Well, I won't mind getting help now but I still give others help steady even with my last card without them knowing my predicament. People look at me as big plus I am not an extrovert. So, in all my troubles past and present, I will be dying in silence.
Meanwhile, I'm into public transport in the east. We provide thoroughly checked drivers and fleet management for your vehicles to take stress and disappointment away from you. |

omolola100: My mother advice me never to look for a rich man who is well do whenever i'm set to get married. she said i should marry a man that we will both start our life from the foundation, according to my mum, she said it is better to suffer with man to acquire wealth, than to go for a ready made soup.
Looking at the way things are going now, do you think a woman will now stoop so low and marry a poor man that is trying to make ends meet? Although, money is not love, but why would a parent wish her daughter to marry a poor man, i am begining to see my mum as a bad mother who does'nt wish me well. Is it advisable i follow my mothers advice? I should stay in SURULERE instead of OLORUNSOGO. It's either you didn't understand your mother's words or she didn't explain it properly. From the tone of this writeup, I'll say the fault is all yours. |

arsetalks: Let's not deceive ourselves, Twitter deserves the ban. What they did they can't try with America and get away it.
My only issue is Buhari is not fit to be the one to ban Twitter. And the fact that the ban came just after Twitter deleted Buhari's tweet shows their motive isn't right.
Twitter is wrong allowing Nmadi Kanu and other terrorists use their platform against a country but Buhari acting so swiftly shows we are in for it.
The Arrow ( can't believe me a staunch fan of his could say this ) could have acted this swiftly on many issues but refused but could add on something as mundane as Twitter.
722 days more to this sick maladministration but can we say with the stupidity of Buhari Nigeria will still be in existence by then? What are you talking about? Twitter fact-checked and deleted tweets from the president of America then they banned him completely even when he uses another person's account to tweet, they'll delete it. Nnamdi Kanu is like any other private profile not given much attention like that of companies and presidents so he has been getting away with stuff but now twitter attention has been drawn to his account. He has been marked for vetting. |

omolola100: Whenever an American citizen wake up in the morning, they will pray that God should bless America.
This country is turning to something else and i dont think Nigeria can ever balance again, my cousin who works in a private school got back home after the proprietress sacked her for asking the student to pray for the redemption of Nigeria, and also telling the student to observe a minute silence for the COAS and the military personnel that lost their life in the plane crash.
Is it a crime to pray for one's nation again? The woman is an enemy of the nation for her to have rejected prayer for our dear nation. Who does she think she is to hijack someone's school curriculum and be directing other people's children to observe a minute silence for COAS? Is she the kid's parents or the school director? I am planning on getting a keke napepe on a hire purchase to supplement my income as the salary I get at the end of the month is not enough to carry the family. But my question is does it worth it getting keke on a hire purchase.
Knowing fully that I will be making a weekly return. Please those that are knowledgeable in this type of business, should I go into it. Don't listen to people discouraging you that market is saturated, union fee bla bla bla. Transport i.e. Movement of people, goods and services from one place to the other can never ever be saturated! Don't buy fairly used especially if you are a novice on the road. As a civil servant, contact the microfinance banks or Cooperative around to give you loan to buy new Keke btw 600-800k OR new Okada 250-300k. Their interest is maximum 15-20%. Maybe sending delegates would have made sense.
But then what do I know?
And then, this Nigeria anything goes
even the GCFR no attend. I think Obama missed Muhammad Ali's burial for his daughter's secondary school graduation. Some things are already fixed while the other sprung up in a matter of few days or few hours and can be revisited on the way home from the fixed occasion. |

They would likely be making condolence visits on their way back.
Most importantly, No be them kill am.
On the other side, it shouldn't surprise you if half of them weren't even aware of the incident or burial plans considering the amount of undeveloped illiterates we have running things in this area. |

The incident happened in Edo state, I have some images of the tax Slip and the shop. To make matters worse his house and shop are kinda together which makes him somehow homeless. Seems he needs urgent quick fix to avoid snyper temptation. Transportation business is a fast way to crawl out and he can make time to learn or rebuild and grow whatever other enterprise he chooses in future. Romance › Re: Upcoming Wedding Palava by jmichael259(m): 9:12pm On May 18, 2021 |
Annoms: I'll try to make this short.
Yesterday I was having a conversation with my fiancée about my mum's suggestion about how to go about our wedding which is scheduled to take place Jan next year. My mum suggested that we do both trad and white wedding on the same day to cut cost. She opined that we do the white wedding in the morning and hold the traditional marriage as a reception in the afternoon. I pretty much see reasons from her perspective considering the harsh economic condition in Nigeria.
I was relating this to my fiancée yesterday in a phone call, when she flared up and said I should have consulted her to seek her opinion on this marriage arrangement before going to my family to seek theirs because I said my mum's advise seems okay.
What I deduce from her plight was that she wants the trad marriage at the village (south-east) while the white at the town where we base (South-West). That was what I initially wanted but due to high inflation in the land, I'm actually tilting towards my mum advise because I can't go bankruptcy just because I want to satisfy her. Why not use a stone to kill two birds?
She wants a cream-de-la-cream kind of wedding but she's not ready to assist financially to make that happen. (she's an awaiting corper)
I told her that the cost of transportation and lodging people from the village (hers and mine) to the city for our white marriage alone is gulping about 500/600k. That's transportation & lodging alone ooo.. I'll now spend if not x2 of what I spent on trad for white.. Why not just do everything in the village and move on with our lives? We can actually have it in the village and it will still be all nice and glamourous.
She said she wants to have a say in how her marriage will look like. Her imput is welcomed. But if she still insist on having the white wedding and not putting finances into consideration. I'm thinking that she want the white wedding on the city because of her friends who will attend which is not enough reason to go bankruptcy for.
It was a heated argument yesterday. We both went to bed angrily and not in talking terms till now
Pls advice accordingly. Thanks Just imagine! And you are still wondering what to do?! Abeg bring that transport money to me. You'll get it back with huge interest before December. You can get a lawyer let's do the deal. |

Ojey1234 said most of it. But my observation is that barbing and betshop will not work for you. Most importantly, you need your wife's participating as the operator or caretaker of whatever hustle you choose to start because of your transport business. OVERALL, you will need to think outside of the city you live in. You can fix your money on landed property. Or take any advice of Restaurant, drink supply, Phone gadgets, vehicle maintenance accessories, animal feeds, Poultry, fishery, sales and supply of nylon/polythene etc. Don't buy another (vehicle) liability with the hope of getting a trustworthy operator. Don't go into forex or crypto if you didn't already know about it. Lemme stop here for now. |

Sheffdon: Now, to be honest, I just clocked 26. I was done with my sec. education way back in 2012. Due to one problem to the other, i couldn't further. I had to involve myself in some menial jobs to sustain myself for the meantime and along the way, i learned phone and computer engineering and i do brush through some very important books occasionally.
This is where I need your wise opinion guys. Dad got into a problem when i was about to finish sec. School and since then, hes been repaying debt till now. Infact, debt has consumed all his salary. He's just borrowing from peter to pay Paul to survive.
And he's still of the opinion that i go to school. I got admission to study pharmacy at OOU in 2018, paid the acceptance fee but couldn't pay school fees and i lost it for good. So he wants me to try again but where will he even see the money when school wahala comes again? He's gonna go the borrowing way again i guess; compounding the problem we have at hand
So I've been thinking....what if i go back to factory work, then get myself a computer and learn programming "frontend development for a start"? I want to dedicate atleast 1 to 2 years to learn it. Then after that, i would proceed to school either on part time or full because i still want to further my education to get the b.sc cert. at the minimum.
Honourable men and women, CONSIDERING THE NIGERIA OF TODAY, i need your wise words at this critical junction of my life.
If I'm done with the programming, can it atleast sustain me a little bit?
Should I faithfully follow my dad's intention or just go through my own plan?
Thanks Take your Dad's advice. Go back to school in 2025 when you must have gotten your own systems, learnt the programming you want, established yourself as a well earning I.T. guru. You must have also acquired at least one asset (even if na half plot) and most likely married and be mobile by then. Then you will enjoy education somewhere in Ghana or Egypt where ASUU does not strike! Don't mind this current generation of parents will sacrifice their limbs so their kids will be called graduates without even caring how they'll survive through the course or after graduation. Nonsense, Debts and Desmond Elliott. |

educhigo: Urgent advise needed I'm deported from abroad with 1 million naira only, what kind of business can i go into? I was into motorcycle parts before i travel out, but seems the government banned okada in some part of the country such as Lagos State where i started life.
I was born in 1982 and I'm still single. My parents are not happy with me, I'm seriously confused. You only need around 200-400k to reestablish your okada parts business. Okada is still running in every state, they only banned them inside the municipalities but logistics and delivery business are using them. You can open shop in the outskirts where Okada still thrives and sell to them at reduced price. Go back to your known business AND ADD KEKE AND SHUTTLE BUS PARTS as you grow. Don't try to start forcing a new trade on yourself now cos if you misapply the money remaining then you'll realize the humiliation that deported people face if they fail. But if you are humble enough or can relocate to other parts of the country. With less than 1million you buy a taxi or Suzuki/Daihatsu shuttle bus and Go into transport business. You can make 10-15k daily if you really are out for hustle. Unless you already had other small skills like opening barbershop, laundry etc. RIGHT NOW DON'T EVER TRY OPENING SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T KNOW BEFORE!!! |
