Did your father leave a business or company? How many of you have learnt the trade or interested in the area to gather experience that can be made future partner?
Since he is paying your fees, has he refused to set up business or artisanship of you people's choice? There are ways to collect your own shares of inheritance without you all directly dragging to control just that one source.

If you can give full info, we can understand and see what to suggest.

They can be going on holidays like once a year or two to keep in touch with tech and trends. Allow cousins and uncles/aunts to take them farming, trading, church camp, swimming, squirrel hunting etc. They'll thank you later.

Of course, this is subject to change as more wells are being located, ceded and receded across all states but you should get the point that igbo land is not a stranger to oil neither is it in negligible quantity.

Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa etc depend on offshore locations on imaginary lines in the sea claimed as Nigerian territory and subsequently ceded to those states. Imo has Nigeria's largest oil reserve and only a minute fraction of it has been explored.
If you want to prove your doubt, go down and visit the oil producing communities. Don't just drive through onicha, owerre or umuahia deceiving yourself say you no see oil.
