Following the ceding of Cross River wells to other states and retreiving of wells formerly claimed by Rivers state, Imo jumped from around 8th. Of course, this is subject to change as more wells are being located, ceded and receded across all states but you should get the point that igbo land is not a stranger to oil neither is it in negligible quantity.

Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa etc depend on offshore locations on imaginary lines in the sea claimed as Nigerian territory and subsequently ceded to those states. Imo has Nigeria's largest oil reserve and only a minute fraction of it has been explored.
If you want to prove your doubt, go down and visit the oil producing communities. Don't just drive through onicha, owerre or umuahia deceiving yourself say you no see oil.

Tertiary institutions are mini cities and mega business hubs. Over 500 direct employment as academic and non academic staff positions.
Over 5,000 indirect employment as cybercafe and transport operators, traders, restaurant owners, hawkers, passport guys, boutiques and tutorial center, bar and fast food joints, etc not forgetting loud, weed, video game, cards, lotto and betshop.

"Till death do us part" is the vow of marriage. A year is okay if he needs to.

It must be his decision to marry not because his mum said so. It will be a horrible experience if he gets any woman without being mentally prepared or emotionally attached to the union.

Having a son is a big deal too. Should be careful to get a motherly woman not the ones that by tomorrow will seek to exterminate him or divide the home for inheritance or rights of first sonship.
