PureNigerDeltan:Illiterate spotted! Mercury is a heavy metal which is poisonous to humans! Cancer is now rampant in this country and can be linked to these heavy metals. People like you who're not knowledgeable should stop commenting on matters you're clearly ignorant about. This is a major problem in this country! We sometimes allow uninformed people in a particular field to head positions of authority that relate to fields they know nothing about. |
KendoRide:I tell you. Evil pervades the length and breadth of this country. Alot of people are being killed untimely in this country especially in the healthcare sector. Some people are there in the open drug markets killing Nigerians with fake drugs while others are in different quack private hospitals sending people to early graves. When you hear that life expectancy in Nigeria is as low as 48years for men and 52years for women, these are the causes. Since the goverment appears not to be serious in regulating the health sector, I think Nigerians should rise to the occasion and employ jungle justice on these unscrupulous killers. |
Ibechris2:Products manufured outside the shores of the country pose greater risk than those manufactured in Nigeria. This is because the unscrupulous importers connive with their foreign manufacturers to compromise quality! They'll present the quality products to NAFDAC to gain registration only to go back to their foreign collaborators to produce entirely different thing. Talking about Colgate toothpaste, it's possible that quality was being compromised probably by adding dangerous additives when it was being manufactured outside the country. Now that it's manufactured in Nigeria, NAFDAC and other regulatory agencies can have easy access to their factory anytime any day. Under such scenario, quality will be much more guaranteed! Same is what they want to do with this crusader soap. Many of you don't know how these importers have succeeded in sending many Nigerians to their early graves. Some pharmaceutical importers are the worst. They go to India and China, import unwholesome drugs and continually kill Nigerians through that means. For example, paracetamol that is supposed to contain 500mg of the active ingredient would be made to contain only as little as 50mg and bulked up with cheaper expicient! Same with other drugs! Doctors will be treating while patients are dying! This is one of the reasons why goverment is working hard to close down own open drug markets and relocate the honest dealers to a coordinated wholesale center where regulation will be easier. But the dishonest dealers are fighting to frustrate government efforts. They will come and whip up pity from ignorant Nigerians like you while you blindly support them to frustrate the noble efforts of goverment, yet you go back and blame goverment for our failed healthcare system or blame politicians for seeking healthcare abroad! In a nutshell, healthcare products (including cosmetics) that directly or indirectly affect human lives are better manufactured locally! In the event that the country cannot afford to manufacture all, then very strict regulatory measures should be adopted to control import of such products. Some of you don't know that an enemy country or a country that does not like Nigerians can easily send containers of poisons as drugs or cosmetics to wipe off Nigerians! |
This is really heartbreaking! That woman should not be allowed to go unpunished! Human right groups in the country should rise in defense of this poor child. My heart is bleeding at the sight of this girl! I wish I could get hold of the devilish woman so I can mend her by myself! |
kkins25:Exactly! Don't mind Acidosis and his likes that like to make excuses for lazy women. |
Acidosis:And you think I have problems with changing my kids' diapers? I will wholeheartedly accept your suggestion too |
correctguy101:It has never been our culture for women to sit at home and lazy around while men work. Rather, women were involved in farming and worked in their husbands' farms. That was one of the reasons why men married many wives in those days. Women were also involved in trading. All these never stopped them from doing their wifely duties at home. So, while your likes encourage women to be lazy by not allowing them work, just do it because you want to. Don't attribute such laziness in women to our culture because no parts of our culture encourages women to be lazy and not work. |
Acidosis:I even prefer that both of us work and contribute equally to the family's finances and also share domestic chores. The problem is that most ladies would want to eat their cakes and still have it. They'll want the man to be the one shouldering the family's financial needs and at the same time help in domestic chores while they lazy about and gossip. They don't want marital responsibilities whilst they're the ones that enjoy the family most on the long run. |
Chetas81:Develop a country where my vote doesn't count You shouldn't expect patriotism from Nigerians after rigging elections and forcing yourselves on the people. It doesn't work that way!A country where people beg and bribe just so they can have a job is not worth any iota of patriotism. Go to the West and you see job boards established by goverment to ensure everybody is working and contributing to economic growth while in Nigeria, getting a job is a prayer point! Nigerian leaders are not yet ready to make the country workable. When they're ready they'll do the needful. For now, Nigerians who have the opportunity to japa should not hesitate to do so. |
correctguy101:Exactly! That 100k is more than enough for a month. I even have a feeling that the wife is saving part of the money. Some of those castigating the op and making excuses for his wife are those who believe that it is okay for a woman to just relax at home doing nothing while the man works his butt off and still come home to do domestic chores. This is the reason most men die early while their wives live longer to enjoy his wealth and their children. |
Acidosis:I would not disrespect nor think lowly of my partner if she carries out her domestic roles without complaining since that is her own contribution to the family. If she feels the domestic duties are too much for her, then she should enter the street with me and hustle for the family's finances, that way we can have enough funds to hire a maid. Don't compare commercial services to domestic chores because commercial laundry and catering services target large number of people while domestic ones are meant for just the man, his wife and a few kids (4 maximum in most modern homes). |
Acidosis:What I am sensing is that op's wife is a naturally lazy bum who is too bone lazy to do the simple work of taking care of the home front while her husband works to take care of the finances of the family. Forget the fatigue complaint! That's what all lazy wives do to cover up their laziness and make it look like the task of taking care of the house is killing them. I hope you're aware that in this same country, there are women who work and bring money to the family's table and still do their wifely duties at home? Yet despite not working and contributing to the family's finances, op's wife is too bone lazy to do her wifely duties at home? And you still blame the op? I have sisters who are married, working and carrying their families and still still do their wifely duties at home without complaining. In fact, one recently financed relocation of her family abroad (something the husband could only dream of). If my sisters and some other women out there are doing the above, no woman has any excuses for being a lazy bum and depending solely on their husbands! The above is the reason why I'll rather not marry than marry a lady I'll be the one carrying like some handicapped person, when my own sisters are the ones carrying their men. |
wirinet:That's the difference between rich men and average men. While rich men would manage at some point in order to attain higher financial status, average men would lavishly spend any money they come across and remain average! Meanwhile, you don't even know how op's family standard of living is. That 100k when used properly is enough to afford good for the family in a month. Besides, it is possible that op buys some of the food items in bulk and give his wife the 100k just for food ingredients. It is even possible that the wife is still saving from that 100k for herself instead of working and making her fair share of contribution to the family's finances like her mates are doing out there. |
wirinet:And how much is the partner and co-owner of the family bringing to the table ![]() Op gives 100k just for food o. Children' school fees and house rent is not included in that 100k! Besides, it appears you didn't read where op said he has a project at hand that will increase the family's finances when it matures or you just want to type jargon in order to be seen as woke by appealing to the selfish women in this forum? Op is doing more than enough for his family already with that 100k he gives for food. Some of you who are against the op are not even doing half of what he's doing for his family! |
Acidosis:You're posting things that appeal to their selfish nature while ignoring the well-being of the man. Why do some of you have the mindset that the needs of women matter more than those of men? Yet, you're still the type that clamor for gender equality! Now FYI, even if op hands over his paycheck to that wife of his, it won't stop her from being lazy and denying him sex! So, don't make it seem like her attitude has anything to do with the level of help or amount of money she's getting from op. |
Acidosis:Stop typing rubbish just to be seen as woke and have your post liked by the female gender. A wife who contributes nothing to the finances of her supposed home should at least compensate by cleaning up the house and cooking for her family. 100k is some people's two months salary! There are women who contribute equal amount of money to their families' finances, yet still cook, clean and fvck their husbands without complaints, so stop making senseless excuses for op's wife! |
onuman:And the new minister of health wants to finally put the Nigerian hospitals into their pockets with the proposed selective privatization of public hospitals in the country! Nigerians and even Tinubu don't understand the evil motives behind that proposed move! If that partial privatization is not stopped, what would happen is that the minister of health would simply share the various health institutions among his colleague doctors in NMA. They'll select the aspects that involve doctors' welfare (eg employment, salaries and allowances and free residency training) and make those responsibilities of federal government while the aspects that concern patients ( such as cost of healthcare, accessibility and patients' rights) will be determined by the doctors! You and I know how exorbitant private hospitals are in this country! Poor Nigerians would simply not afford healthcare anymore. They'll also take advantage of the selective privatization to perpetuate their vendetta against other healthcare professionals as they'll be the ones deciding the fates of these professionals. The result is that the majority of these professionals would leave the Nigerian healthcare system and travel abroad, consequently, quality of healthcare would nosedive while death rate would increase! I hope Nigerians understand the dangers ahead and nip that proposed selective privatization in buds before thoughtless Nigerian physicians in NMA and prof Pate would put the final nails on the coffins of our healthcare system! |
jmoore:Don't mind them! They're denying him just to save face. NMA that'll not encourage Nigerian doctors to study continually and improve on the several areas of medicine and surgery, instead they'll be busy dragging spaces and fighting unnecessarily with other healthcare professionals. |
LegallyBlunt:It is possible that guy is a medical doctor! When Nigerian medical doctors are caught up in malpractices like this, the first reaction of NMA is to deny them in a bid to save face. Many more Kekeres are operating freely in Nigeria and NMA and Nigerian ministry of health are complicit directly or indirectly. |
It is obvious that the judges of the election petition tribunal are carrying out an order from Abuja to pervert the course of justice against the labor party. If not, why have they been sacking LP candidates who were massively voted into office by the people? That is very unhealthy for our democracy! Lawyers should not allow themselves to be used as tools in the hands of those who want to truncate democracy in Nigeria. Some of them maybe passing these biased judgements against LP in a bid to spite perceived enemies or even on tribal bigotry! They don't know that their actions today could come back to hunt them in the nearest future. Typical Nigerians would rather shoot themselves in the foot thinking that they're spiting a tribe or group of people. That's how thoughtless many of you are! People expressed their anger with the Nigerian system by massively voting Labour party in the last election, only for some group of unscrupulous and thoughtless lawyers to have the wishes of the people quashed! Which way Nigeria!!! Who cursed this country abeg ??!!! |
I think I support the Minister's position on the matter. She's only after the truth! It appears she already extracted the truth from the students via a recorded conversation and is only warning them not to give a contradictory statement at the pannel. The VC clearly wants to set the man up and take her pound of flesh for an earlier misunderstanding with him. |
Reelmii:Men have the right to protect their interests in marriage! That includes protecting his interest in terms of having his own child! If that is what you call selfish, so be it. Why should a man compromise his innate desire to have his offsprings just because of a woman who would most likely not agree to marry him if he didn't have money Why? Having his own offsprings is the only thing a man gains from marriage for all the expectations and responsibilities he has to shoulder in the marriage, hence he must not compromise that for whatever reasons. PS: my advice to married men and future husbands is to always double-check any fertility test results before accepting that they're the ones with fertility problem! We've seen many cases where the wife connive with doctors to pin the blame for infertility on their husbands in order to shift attention and stop the man from chasing them away. |
Op, just know that in Nigeria, people only complain of corruption when they ain't the ones benefiting from it. Once they start benefiting from corruption, they'll make up one thousand one excuses to rationalize the menace. Some nurses in a certain public hospital where I work now see me as enemy for blocking the channel they use to siphon drugs and medical consumables from goverment. To them, I'm the over sabi Pharmacist who is trying to gain recognition from management, but to me I'm trying to protect the interests of poor patients who need those drugs at affordable rates to stay alive. I'm also trying to keep those nurses and other employees of the hospital on their jobs because those drugs and medical consumables help to generate funds to keep the hospital running as goverment will not hesitate to close down the hospital if revenue generation declines abysmally. But they'll not see the bigger picture of what I'm trying to do. That's how deep corruption has eaten into the fabrics of this country. Too bad! |
Kingosytex:You got my drift. That gender and their double standards ![]() |
Kingosytex:How dare you tell men to set standards for the kind of ladies they marry Don't you know that men are to sulk up all the rubbishes from women and not complain about it Or do you want us to be termed misogynists for expecting the best qualities from women? |
nairalanda1:He did |
legitnow1:You are typing jargon! Do ladies fvck just anybody who ask for sex from them No! They fvck only those that catch their fancies! What does that tell you Of course, that shows they also enjoy the sexing around. It is not like they were forced into doing it, so why would you punish the man for something that they both wanted and enjoyed. You no get talk walahi |
nairalanda1:And that's the option the man has decided to choose. He did the right thing by taking that option. He even waited for too long! |
nairalanda1:Do women marry for love ![]() I pity any man who allows himself to stick to a woman who can't bear him a child. Women of nowadays that would not touch a broke guy with a long spoon o. |

Men have no reason to see women as any other thing than a replaceable commodity. This is because even women see themselves as commodities to be acquired by the highest bidders. Women are not in any position to complain about men not treating them with love and emotions because NO WOMAN TRULY LOVES A MAN OUTSIDE WHAT HE IS CAPABLE OF PROVIDING FOR HER. We have all agreed that broke men do not deserve love nor sex from women, so why not also agree with us that a man with money has the right to change women the same way they change other commodities That is not too much to ask for from a gender that doesn't consider us beyond our bank accounts. |
Reelmii:Nonsense talk! After enduring childlessness for 14years, all the f00lish lady could do was start denying him sexz The man did the right thing by seeking satisfaction outside and having a child in the process. I'll not even wait that long before I start trying with other ladies should I find myself in same situation as the man God forbids. |
If not witchcraft, I don't understand why Nigerian governors and presidents would not want to be succeeded by their deputies. One would think that since the deputy governors understand the programs and projects of the governors, they're in a better position to succeed the governors but no, Nigerian governors would rather die than allow that. Too bad! |
