Take a look at Ekiti for example and see how the educational structures are rapidly falling. If you have ever schooled up North...there is a systematic plan to have Northerners...foreign trained and obviously better...to take over from southerners in most Universities... eg ABU and BUK...
I hope other states wake up... [quote author=HigherEd post=72674947]I see it, but they are majorly doing it in a crooked way. UI doesn't enjoy nearly the amount invested into ABU. Don't get it twisted. That was just a story in the bible with a lesson to learn. Sarah did something out of frustration and it backfired..
1)If man's sperm and wife's egg is harvested, Artificially fertilised and re-implanted. Don't think it's wrong. Medical help.
2)If the sperm or egg is coming from an outsider. It is still medical help but very similar to adultery.
My two cents: Not completely okay in ethical, morality or religious standings.
What to consider: If a man can not naturally get a woman pregnant but the woman is okay. Easier for the woman herself and man's extended family to accept the baby they saw her carry and bear than the adopted. Nobody will know or care if it was expensive IVF treatments or donated sperm. If a man is okay and the woman has no eggs or can't be pregnant then the only way to get a child of the man's seed if he insists, is through a donor. This is more expensive than adoption and the child will be thought to be adopted by other folks cos the mother was not pregnant(unless she costumes and fakes pregnancy during the period).
Verdict: Adoption is way cheaper and drama free. Surrogacy is your Personal decision. Never involve having sex with an outsider things will go south from there. |

Kiishii: There isnt more to it, i kept it from him before marriage that's why he's reacting this way, he said it was a risky gamble, and i have apologised multiple times.
I had triplets. I know i should join the band wagon and blame you for not telling him but honestly you already know that marriage opportunity would have flown away and you wouldnt have this home and 3 lovely kids. Your confession is the only thing threatening your marriage right now. Your biggest mistake was letting him know that you already knew it and deliberately hid it from him before marriage. Many ladies get into marriage before discovering months or years later that they are barren or about to go into early menopause. You should have gone with him to see a doctor as to why your flow stopped. Allow them to run pregnancy and then fibroid and the rest before giving the "shock result of POF". Both of you will grieve and ask for medical help even join different ministries and then use the kids as consolation not as a weapon against you as it is now. WOMEN NEED TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GAME! THINK LIKE A MAN, ACT LIKE A LADY. Never become totally Jobless because of his threats! You must make sacrifices and adjustments. Carry him along with the new developments so he knows you respect and care for him and the kids. Find a job that is closer to your home or has more time for your kids even if you have to take a paycut. Best option seek professional advice, source funds and start your own venture. I see a lot of big madams running their own fashion, cosmetics, grocery, jewelry, cyber cafe, agric, poultry, transport, water supply, block industry or school business. SO THAT YOU WILL BE SELF DEPENDENT AND ABLE TO HOLD YOUR GROUND WITH THE KIDS NO MATTER WHAT THE FUTURE BRINGS. ## NEVER FEAR DEATH OR DIVORCE BUT DO NOT ASK FOR EITHER. |

Some whites are not, same with Indians too. The guy from Zimbabwe said that they do not cut babies when they are born; that they are given the chance to choose whether to get cut or not. It's weird but things work differently in many place.
I'm cut and I like it just fine and it's more attractive to me than seeing those uncut. it looks weird to me but I guess not so to them. Yeah, i just do not want to give my kids a permanent scar. Mynd44: Well actually, its her body and she can decide not to have any children sef.
The flip side is that it is his life, he can decide to walk out of the marriage to go have more kids.
These things shouldn't be binary. Childbirth isn't easy and a lot of women after going through one dont want or are scared to have another and they should not be blackmailed into it. But women should also not blackmail men into staying in a marriage where she has refused to have more and he refused.
A better solution is surrogacy. Her eggs, his sperm and someone else (paid or whatever the arrangement is) carries the baby to term. Everyone is happy.
Childbirth does a lot of things to women, a lot of women have to stop their careers, have to give up dreams, have to watch their body go through (sometimes irreversible) change so please do not blame them for not wanting it.
But is it selfish? Of course it is. But is it wrong? No. I used to think i was the last person remaining with sense on earth. Nicely worded. |
