It is a characteristic of polygamous homes. Without a will they can bicker, but you won't see 3 women and their faction of kids trying to tear one man apart.
It isn't EXCLUSIVE to polygamous family. It is a result of NO DEFINED WILL! Sometimes pampered (ajebo) kids, ostracisement, neglect and mainly greed also contributed. People are killing their parents/siblings all over the news. Greedy people na greedy people and are mainly lazy golddiggers. If all individuals were established and aware of the man's will, this nonsense wouldn't be happening. |
fixitbyjal:How are you able to make it? Salary or comission? Is it with ur own bike or company? How can somebody use their bike for the job? |
Smartguyboy:This is not exclusive to polygamous homes but a result of having no defined will. Even if na one bicycle you own, Get lawyers and write will now while you are physically fit. Update will every 6mths or when get new assets or offspring. Everybody's Will should clearly authorise agency or employing people for hospice and rehab in case of accident, stroke, disability, terminal illness or being in vegetative state like this man. Many people in today's world will abandon or even terminate their parent only to come drag property. |
traihit:any graduate or citizen complaining about new institutions is not exposed. Graduates should be dusting their certificates for vacancies that will need filling. Tertiary institutions are mini cities and mega business hubs. Over 500 direct employment as academic and non academic staff positions. Over 5,000 indirect employment as cybercafe and transport operators, traders, restaurant owners, hawkers, passport guys, boutiques and tutorial center, bar and fast food joints, etc not forgetting loud, weed, video game, cards, lotto and betshop. |
Adesuwag: lordprogress:e good to ask him o! |
akaahs: Jennyclay: SweetDipBenny:How to train a lady; 1)add solid investment into ur bizness. Cos these folks are suckers. 2)she gains admission 3)marry her. Complete traditional rites and collect government marriage license. 150k-400k depending. 4)she starts program. Pregnancy must be within first years. 5)man upgrades himself (by the end of her OND or year2, the man should start parttime course for himself if he was not a graduate already. He should have a masters, running doctorate before she become prof) 6)man finish his program b4 she do clearance & go service wt 2nd or 3rd pregnancy.. |
DouyeEbi:"Till death do us part" is the vow of marriage. A year is okay if he needs to. It must be his decision to marry not because his mum said so. It will be a horrible experience if he gets any woman without being mentally prepared or emotionally attached to the union. Having a son is a big deal too. Should be careful to get a motherly woman not the ones that by tomorrow will seek to exterminate him or divide the home for inheritance or rights of first sonship. etc etc |
Bruno3000:Abegi Okay, okay, oya use around you as case study and give us one sustainable option each. |
Bruno3000:Please help us with a business idea for 50k, 100k, 300k, 500k, 1m. |
This life is paradox. Most times, gerund and inuendo can not save you. i ghotara ife m meani? |
libertyfather:All this online stories sha. Anyway, as a man, i must say that cousin is senseless and wicked. E no even start with blind date or ordinary boyfriend/hookup. a whole 200k for person wey u neva propose. Even me go buy fake p.una go run the matter. Nonsense and akara ingredients. On the other hand, you see that one wey she say she's into gals too, no be today. RUN O! |
Pojomojo:And you suggest a coward's peace? Tueh! How much will it cost just to file a lawsuit and present your agreement as court injunction without going through trials and adjournments? 15k? 50k? 100k? 200k? Remember, the settlement will cover legal costs and reassurance of job security or a huge severance package. You guys just don't know the value of somene's dignity and integrity for posterity's sake. geraldo077:As simple as that |
beautyhd:I'll give you the best alternative. A lesson i learnt from a real life case here in nigeria. Since they are ready to settle out of court, no need to stress both parties with long trials. File the suit in court, renegotiate the terms SLIGHTLY if their offer seems low and let the agreed settlement be adopted and published as the court order. Presented to and pronounced by the honourable judge presiding. That's the only way to hold them by the b.allz, protect yourself from man's wickedness and the uncertainty of tomorrow. |

NAIRALAND MODS NAWA O!
WETIN CHRISTIANS DO UNA? |
Nairaland mods doing their best to push wildly concoted stories to front page to spite christianity. |
Nobody has given any reasonable answer. I also have similar need for a brother. My business can't keep sustaining him in this harsh economy. |
Lummoni: Lummoni:Send me a message to "Jonny Doen" on facebook. I am an igbo man, born and bred, i can assure you this is completely out of order traditionally and otherwise. Meanwhile, Abuja or lagos is far from any part of igbo land, almost like 2 different countries culturally and here we don't know about the so called berekete radio which is in Abuja. I've only read about them online. Can you get the name of the village, community and state? That's only way to get you reasonable help. |
Lummoni:keep that passport and other baby articles as evidence. Check my previous reply. While processing his papers, get an SA court judgement, get a lawyer and adopt it in a nigerian court. For the right amount, a midnight police raid and escort maybe all you need to get him from them. This is nigeria, ur biggest problem is money. Estimate the cost of transporting a person btw SA-Naija and triple that amount. The extra two is for lawyer, police, etc and "logistics". Don't forget to have more money for "unforeseen occurrences". IS UR AUNT THE CHURCH TYPE? HERE IN NIGERIA, Jehovah's witness and Assemblies of God i know could be of good help in this situation. At worst, u can enrol him in a mission boarding school away from them. Then he can travel when other arangements are done. |
Lummoni:I understand. No matter what, DON'T GET FIRED! Well, she has to make do with multiple 3-day visits as her job permits. 1)get a clean photograph to process a Nigerian then SA passport for him. 2)apply for visa 3)book travel tickets, driver/guide, security escort. 1)Always carry birth certificate & baby photos. 2)The boy has to be made compliant for smooth travel operation. Police, immigration etc dont play wt trafficking, they'll notice any discomfort. Meanwhile, try and get the neighbor to make more contacts for her incase the neighbor becomes indisposed. People not related to the family. Talk to Noone again about taking the boy because a secret known by more than one person has become a news broadcast. |
Blessedmercy8:Only God knows and can make someone "born again". You have no authority to pronounce who is what. Your statements reeks of zealotry, fanatism, extremism and "causing a murmuring" or being a "stumbling block" in the congregation. You are also displaying what Jesus condemned the pharisees of "burdening their followers" with irrelevances while failing to "lift a finger" to the law. By the way, as a very spiritual person, i'll like to ask you people, Who in your church watched blue film to know which styles they use? The style pictured in blue film is it not people doing what people previously did? So, how is it blue film that invented styles? Is missionary not also pictured in blue film, so that makes it a sin too? |
Blessedmercy8:The bible and quran both condemns uncleanness or animalistic acts and lack of self control. There is nothing unclean or animalistic about having sex with ur marriage partner except bestiality, anal, mouth, doggy, torture, necrophilia. scatology, canibalism etc. There is absolutely nothing wrong or sinful with sex in shower, couch, kitchen, standing, sitting, lying down, wheelbarrow, cowgirl and all forms of normal penetration. |
Lummoni no reply to any comment yet. I think the man knew he was sick and told the family who now schemed this. Was the man the only son of the family? Does she solely intend on caring for her son as a mother or to really snatch him away from them forever(their fear)? Can she locate them if asked to get to the address now? Does she have nigerian accomplices? (keep the neighbor aside) It'll cost much money! Whatever you decide, Never ask them for the child again or feel so pained when you see him. 1st strategy is keeping your cards to your chest. You can visit randomly for a weekend (with multiple entourage ofcourse) never stay the night in the village. Make them realise you're just coming for visit not to take the child. 2)Mark your territory. Acquaint with some neighbors, relatives school, church &villagers as their late brother's wife and the boy's mother. Reestablishing ur face to the child because if you be caught anywhere with a child that doesn't know you, you're finished. QUOTE ME 4 OptionB!!! |
Nnaa ehn! How come, as in, like, how na?! |
DeepThroater:I don't care what u and dat guy are fighting about. The cabal don't know the difference between Okojie, Okon, & Okoro even Oshiomole and forbids you all from aspiring to gain any relevant position in Nigeria as long as you are not fulani or ogun state. Know this and know peace. If by Niger Delta, you mean bini, itsekiri, urobo, ijaw, efik, ibibio etc then good for you. However, If you mean etche, egbema, ika, aniocha, ikwerre etc good for you too maybe you'll succeed in getting two igbo speaking countries or Y'all become igbo minorities in a republic surrounded by tribes that decided to hate igbo to death. Nobody force anybody nowadays. |

The fool that wrote this piece of hate doesn't care that his own south-south brethren nor even other parts of yorubaland are not let to contest. Hating on "the igbo agenda" as they tag Peter Obi's campaign for equity and justice is in vogue so every parasite must write an article. DO YOU HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVE FROM THE MARGINALISED REGIONS? IF NO, YOU ARE TALKING ABSOLUTE NONSENSE! WE ARE NO LONGER INTERESTED IN FULANI-OGUN ROTATIONING OF PRESIDENCY. I pity igbo people who allow y'all take them on this ride of tribal bigotry. OBI IS NO MESSIAH. He was never meant to be. He is the forebearer. Only one igbo man on the ballot is killing y'all like this, next time there will be myriads and no party will stand before them and the general elections. The days of igbo politicians cowering is coming to an end. The igbo don't care whether Obi wins or loses neither does their survival depend on Obi's candidacy. So whether 1m or 10m votes, y'all can kill yourselfs. |
Offpointng:I think Na birds of the same feather dey go there. They were world number one in rape, aids, crime etc. And xenophobia would never let me bother to check if their status has changed. |
APC2:It's SA after South africa. Then after them, it's SA again. |
Abbeytoy:So, what change has come from seeing Nigeria presidency as fulani-ogun rotationary seat? Why was Goodluck so uncomfortable to bear that y'all had to gang up to dislodge him and Nigeria had to be made ungovernable via terrorism? Why can't Wike, Akpabio, Amaechi, Obi and other parts of yoruba be allowed to run? Why are people tagged bigots for not supporting Ogun-Fulani rotationary agenda? Why should Obi concede power rotation to the south? Will heavens fall if Kwankwanso became or provided the vice president? Does he have two heads? Obama became president with senior man Biden as running mate even though Biden had long been senator and ran for presidency before Obama's time. |
Obidient4life2:Abi? He really wanted to be governor having ran for the seat 3 times in 1990, 1997 and 1998, the later which he eventually won. yyba:Well, let's hear what his people have to say about what transpired. |
