The pastor has responsibility to feed the flock with Gods word. And by his they prosper. It's funny to note that those who criticize a pastor for teaching prosperity are the same people complaining for the por. This is contradictory . A pastor feed the sheep and by that they prosper as they put the message to work. As MOGs are criticized every day by mockers. Has any one wonder why ministries keep growing Despite all these attacks ? .its because of the undeniable results in the lives f members. He many have moved from zero to abundance thought the ministry of their pastors. People give testimonies in churches everyday. . Ministry is not about money but building lives and making champions out of people. An MOG who as done good job in the lives of people by making them rich.he himself will be appreciated by lives he touches, but above all things ,the prosperity of MOG is actually in the principles he teaches his members ,which he Los as a christian live by. MOG who doesn't give will lack. Every christian who oractice giving will have ,except there's a revelation or faith problem. |

There are signs of a call. If a man says he's a prophet nd cannot see anything. It's proof he's not. If a man says he's an evangelist and he doesn't win any soul to christ,he is simply not. If a man says he's a pastor and he can't endure to counsel,visit ,and feed the flock ,rather he is busy watching eurpean football he is not a pastor. . So what ever God call a man into ,he empowers such a man for it. He gives ability as a proof of his call on a man. There are obvious signs that will be evident. Those are the things you look out for. When people doubted the denuiness of the apostolic call upon Paul . And it was a customary thing not a spiritual thing so to say. It's a marital issue .its for only married women. To show their submission to their husban in public places , Was that Biblical Version That Ladies should Cover their Head Not For the ladies of Today's World ??Ladies in our world today use wedding ring to show the authority of the husband over their lives .but those days it was head covering for married women . To suggest that the Gospel is a threat or even blackmail to the wicked is rather silly and false. What happened to the gospel of LOVE, why are many believers so harsh when it comes to this subject ?I got born again by message of hell and Antichrist. Even though I preach the love of christ now. But I've learned not to criticize any message so long as God can work through it. Gracious10: Before I start, I would state that I am born-again Christian and sorely Belive in Christ alone.Seeing into the spiritual realm has two sides. Either demonic or by the holygjost. I have seen some Christians having spirit of divination. Some from childhood . Even when they get born again such thing still manifest. I Hiv actually prayed for a lady and the thing stopped. She always see who's about to die. But there's a gift of the holy spirit which causes ones eyes to be open into the spiritual realm. Every gift is for the purpose of edification. When you see danger, you intercede or warn to avert it. It's to glorify Jesus and deify the church ,you know better . Since the pastor is accountable for for. You before God and he is also a watch over your soul. Hebrews 13:17 Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit. Every pastor is not your pastor . So my contribution here is to go to the pastor first, since the bible says to go to the elders . James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him,. . . : if it's a matter beyond the pastor's gift or grace , the pastor can recommend another minister that he trust .who may posses the gift required. Kenneth Hagin was a healing minister . But he doesn't work creative miracle. For a matter which requires creative miracle such as amputer , maimed ,etc . He recommended then to go to William Braham church who has anointing for creative miracles eyes could grow out of eye socket. |

paul made people believe the rapture was coming in his day. He waited for it, why hasn't the rapture come till now. To the point umbelievers began to mock the faith. God delay is sometimes seen by men as weakness . Why the promise of the rapture seem not forthcoming . 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us- ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. There's great connection between the age of methuselah and the rapture. WHO WAS METHUSELAH ? He was the man that live longest 969 years He was the son of great prophet Enoch Genesis 5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: what's the meaning of methuselah ? What was the meaning of METHUSELAH . The name means " AFTER HIS DEATH, flood shall come (Noah's flood) That means Enoch saw the flood of Noah .over 1,000 years before hand ! WHO IS ENOCH He was the father of methuselah . The name was prophetic for a flood that was to come . That means Enoch was a prophet, he saw the flood of Noah . Even though Noah hadn't been born. Enoch saw the coming of christ and the rapture Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, Enoch was the first man to be raptured Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Did Enoch really forsaw Noah flood. ? Was it the death of methuselah that brought the water? Does it mean methuselah buried his own children who died of old age? Did methuselah see Noah's day? Why didn't methuselah enter the ark? What that the reason for methuselah longevity.? He was the sign for the flood . If he dies ,flood will come . So God had to keep him alive in his patience waiting for men to repent . Through the preaching of Noah . But since men mocked at the message of salvation them , God finally gave in. Methuselah finally died at 969 Gen 5:27. Genesis 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died. If his death really brought the flood . Noah should be about 600 yrs when Methuselah died. Let's do some calculations Methuselah at 187 gave birth to lamech Gen 5:25 Methuselah's son Lamech at 182 yrs gave birth to Noah ,Methuselah was 369 Gen 5:28 Lamech died at 777yrs methuselah must be 964yrs old That means methuselah buried his own son and still continued to lived on. Methuselah was 369yr when Noah was born if his death brought the flood. Gen 5:28 if we minus when Noah was born from methuselah age at death we should get the age of Noah when the flood came . He died at 969 he was 369 when Noah was born . So 969 minus 369 = 600. That means if that prophecy is true that his death brought the flood same year he died , Noah must me 600 years old when the flood came . Genesis 7:6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. . . This proves positive the prophecy of Enoch . Now whats the relevance of this? It's a shadow of christ coming. Men laughed at Noah and methuselah in their days saying That the flood they heard about from childhood hasn't come yet. But was God weak? No . Rather it was love and compassion kept methuselah alive because if he dies ,flood would come . The same way men laugh at he rapture today. Jesus compared the two experiences in Mattew Matthew 24:37-40 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. That's how men seem to be mocking the rapture today. 2 Peter 3:3-4 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation What delayed the flood was methuselah's death what delayed methusela's death was God mercy and patience for mankind . 1 Peter 3:20 [The souls of those] who long before in the days of Noah had been disobedient, when God’s patience waited during the building of the ark in which a few [people], actually eight in number, were saved through water. What's delaying the rapture today is still that patience . Waiting for the unsaved giving sinners opportunity to be saved 2 Peter 3:9-10 The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. We are simply discussing the abolishing of the Law. How can christians claim to be free fro the law, yet they still define their morales based on the same law? This question is still in accordance with the thread. My position is: There is nothing natural a christian indulges in that can be sin. Your indulgence may not be constructive\beneficial, but still not a sin. In fact, the only sin I know (for a christian) is homos.exuality(and other se.xual deviances, eg: bestiality).The law reveals Gods principles between the letters. The law is not bad in itself. Apart from the ten commandment ,there were other commands God gave them ,the purpose was to reveal mans inadequacy, no man could keep the 100% . The idea is to humble man to see the need for a savior Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. But for a man to seek justification before God based on the works of the law is wrong. The christian has the nature of God. So the principles of God are imbedded in his spirit or heart. Not as following a written code but that The sense and nature of right doing is now part of our make up. Ezekiel 36:26-27 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. The reason I won't kill is not because the law says so but because it's the nature of God in me not to kill or steal. Because I love God and I have his nature ,I do things that are pleasing to him. So what a christian need is to walk in love ,which is his nature . It's beyond a Law. .f you walk in love , you walk in the spirit you cannot fulfil fleshly desire Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. |

Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace The verse above makes it clear that Jesus has abolished the law of commandments, contained in ordinances, given to the Jews in the Old Testament. He fulfilled them and abolished them. The laws and commandments of the Old Testament are not relevant to the new creation in Christ Jesus. It’s therefore wrong for you to live your life trying to obey the Law. Hebrews 7:12 "For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. The Lord Jesus became our High Priest in the New Testament, not in the order of the Aaronic or Levitical priesthood, but in the order of Melchisedec (Hebrews 7:17&21). This signifies an eternal priesthood; a new priesthood, headed by Jesus Christ, different from what obtained in the Old Testament. Now, the importance of that is this: Jesus Christ has become our High Priest, and He’s not the High Priest of the Old Testament Law; He has a new law. Remember what we read in Hebrews 7:12, that a change in priesthood automatically means a change of the Law. Since the priesthood has been changed and Jesus Christ is now our High Priest in the New Testament, the law has also been changed. That’s why Jesus said in John 13:34, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another Love has replaced all the laws and ordinances of the Old Testament (Read Romans 13:8-10) . In Matthew 22:37-40 "…Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.". This however doesn’t mean that the Old Testament is not useful to us today. Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. The things written in the Old Testament have been written only for our learning; they’re not the revelations by which we live today as new creations in Christ. Now learn more of what it is to walk in love. |
