and dental students is 50% in UNN and other schools. I am typing not based on hearsays but on what i know. Generally, pass mark for all medical and health science courses is 50%. I'm in Pharmacy school so I know what i am typing! |
sgtponzihater:You displayed total ignorance by posting the above comment. The standard of the MB exam is same for both medical and dental students. Besides, dental students still write a separate professional exam called second BDS aside the MBBS. Those guys do more than the MBBS guys! |
murphyibiam15:I wld rather not disclose her name here for security reasons. |
doctorgyna:Thank you bro! |
Nathan308:This is because most people these days marry for frivolous reasons. I think marriage was much better and lasted longer in the good old days when parents recommended partners for their children. There was much more bonding between the bride and groom families that helped to strenghten the union. Nowadays a man would just pick a lady from no where and marry in the name of so called 'love' and the next day the temporal feeling called 'love' would cease and divorce becomes the escape route. |
Private universities in Nigeria are meant for those that can't pass JAMB but have the cash. They depend mostly on part time lecturers from public universities who render part time services to them. I'll rather send my children abroad to study instead of wasting my money in Nigerian private universities. My opinion. |
E jus dey sweet me for belle because she went through my tutelage. So so happy for her! |
A big congrats to my younger sis for being among the successful few that aced the exam. I'm proud of you dear! |
If the person behind this onila hand isn't just a troll, then she/he must be a drug addict. |
Where is that bros that wanted to sponsor his gf to university Come and read the kind of comment that will flood your thread when that gf of yours will dump your asz. |
No. It is not One needs to secure one's future before marriage. |
Op, i'll advise you to follow your heart. But i think it is not wise for a guy to spend his money sponsoring a girlfriend in school, because she might just end up 'falling in love' with another guy in school and dumping your ass, and when she does, all these people here advising you to sponsor her in school will be the first to call you a cry baby when you complain. If i were you, i will date that colleague of yours to see if we are compartible. If the compartibility is there, mehn i'll go for her o. The other lady can always find someone else. |
What we call love most times is just a trick played on us by our minds when we are attracted to someone. It is too weak to sustain a life long relationship like marriage, because those qualities we consider attractive can be found in many other people, and such qualities can be lost with time. True love exists only among blood relatives like parents and their children or among siblings. So i think it is wiser for anybody to choose a secured future over the so called love. |
As for me, i love the feminists! Feminists are those ladies who can hold their own and not accept to be a slave to any man. I honestly admire that quality in a lady provided she is not generally disrespectful and wicked. It is a turn off for a lady to be a man's puppet and live at his mercy. A big turn off! |
This article is grossly inaccurate. First let me start by telling you that beauty is in the eyes beholder. That's because as a guy what is beautiful for you might not be beautiful for me.. and besides when you say beautiful or ugly do you mean just the face.. Secondly the girls whom you call ugly now are the ones that mostly have the most handsome guys around go and check you will agree. This perhaps is due to the fact that guys mostly think all the beautiful girls have a guy already and settle for the so called ugly ones. I can keep writing lots on this issue.. but i will just stop here
Forget the epistles. An ugly lady is an ugly lady and we know when we see one. |
