Has the tonic

1.Undergone a randomised control trial in Madagascar, or any other country

2.Proven to reduce virological load vs other treatments

3.Proven to act against covid in vitro or invivo

4.Proven to reduce hospital admission times vs remdesevir or placebo

If you can't answer these questions, it isn't a cure.
Nope. They saw a president drinking it on TV. That's all the proof they need that it cures covid-19.

I think it's mostly bad conditions and stigma.

Nigerians can stigmatize people ehn.

By the time such people recover and return home don't be surprised that your neighbours would treat you like outcasts despite your recovery.

They will be looking at you somehow when you are passing and even tell their children not to play with yours.

Even after 2 years!
Stigma, yes. Last for two years, no. They'd soon forget.

Enough of this clownery , respirators offer little or no help to COVID patients but rather kill them , we should be developing organic cures that have Quinine and Artemisinin in them at this point to chase this Dr Fauci conspiracy virus out of Africa
I've never figured out why Nigerians are obsessed with ventilators. I guess when we hear anything on CNN - like "lockdown" - we run with it. Do we even know it requires 24-hour electricity?

nonsense. The perpetrators of such act are aware that in the event of them getting caught, they will most likely get life time in jail with hope of leaving one day maybe thru jail break or being granted leniency by a shallow minded Governor. Look at the portharcourt serial killer, he is still alive jumping from one court to another till date when the evidence against him is overwhelming. Strap these guys to stakes at the beach and broadcast their execution live make we see if the rest no go get sense.
So you think the way to stop crime is to abolish courts and kill suspects on the spot? I hope you're not the victim of a mistaken identity, wrong place at the wrong time, or any kind of false accusation some day.

The logic is simple: If everyone around you is putting on a mask, then you are safe.

But to tell you the truth, I don't fancy wearing those masks myself.

I feel like it is going to be very discomforting.
Doesn't matter in this case. A good leader obeys the rules and sets a good example in doing so.

I'd address the cause rather than go for medication.

They're well funded. That means they have modern gadgets of policing, the men are paid extra bonuses for being in the squad - on top of their regular police salaries, and there's generous benefits for family if they lose their lives on the job, etc. They also try to find a good officer to head it. The current, head, Tunji Disu, appears a very enlightened person who drums into his men to do their job well and takes very seriously any complaint of misbehaviour made against his men.

Read what you composing.

"Many years back'

He is an Ex and now the President of a country. He has every tool and resource under his control. Leading troops to the front exposed his failure in coordination.
Someone asked if he's a combatant - that's what I responded to.

On your rant, yes, the president doesn't have to lead troops to war, but Deby is doing it because he wants to - I'm not sure why you have a problem with that. You're thinking of his safety, but he's not stupid and he's aware of the risks. They have measures in place to protect him and he's not personally firing RPGs.

So the president of a country being in the front lines is a commendable move?

Hello, if you truly know about leadership, you won't compose what you have up there. So if a confrontation happens and he is shot dead, what would be your conclusion.

Is he a combatant, Airforce or Naval officer. What skill does he have to be in the front lines.

So you expect MTN CEO to climb a Telecom mast when their is a major outage.

It's demoralises, insult and ridicule to the Generals in his cabinet. And same time and insult to his office to have appointed incompetent lots that had to warrant him to go to the frontlines.

We talking about a No 1 man of a country.
Yes. Deby is a combatant - the toughest of them all. I recall when he similarly led the troups to take on rebels when they invaded his capital many years back. Long before then he was a tested bush fighter.

Health › Re: COVID-19: Air Peace Delivers First Batch Of Medical Supplies For FG by JuanDeDios: 5:46pm On Apr 05, 2020
Mrchippychappy:
Igbo business men sometimes tend to be the stupidest set of people in Nigeria.

During the Xenophobic attack, the FG turned against the igbos made derogatory remarks yet Airpeace flew in to rescue Nigerians.

Barely two months after AIRPEACE flew Nigerians out of the volatile SA regions to safety in Nigeria, certain elements in the FG actively SPONSORED an investigation AGAINST the same airline that just helped the inept FG rescue fellow Nigerians. These unscrupulous characters even went as far as inviting the FBI to look into Onyeama's records but their efforts all fell flat! They unleashed their hound dogs - Lauretta onochie and Bashir Ahmed on Onyeama as they tried and still try to discredit the management of AIRPEACE!

Innoson has been on the receiving end of insults, deliberate sabotage and a targetted smear campaign from the FG against him. Recently the media spokesperson for the FG openly ridiculed and insulted innoson using his twitter handle.

Now AIRPEACE has gotten involved AGAIN in helping the same FG that has so much hatred for the average igbo business man.

Ndi-igbo when would you learn your lesson?

Here is a screenshot of Bashir's insult toward the Innoson manufacturers
I'm not sure what your grouse is. Air Peace is a business set up to fly people and things. For money. Fee. Payment. That's what they just did for the federal government. Please explain why you're angry FG gave its business to Air Peace because I don't understand.

Not in Nigeria.

Before the internet craze people will see an accident and walk away because no one wants the police to arrest them for helping a stranger.

Now people take pictures, post on social media and hope the proper authorities see it and take action.

Sometimes you need to see the good on what others do

Now people see an accident
Exactly!
